Vertu Motors - Volkswagen Hereford Arvostelua 

Being over a four hour drive away I was sent a couple of well detailed videos of the van. When I went down there for a test drive, the van was just as described and Matthew and Darren were great to deal with.

First time buying a car from Vertu Hereford. Every part of the process from initial contact, to test drive, to purchase and collection all went well. India was always pleasant and sunny (even though she got soaked making us a video on the rain), and her openness and honesty (and lack of hard sell) was refreshing.

Great, really pleased with the buying experience.

From the first contact point with Hereford VW till collection of the vehicle was simple, straight forward and when the collection date had to be brought forward it was accommodated with no trouble.
The whole process was as you would want it to be, a friendly business like transaction.

I found a vehicle and asked for a walk around video, this was picked up within the hour and they were in contact straight away. A video was sent by the sales person Matthew and we were in contact straight away.

I part exchanged my car for the vehicle whereby I was given the price I wanted for it. Arrangements were made to come and see the vehicle and we drove the 2 hours down to Hereford.

It’s a busy dealership, but the vehicle was parked up and ready to be collected. We had taken our dog with us and the sales team were brilliant and looked after him while we completed the test drive.

I did point out some issues with the vehicle which I would not have seen on the video but that’s always going to be a risk. The sales manager did say they would pay for the issues which he was good to his word.

Upon getting the vehicle home and checked over another issue came up and both the sales team and the manager were spoken to. They once again agreed to pick up the bill and authorised the work to be completed.

I have to say the sales team are brilliant and their customer service is amazing.

Very nicely done by Katlyn who was professional throughout the whole process but equally importantly she was friendly, cheerful and very easy to get on with. She made the whole experience very easy and I felt very comfortable with the way the transaction was handled.

Really pleased with our experience of purchasing a new vehicle from Hereford Volkswagen. Katlyn was super, knowledgeable about the different vehicles we were considering and patient with our multiple test drives. Pleasingly she did not use the stereotypical pushy sales techniques that I find very off putting, but once we’d made our decision she offered us all the additional products available in a pleasant and informative manner.

I took my car in for a service on the 2nd December 2025 for a service. It was a 2hr whilst you wait service. It took them 3hrs.

Upon returning from a test drive they informed me there was a crack in the sunroof. A crack that was not there when I gave them the car. It's very visible from the drivers door upon opening and I hardly drive the car.

I only take it there to keep the service record up to date.

Upon requesting the walk around footage/report, I was refused.

I submitted a complaint with VW customer service in which they repeatedly requested the same report. They were also refused access to this.

Now, over a month later, Vertu Hereford claim they never did this report even though it's procedural.

Therefore I've been left with £2k damage, and shocking customer service. I understand accidents happen. Take responsibility and offer to fix.

My guess is, they went over a speed bump too fast or a pot hole. Either way, its damage that wasn't there originally.

I'm sure they'll respond with some generic 'please send us further information' to make it seem like they'll look into it. But the truth is for over a month now, they've refused to be helpful in the slightest and have made it clear they're not prepared to take responsibility.

Avoid at all costs.

Car servicing and repairs Hereford. Courteous but discovered missed gearbox servicing schedule . Could not diagnose a fault on two visits . Took car to local Nissan dealer who diagnosed and fixed straight away . Very disappointed with . Goodness knows what else might have missed or done wrong . Let’s hope I am not gonna suffer from those missed gearbox services .

I recently bought a car from the VW garage and had a fantastic experience. Peter helped me throughout the process — he was kind, helpful, and never pushy, which made such a difference. I felt completely supported from start to finish and had full trust in the whole system. Everything was handled professionally and smoothly. I’d definitely go back to buy another car and highly recommend this dealership!

Everything was super easy and Krystian was really helpful and informative. He made sure I got the best deal on my new polo and I love it.

I had been looking for a new Amerok for about 10 days ringing a few dealers close to me some not really bothered but 2 dealers would call me back once they checked stock, well 10 days later & not heard anything from them, I made a call Monday 20/10 spoke with Kieran told him I wanted to part exchange a car 1 hour later his manager (Darren) called me we did a deal there and then, Kieran kept me informed every step of the way and today 22/10 we collected our new Amarok, even though we travelled 3 hours to collect it I can’t praise these guys enough 5star service pity these other 2 companies don’t work like this.
All in all less than 3 days from start to finish.
