I was scammed out of €100. I contacted Vinted Customer service and having waited almost 2 weeks no reply at all. Terrible website, never, ever again

Upon trying to sign up for Vinted, as per usual you put in your sign up details. Seems like everything it going according to plan, however, when I fill out all of my information I am struck with a ban instantaneously. The ban reason was for fraud, I can’t give much info over the app in general, because you banned me. However, it’s not like your guys history is any good either. I won’t get into details, but just to let you know, I know what you did. We all know what you did. “We investigated ourselves, and found we were not guilty.”

With all due respect, we want real answers.

Have lost two from two items that were resent . No info just a bot who refunded the item and gave me nothing in return

I just joined Vinted and I was looking for some boots. I found these really nice ones so I decided to offer for them. I then bought them. Then the day after that I got permanently banned for no reason. Literally the only thing I did on Vinted that day was offering for some boots, I didn’t even list anything!!!?? Then I appealed and I saw that it takes 5 days… Awful especially since they can’t even tell me what I’ve done wrong?!! Anyway these stupid boots haven’t even been posted yet and it’s past the deadline. Awful experience. Sort your website out and don’t just ban people because you be feel like it.

Truly awful company to deal with. Try to get your money back after one of their delivery companies lose your delivery for the umpteen time is a joke. Having to wait weeks and weeks is ridiculous. If you must use them, don't spend more than £5 because you can't guarantee you'll get your money back.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. My account has been suspended repeatedly, my listings have been removed despite providing proof, my appeals have gone unanswered, and completed sales have even been canceled. It feels like sellers are treated as guilty before anyone actually reviews the facts.

The moderation system is inconsistent, there is virtually no meaningful customer support, and getting a real person to investigate your case seems nearly impossible. If you’re a serious seller, think twice before using this platform. Vinted needs a complete overhaul of its customer service and account review process Accountability, how to act with manners the whole bit it’s asking me when I experienced this. It’s all the time my site suspended more than it’s not and I sell used clothing. Give me a rest. This is a joke. They’re trying to say you posted the name wrong or it’s not authentic why would I post a non-authentic side of give me a break such a scam of a nightmare I’m not talking pocketbooks. I’m talking clothing. They’re trying to say you have non-authentic clothing like I’m here making fake clothes and they just decided it’s fake and you’re blocked that’s it. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s a power control joke.

I put Hugo Boss t-shirt for sale for 7 euro,which I buy in Boss store in Germany. Everything go fine but after 2 days I want reduce price because noone want buy but my account was blocked for selling fakes. Are you serious ?! I will never ever will be selling on this shi**y app

I tried setting up an account for selling on it, won't take my eircode for my address. My husband setting up an account, finally got it set up. Went to try and upload my first thing to sell, pair of trainers. They ban the account. I've wasted so much time, taking pictures of items to sell. Absolute joke of a site. No wonder there's so many bad reviews!! Also impossible to get in contact with vinted about my issue.

I tried adding my Irish Eircode because its a requirement but the platform wont recognise it. I tried contacting customer support and uts non existing they took weeks to come back to just tell me my ticket was closed absolute joke of a company.

This is unacceptable. My friend and I opened a brand new account and it was permanently blocked for "fraudulent activity" after only 5 hours! We only uploaded a couple of basic, everyday items (a globe and confetti). There is absolutely NO fraud here, just a broken automatic algorithm that bans real users.

We immediately filed an official appeal in English, providing all the requested explanations, but we have been completely ignored for days. The customer service is non-existent.

Check our case and fix this mistake immediately!

Customer service very slow to reply. Buyer protection serves no purpose but extra earnings for Vinted.

Vinted is great for sellers but as a buyer if you get sold the wrong thing or if anything goes wrong its a disaster, The irish site is linked to the french site. I got sent a duvet cover when I ordered a sheet - or so I thought. the seller insisted I pay the return postage and said it was a mistranslation "Drap lin" was the title of the listing and google translate - which vinted used consistently said I was buying a sheet. She said in the description it was drap Housse couette. "drap Housse" is a fitted sheet. "Drap Housse couette " doesnt translate. Vinted said I had to pay return postage so it wasnt worth my while returning. Beware !

I have already written a review but this is a follow up vinteds ai auto messaged whatever the hell it is is awful no support no help no BUYER PROTECTION what I pay. I am so angry it has been 2 months since I ordered the item and then received the wrong item I spent money out of my refund 7-8 euro to return it to the French person for them to report the item when they are so clearly trying to scam me of course an ai robot doesn't see that get real staff I've waited 2 months for my refund which isn't even full anymore its around 125 euro. Incase vinted haven't noticed 125 euro is a lot and I will never use vinted again if that scammer of a seller gets my hard earned money. I will never use vinted I will tell everyone I know to not use vinted. They have now said they will take 48 hours to respond to me, I will be waiting.

My account was blocked because my genuine bag with receipts and lables from the designer was deemed fake.
My account was frozen, I can not read my messages and can reach no one at Vinted other than the automated system.
I cannot access the over €100 for things sold before I was summarily banned!
This company do not operate under Irish law and seem to be Teflon.
Do not touch it! Even Fair Trading in Ireland could not help as it’s out of their jurisdiction as a Lithuanian company.
Their legal department in Lithuania does not respond.

I’m currently getting scammed after returning the item to the seller since it didn’t live up to the ad and he’s saying he hasn’t received All the parts even when I showed proof.

Worst Customer support ever. I received forged and damaged product. Sent it back to the seller in within the legal timeframe but received an automated reply from Vinted that money were released to the seller. So I ended up without money and no product. CS is not bothering to solve the issue, sending just formal saved replies. Feel like been robbed now, looks like Vinted does not care about their reputation and customer satisfaction at all.

This app needs to be shut down! Full of scammers and con artists. Plus the AI customer service is horrendous. Advice to everyone - keep away from Vinted or delete the app. Not recommended.

Da ich bisher ausschließlich positive Erfahrungen als Verkäuferin auf Vinted gemacht und 50 Fünf-Sterne-Bewertungen erhalten habe, war ich umso enttäuschter, dass mein Konto unmittelbar nach dem Einstellen eines originalen Designerartikels gesperrt wurde. Die Echtheit des Artikels war anhand des Originaletiketts und der vorhandenen Merkmale nachvollziehbar. Dennoch erfolgte die Sperrung ohne eine für mich nachvollziehbare Einzelfallprüfung oder transparente Begründung. Ein kundenorientierter Umgang sieht für mich anders aus. Die zahlreichen kritischen Bewertungen anderer Nutzer auf Trustpilot haben mich im Nachhinein leider nicht überrascht. Ich hätte mir mehr Transparenz, Fairness und einen erreichbaren Kundenservice gewünscht.

Hätte auch nie gedacht, das ich mich mal mit einer negativen Bewertung gegen Vinted hier einreihen muß. Heute erhielt ich die Nachricht, das bei einer Sendung im Wert von 190 € ein Glas kaputt gegangen ist. Nun sollen mir die kompletten 190 € von meinem Konto abgezogen werden. Irgendwie unglaubwürdig die Geschichte, denn der Karton zeigte außen keine Beschädigungen und alles war meiner Meinung und sogar der des Käufers nach ausreichend gepolstert. Leider zieht keiner die Möglichkeit zur Klärung heran, das dem Käufer selber ein Missgeschick passiert ist und ein Glas beim Auspacken zu Bruch ging und man jetzt zwar nur noch 5 Gläser und Karaffe hat, aber kostenfrei. Vinted hält 190 € von meinem Geld zurück, obwohl der Käufer mit weniger einverstanden wäre, da er ja alles andere behalten darf. Was ist das für ein Kuh-Handel?
