Absolutely terrible customer service, speaking to other staff in front of clients in another language. Made to feel stupid when the website clearly states what documents are required to submit. Im sure there is a scam to make sure everything applicant has at least one document missing so they can charge extra fir printing and then charge another appointment fee because it took so long . 4 hours total. Way to long to wait. For what is meant to be an exciting tourists trip for a holiday you need to submit ridiculous amounts of personal information. Which we had photocopied and made sure we had everything on the check list. To be told that the travel agents itinerary was not detailed enough and we need to have Hotel names addresses and phone numbers by dates checking in and out . Ferry details, ports of call and dates the ferry stops and connecting plan flight tickets between countries. This needs to be issued by travel agent! Out of control power trip just to go visit as a tourist. We use a travel agent so the VFS should know that client statements and itinerary issued by them should be enough proof! Try and deal directly with embassy is my advice. Money making scam. Speak english staff!

FACIAL VERIFICATION KEPT FAILING , submit button not working, passport image upload kept failing, it is the dumbest system ever met

Awful. Everything about the user experience is vague, obtrusive and confusing. The app locks you out for trying to use the service more than once. There is no clear information on when appointments are released.

The consulates need another solution as they are losing out on countless opportunities for tourism to their country by the company not being able to meet the requirements.

Managed to get an appointment for a long stay to try and attempt to switch to a short stay however that was impossible.

This is the worst company ever. for more than 6 months no single Amsterdam appointment. This company is a joke. Why don't you list your calendar up and allow users to decide. I will wrote to every embassy you do business with to complain. Fraudulent company

I have applied for reissuance of lost oci with vfs. Extremely frustrating experience. Both time denied by
vfs stating I have applied at wrong jurisdiction. Well they directed me so. I gave my best shot- 100% at it. Could not have done better.
Also they did not refund my application fee. Kind of blackmarketing.

In short they apply 3D policy of delay, deny, or defend. They would not do things they are suppose to do ethically. Something fishy is going around it. Hell on earth. God forgive them. One day they will pay in God's place.

Worst experience ever, for certificate recognition in UAE, no support, no contact. They send different emails from different people giving different feedback about the process. Thank God they are not allowed for certificate recognition any more.

Such inefficiency! Many staff members walk around, but only a few are actually working at the counters. We waited over an hour even though we had an appointment. After finally getting the paperwork done, we waited another hour to have our fingerprints taken. Now, three hours have passed and we are still waiting.

Staff at the Houston office was friendly and professional.
But Website and customer service is a nightmare.
Customer Experience site is not accessible, gives constant an error message.
Calling to customer service about my passport tracking status refers your to write an email. But no response to my emails (several times reminders sent) so far about the application tracking. Very frustrating and disappointing.

​Watch out for the hidden financial scams at this VFS location! They are tricking visa applicants into paying an extra ₹450 for a third-party medical package called "Welcome Cure."
​The staff member told my family member that the application couldn't be submitted without this payment, and then tried to smooth it over by lying that it would be refunded if we didn't use it. UK tourist visas do NOT require medical insurance or doctor consultation packages.
​It is incredibly unprofessional for an official visa processing center to use dishonest, high-pressure sales tactics on people just trying to submit their paperwork. Unethical, deceptive, and completely unacceptable. Do not let them force you into paying for these fake mandatory extras!

Similar to other reviewers regarding trying to obtain an appointment to submit a visa application. The system locks you out for various reasons when attempting to book an appointment, it constantly states appointments are not available at present and to try later. I stayed up all night to see if I could catch an available appointment - no such luck. This morning an available appointment cropped up - I completed the information and it then said no appointment available. We have all the documentation, trip booked and paid for but no opportunity yet to simply submit the visa application/documents. This is stressful and tiring - I’m in my sixties and do not have so much energy for this!

The staff is so polite helpful and kind.They brief us so softly and satisfies all the questions. I am really greatful of them.

Horrible customer service. They send automated messages for any request or question. The number they provided on their website is a paid 800 number that requires a credit card. When you try calling that number, it says that it’s a scam number, I am surprised that a company like this is allowed to operate in the US.

VFS Mumbai delivers World Class Frustration overall and in each and every aspect. I am an immigration consultant and I have the worst experience with them since many years. From pressing applicants to buy 3 months travel health insurance through VFS - while German statutory HI is in place - to deleting personal VFS accounts after paying the visa fees. Naturally without giving the chance to book an appointment. Plus everything mentioned in the reviews on this site. I wonder how such performance can be tolerated by the Embassy.

This is the most corrupt wing of the extremely corrupt Indian consulate. US government must put the Atlanta Consul General of India in Jail for corruption. These people give so much hard time to their own citizens, and that too when their salaries come from donations given by Indians in USA and their families survive on money from people in USA.

Very disappointing experience with VFS Global. Their service needs to be much more transparent.
Last week, my mother attended her UK visa biometric appointment. At the appointment, the staff told her there was a "system error" and claimed they could not find the payment she had already made for the document checking service. They asked her to pay again.
Fortunately, she had kept her payment receipt. After making her wait for around 30 minutes, they finally confirmed that the payment had in fact been received. If she had not had proof of payment, she could easily have been charged twice.
While we were there, it appeared that this had happened to several other applicants, and some people reportedly ended up paying again. Whether this is due to poor systems or inadequate staff training, it is unacceptable and causes unnecessary stress to applicants.
My advice to anyone attending a VFS appointment is to keep all payment receipts and carefully check any additional charges before paying. VFS Global should improve its systems and ensure applicants are not asked to make duplicate payments.

I don’t have enough negatives to try to explain how this sham of a business operate. The sooner it’s closed and the owners are in prison the better.

Douglas Adams's "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" features the Vogons, a race of officious and callously bureaucratic space aliens. VFS Global fits that description as well, but unfortunately, this firm is not a fictional one. Their online application system, which one must use to get a tourist visa for Brazil, is beyond opaque. When something goes wrong, the customer is not made aware of what went wrong. The system just keeps sending on endless loops to nowhere. The firm does not clarify when asked to do so. They send additional sets of instructions that border on the nonsensical. They are, however, quite good at getting the customer to fork over more money. Having visited over 60 foreign countries over the years, I can say that getting a visa to visit Brazil, using Brazil's chosen vendor VFS Global, is one of the three worst experiences I've had in this type of transaction. The other two involved a theocracy and a notoriously corrupt pseudo-democracy. Good luck.
