SCAMMERS!!! I am fuming and disgusted how these tools have handled a simple redeem credit issue. Long story short I have tried to rebook flights which I was told have a year to do so from the date my credit was issued to me in 2022. They quote nearly the same amount as just booking directly from qantas - yes I cross checked ALL their bogus quotes and fake fare breakdowns. According to them this includes my nearly $800 in credit, they want ANOTHER $1500 for a return trip auckland to sydney. P*** off.
On top of this they tried saying qantas has "new policies in place" so i cant even use my credit anymore before even trying to rebook. I threatened to take them to small claims court, and THEN they sharpen up and come back with ActUaLLy wE cAn reBoOk yOuR fLiGhtS NoW. Never book through these dishonest reps as they just want your money and don't care about your travel at all. Their customer service is shocking when you can actually get in touch with them. It's a scam, simple as that and I got duped. Stay well away from them.

Lastnight we booked flights and there system cut off 3 letters on our booking (Thank you god we checked the booking), we promptly called them within 2 mins of the booking being confirmed and advised them what happened initially they wanted to help and advised us to send our passport etc so they can let the airline know but as soon as I told them we were not paying for the error because it was not our fault they advised us to cancel our flight instead (cost $3,373 and they would keep the $300 for fees & it would also take 3-4 working days to refund) I obviously disagreed because I knew at that point they just wanted to take the $ and duck out on having to fix there error. Than they tried to say if we had a name correction it would cost thousands of dollars because we would have to book a whole new person and re-issue a whole new flight & that it would be better for us to cancel the flight and re-book directly with the airline (another attempt to keep the $300 and make us cancel) and on top of that they kept putting us on hold acting like they were speaking with the airline. SMH! After 2 long hours of going back and forth we ring Air Nz direct who advised us we needed to speak with Webjet, THANKFULLY the air Nz support person was helpful and advised us they don’t use middle names on the bookings so it would be fine & that it’s FREE to change up to 3 letters on any booking. WEB JET ARE A COMPLETE RIP OFF!! AND THERE STAFF SERIOUSLY NEED TO BE TRAINED TO HELP NOT JUST KEEP MONEY!! WITHOUT US SPENDING YOU LITERALLY HAVE NO JOB!!

Horrible place to book. Extremely limited to any change, so if something goes wrong and you need to change, there’s nothing you can really do about it. Regret buying with them and will never again

If minus one was rating I would give them. I booked flights and very next minute I called to ask I have received my tickets. Got told it's over booked and we cannot issue tickets. Webjet portal did not reflect that at all. False and misleading information don't ever book from webjet.
I booked return flights from Auckland…
I booked return flights from Auckland to Peru. After a month or so I started getting emails that my flights had been changed which I understand is partly out of their control but then they added an extra flight to my route. After another month, they sent me an email saying "You contacted the airline directly. We can't do anything. You have to contact them yourself".... which I NEVER did.... -__- anyway was such an annoying process to get my flights sorted out. 4 months after this, Webjet decide to call me the day before I fly, just to tell me I'm double booked on on one of my return flights... though I actually wasn't... -__- their support team are unclear, useless and just stress you out. I spent so much time on hold. I thought working through a third party would mean less stress for me... turned out to be the opposite.
No refund
Booked tauranga to Queenstown at 7.30 am, for a flight at 2.05 pm, no confirmation until 12.30 pm, at which time we were already at the airport having purchased another ticket via air nz.
Would not refund ticket or change to another flight. Avoid like the plague.

I booked an Air NZ flexi refund fare through Webjet but needed to cancel.
I received the refund I expected less what Webjet said was a $45.91 per passenger is an 'Airline Tax' which they said is not refundable. After much perseverance I got a call to say it was there mistake. I would be refunded the Airline Tax ... I was happy ... until I got a gift voucher for the amount owed. As per there terms and conditions refunds are back to their original payment. I had already received a full refund back in gift vouchers and a partial refund to my credit card.
So now I am back to the online chat of pain. I should have it sorted by the end of the year.
Honestly people, don't use them, they literally suck the life out of you.
Extremely hard to get a refund
Extremely hard to get a refund. Had even written to the CEO. No response. The customer service staff come up with different reasons. They contradict with their own terms and conditions. Sometimes they disconnect the phone after a long wait of more than an hour. Horrible customer service. Please don't book through webjet. I'm giving one star because there is no option of giving Zero to this company. Once the money is taken, they don't care about the customers at all. I want to see them shutting down their company soon.

Don’t know how this company can continue to get away with what they do despite all the negative reviews, wish I had read these before using them. Paid for a ticket with bag and got to the airport and no bag allowance. Had to pay extra for bag then on the phone over an hour to get through only to be told that that was my ticket I purchased despite having a receipt for a seat with bag??? Told them this unacceptable and fraudulent and told they would ‘escalate’ to complaints and that would get back to me in 24-72 hours…. And still not heard anything. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Lack of information on trip.
Was not provided enough information about trip - did not realise that first flight was essentially domestic and run by Air New Zealand rather than Qantas. Misleading information about options for one of the passengers to board international flight at another departure location. I would not use them again. Best to book directly with airline.

I have a round trip ticket bought thru Webjet from Wellington NZ to Cebu Philippines via Sydney Au and Singapore. On my way back to NZ, on my flight from Singapore to Sydney. I was obliged by the
Singapore Airline Staff to claim my baggage and to clear the Custom although my final destination is Wellington NZ. The airline staff said I have to exit the airport because my next flight is on the following day. Webjet never inform me about this matter. I was forced to stay in the hotel overnight with my own expenses. It's a disappointing experience.

I’ve booked a flight with them before and it all went well however this time I wanted to book a hotel too using the “Bundle & Save” offer.
Their website says “Already booked a flight at Webjet? Start your hotel search and look out for the Bundle & Save icon in the results for extra savings” so I booked a flight and then started looking for a hotel. No bundle & save deals showed up….
I contacted “customer support” through the app who told me that despite what it says on their website AND in their terms and conditions (“Better yet, your discount offer lasts until your holiday starts - giving you time to plan and choose the perfect hotel.”), you can’t access discounted hotel rates unless you book a package.
They refused to acknowledge that what they were telling me goes against what they say in their terms and conditions, just kept saying I needed a single booking number, and then ended the chat session.

Provide false information in chats to avoid extending credits. Claims Air NZ policies state they can't do xyz, only for air nz to tell me it is not the case. Do not listen, spend hours having the same conversation with different people. Refuse to provide a contact email address to escalate. And when they do, email bounces back saying email address is not monitored. Disgusting service.

I had a voucher for Webjet that had expired 4 days earlier and they wouldn't let me use it, in my mind they have effectively stolen $100 of my money, i made a complaint and nobody ever phoned me back.
worst customer service i have ever experienced, i will never use them again and i will make sure i warn as many people as possible, after not being able to travel due to covid for so long i would have thought they would have done the right thing and extended the voucher for me.

Pretty much have no idea why I booked flights through them wasn't even cheaper. They are so hard to deal with when you need to try and get a refund. Please don't book through them! 3rd party makes it so hard to get any refund. I'm out $240 bucks. Please learn from my mistake! They don't pick up the phone, you pay for insurance but they make you go on a wild goose chase for documents you won't get until you just give up. Stuff them.
