I had a very bitter experience with a driver who treated me very rudely and unprofessionally. So disappointed, never want to book a ride again.

DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT book a taxi with this company. My daughter booked a large vehicle 4 days in advance to get us on our way to the airport. When the time arrived, surprise, surprise NO vehicle, stranded, ALL FIVE OF US. No record of our booking and certainly no customer service to try and rectify the ordeal!! I repeat DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. If I could have given zero stars, I would have!!

Only rated one as i was unable to rate lower. Charged more than i was quoted on an airport transfer. Checked 3 times verbally the price and was told £84. They charged £91. I rang whilst on the journey and told i had to pay it. Use a company who do not rip you off like these. I will be escalating higher to trading standards and the council who issue their taxi/private hire licences.
This was from Luton Airport to St.Neots.

Absolutely appalling service – what is the point of pre-booking?

I pre-booked a taxi with Veezu, which was due to arrive at a specific time. The driver called and asked us to walk up the road slightly, which we agreed to do. We arrived at the new pick-up point within a minute, only to find that the driver had cancelled the journey before we even got there.

I then called Veezu, explained what had happened, and was initially told that a new car would be dispatched on high priority and should arrive within five minutes. After waiting around ten minutes with no car, I called again.

I was then told that, apparently, the booking had been made for collection and drop-off at the same location (it hadn't as I could see the booked journey on my phone) and therefore they would need to rebook the journey. I was told this would mean paying a new and significantly higher fare, despite the fact that the original journey had been cancelled by the driver and they'd failed to give me a replacement properly. I was told there was nothing they could do about this.

To make matters worse, the member of staff asked me whether I "understood" the situation in an incredibly patronising manner. I understood perfectly well what he was saying — the issue was that the situation was completely unacceptable.

The whole point of pre-booking a taxi is surely to have some certainty that a car will turn up when you need it. Instead, the driver cancelled on us, the replacement car didn't arrive within the promised timeframe, and we were then expected to pay substantially more to rectify a problem that wasn't of our making.

Absolutely outrageous customer service. If pre-booking gives you no greater reliability or priority than simply ordering a taxi at the time, what exactly is the point of doing it?

It is absolutely outrageous that when choosing the pre-booking option, there is no guarantee whatsoever that a taxi will actually arrive at the time you selected. What’s more, I paid a higher price than I normally would.
I very nearly missed my flight because of this. Absolutely disgraceful. I had no idea that the service now works like Uber.
Stay well away from this company!!!

1. The operators did not seem to know what was going on
2. All but 2 of the 7 taxi I ordered were late (20mins +)
3. Literally terrible I gave them 5 days notice on the order

This review is no reflection on the driver he was great. However I pre booked the taxi a good few days before my journey and it was confirmed for 6:20, I rang the day before to make sure all was ok, did the taxi turn up at 6:20 no. I rang and they said it would be another 20 minutes, I would have missed my train and told them this, they then managed to find another driver, if I hadn't of rung them I wouldn't have known it was going to be that late !!!! Why take a booking if you can't honour it. Very stressful start to my day

Bristol Veezu

I first rang at 1.25pm to order a cab to take myself and my daughter to the train station. I then rang at 1.43pm and the message said they were waiting for a taxi to be despatched to us. I rang again at 1.46pm to speak to a human and he said the drivers were arguing about who was picking us up?! We waited until 2.13pm, by which time we’d missed our train, my autistic daughter was distressed, and I was fed up. We got an Uber in the end, lovely driver and showed up quickly. I will never use Veezu again.

Awful booking system. Booked on app for 5 people, it clearly stated, we'll either send 1 large taxi or 2 small dependent on what is available. Waited, watching on app, time keeps getting put back. Eventually call, 1st veezu operator said no booking. Called again to another number, he advised no taxi sent as no 6 seater available. I said, but your app stated you'd send 2x 4 seaters, he said that wasn't made clear to him, I said but it's your website, your policy! Eventually sent 2 taxis, but we missed our train. Driver himself was very pleasant, no fault with him. But won't use again

Driver of BK20HNM on 27/08/26 at 10:45 chose to bully a learner driver from behind by sounding his horn when we were trying to find a safe gap to proceed at a mini-roundabout and then at a T-junction, then did dangerous overtake. Total idiot on the road.

Before they used to allow my friend to have card reader in taxi for payment and some of the operators were good and provided this for him; but now the first one we spoke to acted like I wasn't there when I had been talking to her very rude if you ask me and the next one was saying about a payment link which is not what we asked for, and he said payment up front as well very unprofessional so we have gone with a better company, WILL NOT be using VEEZU AGAIN for his taxi absolute joke of a company

I SUGGEST VEEZU USE POSTAL SERVICE. DRIVER YASIR SHEFFIELD. I left some cigarettes in his car on 19th July. I could still see his car when I rang them and he wanted to charge me £9 to come back. No. He still has my property as of 14th September and they want me to pay whatever amount from where ever he is, to get them back. He could be in London doing an airport run. I don't think so. This is a bad look for Veezu. I know many people that 'accidently' leave property on buses, trains, places and have NEVER been punished for doing it.

I also know two taxi drivers of 30+ years who always check for rubbish etc and wouldn't have left without handing my property back. Things aren't like they used to be.

John's Taxi picked me up from my home in Brampton to take me to Sainsbury's on 2 August. The driver drove steadily and was extremely polite. I would certainly recommend him.

Cannot thank them enough. Had a taxi booked for 4am who completely let us down so found a number for veezo and actually spoke to someone. Within 5 minutes taxi arrived & got us to Bristol airport in time😄👍

Downloaded the app. Booked a taxi from a concert in Earlham Park to our Holiday Inn hotel for 23.15. They finally allocated us a taxi to arrive at 00.05, a 50 minute wait in the cold and dark. Decided to walk the 2.5 miles and cancelled the hire. Have deleted the app!

I was scammed – charged for a taxi journey I never took

This was a scam.

I booked a taxi with Veezu Leeds to travel home from work. Before I had even entered the vehicle, the journey was started and the app began showing that I was already “on board”.

The route was then modified without my knowledge or authorisation. An additional stop/location was added to the journey at a place I do not know and have never requested. I did not change the route, add this stop or authorise anyone else to make changes to my booking.

The driver then travelled around while I was physically in a completely different location, before eventually completing the journey as though I had been picked up and taken to my home address.

I have screenshots showing my actual GPS location, indicated by the blue dot, while the vehicle was in a completely different area of Leeds. Despite the clear distance between my location and the taxi, the app stated that I was “on board”.

I was never in the taxi. Nobody authorised by me took the journey. I did not authorise the route change, the additional stop or the completion of this journey.

This was a scam: a taxi journey was started without me being in the vehicle, the route was changed without my authorisation, an unknown stop was added, the journey was completed as if I had arrived home, and payment was taken for a journey I never made.

I reported this to Veezu and provided evidence. However, I was told that, according to the driver's statement, the journey had been completed and paid for. I find it extremely concerning that the driver's version of events could be accepted when GPS and journey records should be available to establish what actually happened.

I am keeping all evidence, including screenshots showing my location, journey details, route changes and communications with Veezu. I will continue to pursue this matter and, if it is not properly investigated and resolved, I will report the incident to the relevant authorities and organisations.

My advice to other customers is to be extremely careful about automatically authorising a bank card for payment. After this experience, I would strongly recommend paying in cash or using a payment method that gives you greater control over each individual journey and makes disputed charges easier to challenge.

Please be careful and always check what is happening in the app. In my case, the app was saying that I was “on board” while I was physically nowhere near the taxi, and the route was modified without my knowledge or authorisation.

I expect Veezu to take this extremely serious matter seriously, fully investigate the GPS data, booking history and journey records, and take appropriate action to ensure that no other customer experiences the same thing.

Pre-booked a taxi from Shrewsbury train station. Before the booking time was due, the driver was able to mark the ride as completed, with zero communication to me. This resulted in £25 being taken from my account and a receipt for a journey being provided. Unlike reputable apps like Uber, Bolt etc, Veezu does not automatically refund you in this instance, I had to call up customer service and then fill out a form, just to be refunded money for a service that was never provided. I did receive a refund after 3 days but I should never have had to go through this process in the first place.

Booked taxi 3days in advance to collect 11.20 pm from lcr in Norwich with two local drop offs.didn’t arrive at all after 50mins of waiting&calling,to be told it was busy&we would be a priority.we eventually got a family member out of bed to collect us,it was very cold at midnight!having had a very lovely man collect us to the venue,we learned that drivers don’t have to take the run&can sign off(go home)whenever they please?!how is this a customer based business then if we had already booked?And it was not busy at 11.20 and definitely wasn’t by 12!very poor show,very disappointing

Booked a ride 3 days in advance to and from a gig in Norwich. 3pm pick up was spot on but the 1145pm return was an hour late along with many other people’s! Customer ‘service’ phone line were rude and not bothered about the customers they had let down due to over booking. Both drivers were excellent but the company is shocking- avoid !
