Lensen voor PSVR2 besteld. Orderformulier was zeer eenvoudig in te vullen. Tien dagen na plaatsen van order afgeleverd in mooie bescherm koker. Door de lensen kan ik de VR bril dichter naar mijn ogen schuiven en zijn de reflecties die een gewone bril met zich meebrengt verdwenen. Prima aankoop en maakt het dragen van de VR bril een stuk comfortabeler.

The lenses arrived very quickly I got mine 9 days after i ordered even with the slow delivery option. the prescription is exactly as i specified and they even sent a little bag of german gummybears with the lenses. 5/5

Really happy with the lenses the time between ordering and delivery wasnt that long okay it took a bit but nothing crazy i think it was 9 days out of my head but i am really happy with my qeust 2 lenses cause without i cant see that good they are really easy to put on my qeust 2 and to get them off for like someone trying your headset that dosnt need them to see good they also work great!!

Very fast shipment (I ordered within Germany) and the quality and fitting of the lenses for my PICO4 is exceptional! Very good quality for a very good price and the packaging also is on par with expensive glasses. Highly recommended.

I strongly advise against purchasing from this company as they engage in deceptive practices. I’ve been a customer since 2019 without any issues, but recently I got scam. Despite successfully placing an order a few days ago, they falsely claimed the payment failed and marked the order as unsuccessful. Strangely, they changed their names on PayPal. Although the payment is still pending from my PayPal and deducted from my bank account, they insist the transaction failed on their end, should be failed on my end as well and recommend trying a different payment method. This inconsistency is concerning and reflects poorly on their integrity.

I had a good experience with VR Optician. Ordering was very easy, and support was quick to respond when I needed to change the shipping speed. Shipping time did not take too long — about a week or so. The lenses came in excellent condition and were exactly the same as my glasses. Eye tracking seems to have improved compared to my glasses. In addition, I can now adjust the headset to be significantly closer to my face, which increases the FOV substantially.

I've been vr player many years, and wearing glasses was irritable on many levels constantly adjusting headset because glasses, I'd thought many times over year just never done the jump...Read reviews of other companies so bad experience, I thought it's time to make the move on prescription lenses vr opticians had great reviews, when on website was so easy to use, vr opticians website was simply to find right headset and input prescription, was given tracking on progress, I'm in UK so I thought from Germany was going to be awhile, omg within 5 days received lenses, so professionally packed and came in own case, was easy to install, I've had couple hours no vr without needing my glasses it's now because a game changer, much more comfortable and no problem with the prescription lenses they are spot on,

Anyone that's thinking of making the change of using glasses and buying prescription lenses, for my personal experience from ordering, receiving to installing and most importantly wearing headset vr opticians are place to get what you need in vr lenses, they have large selection of vr headset,

I've purchased Quest 2, PSVR2 and now Quest 3 lenses from them.

All have been immaculate. Fitted perfectly, and the prescription spot on.

Very quick too. Ordered my Quest 3 lenses at the start of the weekend, and despite having to be imported into the UK, arrived at my door early on the Thursday morning. So just 3 days really.

If only my spectacle optician were that quick!

Just wanted to thank you this amazing business to create such an amazing product and service.

TL;DR: Great product when it works. Varjo Aero eye-tracking isn't guaranteed to work based on your prescription contrary to what the product page says. Awful support that drip feeds information, tries to gaslight you into being the root cause of a faulty product and provides incorrect information (see my Varjo response below for more on that).

Review:

Back when I had my HP Reverb G2 I purchased some prescription inserts from VROptician and I was pleased with the results. The package arrived well packaged in a lens case, not to dissimiliar to a glasses case, and it had little protective sacks for each lens.

Last year when I upgraded to a Varjo Aero headset I decided to give VROptician a try again as they explicitly called out that their lenses are compatible with Varjo's eye-tracking, similar to glasses, for foveated rendering. That's where the issues began.

As it turns out, in rare cases where there's a strong difference between the prescription of your left and right eyes, eye tracking will NOT work when using VROptician's lenses. In other words, the product is not as described in that it doesn't explicitly state on the product listing that eye tracking may not work in certain circumstances. But it wasn't a big deal at that point, I'd reach out to see what we could figure out.

I sent an email describing the issue and received a response several days later. I replied again hours later and then the responses stopped for several days. Conscious that time was getting on and that I wasn't really receiving any response, I decided to email again to request a return, a returns shipping label which would make it clear to customs that it was a product return, and a refund. That was when more responses came along, with no shipping label but only instructions on where to deliver the item to, where the jist of it is that VROptician are wrongly under the impression that only German laws apply here in the case of a product that is both faulty and not as described.

After reaching an impasse, I raised a dispute on PayPal. This is where VROptician then tried to 'gaslight' me by implying my prescription (supplied by two opticians) is wrong because my prior prescription, for the Reverb G2 lenses, was vastly different and that this prescription must be the cause, therefore it's my fault. I explained that the optician, from my first prescription in 2019, had halved the strength of my left eye as to not introduce double vision since I was new to glasses. VROptician then dropped this point and started clutching at more straws.

VROptician then said that Varjo had replied to them and said that everything looked fine based on the eye-camera pictures I'd sent VROptician.

The exact quote from VROptician being

we contacted Varjo itself because they test the eye tracking by using our adapters. I get the information now that every test mark can be seen. So this should be not the problem

Funnily enough, I received an email from Varjo directly, as I raised a support case separately, and Varjo have explicitly said

We have seen a few cases like yours where, especially when using inserts with different prescription, there have been issues with eye tracking. As you also state that without inserts eye tracking works fine, there is no apparent issue from our side. From the images you attached, a lot of reflections are visible when using the inserts and that can certainly affect the eye tracking.
END QUOTE

Which means that either VROptician are blatantly lying about their contact with Varjo or they are omitting certain information from Varjo.

Throughout this exchange, VROptician repeatedly said they were offering a return as I was "clearly uninterested in fixing the problem" (which I had attempted to do prior to their patchy responses), failing to realize that a refund is not an offer - it's an entitlement, as per both the EU and UK consumer laws, given the product didn't function as described.

Via the PayPal case they offered a full refund so PayPal's triage process basically passed that offer to me, meaning I ultimately had to pay for the return shipping. The customs label was declared as a Returned Good. The item has now been sitting in a facility in Glauchau for the past week as VROptician/TwoSight haven't yet picked up the item.

when i bought my index i thought that it would work with glasses as well, but sadly my glasses are too big to fit inside (plus the fear to scratch the vr lenses was to big to try to fit them inside of the headset) so for a while i play it without them but just like in real life i couldnt see anything far from me, so online i looked up vr lenses and the first one was that poped up was VR Optician.

I ordered the lenses the 25th of november and it came the 1st of dicember, the reason for the fast shipping (to me at least) is the company is based in germany while i live in italy so it was fast, if you live farther than that i dont know how long it would take.

the day the lenses arrived they came in a fancy glasses case with theyre logo on it and inside there were two micro-fibers bags where inside there were the lenses, a micro-fiber cloth and some swipes for screens as well. And also some Haribo candy nice :)

But for some reason they were a bit dirty (mostly white stuff that looked like dry paint chips) but nothing that the micro-fiber cloth couldnt clean up.

so yeah if one of my friends wants to get into vr and has glasses i would recommend this company

I originally went with a company called Teddith, to put lenses into my Quest 2 VR. They arrived completely incorrect and won’t respond to me about getting my money back… £34.99 now given to my bank to chargeback!!

I then went with VR Optician, after a recommendation, WOW!! I can use my VR without glasses on!! Top quality service, fast turn around and great communication from start to finish!
Only £55 to use my headset without specs on!

I provided an incorrect prescription, and they allowed me to send the product back for a free replacement, even though they had not made any mistake. When the new order arrived, it was perfect and greatly enhances my VR experience.
