Update from my previous review. Finally after seven weeks and inquiry from Citibank, they shipped ONE of the two pair of glasses, but they are the WRONG ones! They are not the style or the color I ordered. Ordered SLAM goggle in shiny Gunmetal/Black and received Slam XL in matte Black/Purple. Now I can't get any response on how to return them. Their money back guarantee is absolutely worthless if there is no way to get a response from them. I have called, let voicemail, sent email, and left a message on their website. Crickets. I don't yet know if I'm going to have to open a new dispute now that they shipped something, even if it's wrong. In the meantime prior to receiving these I ordered another pair from a different company and I no longer want or need these, especially since they are the wrong ones. So disappointed and frustrated.

I would avoid this company at all costs! They’re the absolute worst. We ordered 2 pairs of glasses, 1 for each of my kids. They took MONTHS to receive and when we finally did, the prescription was incorrect for one of the glasses. We tried calling customer service, but they were difficult to reach. We finally returned the incorrect glasses, but then it took weeks to get a refund. DO. NOT. ORDER. FROM. THIS. PLACE! It took multiple calls to get anything from this company. Terrible!

Not sure what happened to this company. I used them multiple times since 2024 and they were good. However something happened in 2026. I ordered a pair of sports glasses in April and still haven't received them (July). Consumer service will give a number of explanations for the delay and promise it will ship within days. They also offer free shipping, but that means nothing when the product doesn't ship. I would avoid this company for the time being until they figure it out and get back to their old business practices.

DO not ever buy from this company!!! It is virtually impossible to get anyone to respond if you have a problem with the product. I bought a pair of glasses for pickleball and the prescription was wrong. You have a 30-day money-back guarantee, but you have to get something they call a "return authorization number" (no doubt intended to create a disincentive for returns) in order to implement a return. I have called them at least 5 times and have never reached a live person. You are just kept on hold interminably with a recording that comes on periodically, apologizing for the lengthy delay. They also tell you that you can press any key and leave a voice message and someone will call you back. I have left 3 such messages and have never received a return call. They have been equally non-responsive to email. They also allegedly have a live chat line, but no matter when you send a chat message, you receive an automated reply which says they're offline and will contact you "in a few hours" when they are back online. I don't know if I will ever get my refund (my glasses cost $300), but I will obviously never buy from this company again and I recommend that you don't either.

Purchased prescription sports goggles for my son and paid extra for the ProCoat anti-fog lens upgrade. Unfortunately, the lenses still fog during normal sports use, making the goggles difficult to use and not performing as advertised.
When I contacted Optics Outfitter, they refused a replacement or refund and only offered a discount toward purchasing another pair. I should not have to spend more money to replace a product that failed to deliver on a feature I specifically paid extra for.
Disappointed with both the product performance and the customer service response. I expected the company to stand behind its product.

Do not order from this company. Same experience as others. Ghosted after order. Ordered a month ago. No communication. They don’t answer emails, phone calls, or voicemails. Filed a dispute with credit card to get a refund.

Would love to give zero stars but they actually refunded me so I feel like one star is deserving. My issues? Just look at all the other reviews and you will see why you should not do business with this company, response ratio is like 5 to 1 (I have to reach out like 5 times via different methods to get a response) took over a month for them to tell me that my glasses for my son didn't pass inspection TWICE before I told them to cancel my order, in that time I went to my local optometrist, got a check up for my son, and got 3 pairs of glasses, do not do business with this company. Just a complete waste of time, I would dare say SCAM, but they did refund me.

I waited nearly two months for my prescription sunglasses. I called and emailed them multiple times regarding the status of my order. I was given a different BS story each time and told I would receive a call back within 24 hours with a status update. Never received any follow up. The final call I was told the glasses were on back order...not "nearly done" or "on quality hold". Bottom line, I was lied too multiple times. I can't believe this place is able to stay in business! There is a serious lack of integrity here. I'm giving them a 1 rating only because I can't give them a zero! Once I realized I had been lied to I demand a refund and did receive one. This of course doesn't make up for the lost time (2 months) waiting for glasses that were never received and the hours...yes I spent hours on hold waiting to speak with their sales prevention department aka customer service?? Bottonline...I couldn't be more disappointed!

I will spare you the rant and just say read all the other one star reviews. Same story. Never received my RecSpecs. No way to track order...no live human reachable EVER to ask where the order is...tried endless emails, texts, voicemails...after doing that every day for two weeks, I disputed the charges on my credit card for merchandise never received. It's now under investigation. This company should be put down!

I have one star because I had to in order to leave a review. I ordered my son’s sport glasses on May 25th and paid in full at the time of the order. They emailed me saying his PD measurement was missing from the order, but I didn’t receive the email until their fifth attempt to reach me. I got the measurement they needed to them on June 7th. After several emails and calls being unanswered, it is now June 24th and we still have not received a product that we paid for nearly a month later. I plan on contracting my bank for fraud if I don’t have the product by tomorrow. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Company ghosted me on my order. After weeks of waiting I have not received my order. Contacted the company via phone, email & chat. No response. My order shows fulfilled, however UPS tracking shows not delivered. Filed a complaint with State Attorney General office and contacted by bank for a refund.

I had one decent experience but the glasses took four weeks to arrive. Then, my second experience the order got "lost" by ups despite my never receiving a shipping confirmation. It took at least 4 attempts via email and phone to reach customer service and when they finally remade the glasses it took another 3 weeks to get them. Won't be trying Optic Outfitters a third time.

I've attempted 3 times to contact them now for a new set of lenses. The phone wait time has been over 30 minutes for each encounter and no one ever answered leaving me to hang up.

No one monitors their chat feature either. Attempted to go that route on all 3 occasions and no one ever responded unless you consider AI helpful (it isn't in this setting). Hard to do business with a company that has zero communication within its standard operating procedures. Time to get away from having to use them and move onto someone with some reputable reviews.

They did not deliver my order. When selling they reply fast but when after service concerns zero reply at all despite numerous tries.

I ordered a set of lenses. A week later, nothing. I paid, they collected the funds. Everything stopped after that. No updates on the website, no response in chat, zero answers on my many calls. This must be a scam. Buyer beware!

Ordered it and they said it takes 2 weeks. After shipping, it didn't move for a week and I called them, they said UPS lost it. They knew it but there was no proactive communication.
They said that they will ship a new one in 5 business days.
7 days now. No shipment yet.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered prescription sunglasses on May 20th 2026. On the 21st, I got an email from them asking for a measurement which I provided immediately and they acknowledged receipt of. A few days later an email arrived that said the glasses were in progress and on the 29th an email said the glasses were initial stages complete and moving on to next stage. Then CRICKETS! I sent a chat to check the status on June 4th and got a link to my order which told me nothing. On the 8th, I texted again. I got a response from the automated system that the human chat employees were offline and to check back during business hours (it was business hours). On the 9th of June, I actually got someone to answer a call after being on hold for ages. She acknowledged they should be done and put me on hold to "check." She said she couldn't get an immediate answer in that moment but would text me back on the 10th; she did not. I called again today and both times, my call went straight to voicemail. Needless to say I told them in the message that they should consider my order cancelled and have initiated a chargeback with my credit card company. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot get a hold on anyone over chat (never online), calls (infinite hold, nobody picks up), or email (no replies).

Also, notice how all their positive reviews here are between Apr and June of 2025.

No support/service and 0 communication after they take your money.

Getting a hold of customer service regarding the status of my refund has been extremely frustrating. It's been over a month, and I have received no response despite multiple attempts to contact them by phone, text, and email. The lack of communication and support is unacceptable. This has been a very disappointing experience, and I will never purchase from this company again.
