Vacuvita Arvostelua 

The Vacuvita system is fabulous. I am saving room in my freezer, and the things I freeze are staying free of freezer burn. I can save money buy buying and freezing prime meat cuts when they are on sale. And, the system is attractive!

But, in my opinion, the most noteworthy aspect of this company is its service. Initially, I had questions about food storage methods, and customer service rep Kasia was prompt, helpful and courteous. When I later had a problem with the machine, Kasia identified the problem, confirmed it with the product staff, and quickly processed a replacement order. Kasia has consistently been prompt (even to the extent of responding once, outside of work hours) and just so very nice to work with. She puts a great face on a great product and company. In a time when customer service, at least in the US, is often spotty - Vacuvita sets a very high standard for service and that standard is matched by the quality of its products. Thanks so much.

I purchased the Vacuvita Complete Kitchen package and two Complete Container sets from Amazon. I have to say I'm completely satisfied with this product. I store bread, fresh pasta and pastries in the base unit. I use the containers to store veggies, dried nuts, coffee, loose leaf tea and many other items. I also use a couple of the containers to marinade meats before cooking. The unit is solid built and for me works flawlessly. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to both friends and family.

We LOVE our Vacuvita system. The containers and vacuum bags are in constant rotation in our fridge and freezer. The system allows us to keep salad fixings fresh all week, and if you're very picky about how fresh your coffee beans are, you'll be thrilled with Vacuvita!

Got the white full set of containers. $299.99 for 5 containers and 40 bags is an amazing deal and works wonders with my Sous Vide. The only suggestion I have for the hardware perhaps is to make the cord for container and bag vacuuming could be longer. By no means a deal breaker. I love my unit, even bought extra containers and recommended to friends. Time to cook better and save more food!

I was in the crowdfunding supporters. I have to say there was a time I didn't think it would ever be a reality. So when I received it at the end of the year I didn't really get a chance to look at it until after the holidays.
Boy was I pleasantly surprised. I didn't realize the scope of the base unit. It is fantastic! I have put my bread, crackers and chips in it and it really keeps them fresh for weeks on end.
The unit also does a great job of vacuum sealing the bags for food that is going into the freezer
My only regret is in not purchasing the containers that go with the base unit. I now understand how much it would add to the set to have them.

I have waited with all the delays and redesign. Your whole team should be complimented on turning out a very superior Vacuvita System. The design is exquisite. I have now had the system for 4 months and have been using and checking what I normally use a vacuum system for. The results are beyond my expectations!
The size of the base unit is perfect for a bread and pastries. Pastries and donuts stayed soft, crisp, and fresh for days easier than my normal way of keeping fresh. The vacuum adapter and hose have been designed perfectly in my opinion. The hose had a slight split in the end where it connect to the adapter. I may have done it when I connected the adapted, but a piece of Scott’s tape wrapped around the end fixed the problem. The adapter worked on all zip-lock vacuum bags from other vacuum devices I tried. Your seal bags are better than other zip-lock vacuum bags, the seal stays sealed securely. I remove the Vacuvita adapter and plugged the hose into a Food Saver accessory adapter connected to their wide-mouth jar sealer. I have vacuum sealed some mason jars with dry ingredients and some homemade mayonnaise. Very pleased with the home base unit.
The small containers are a good size. I use to store blocks of cheese and small leftovers. The medium containers can be vacuumed a opened #10 can of dried food longer and fresher. The large container holds a large bag of potato ciips, tortilla chips, or other snacks. I put a small amount of water with the stem side of a head of lettuce in the large container and vacuum seal it to keep my lettuce fresh and crisp for over two weeks. The only problem I have with is large heads of lettuce push up on the vacuum valve in the lid and prevents sealing when vacuuming. Solution – cut out small hole in top of the lettuce for the valve and it vacuum seals.
Only cons I have is I would have liked the large container to be a 1/2in or 12mm higher to hold a head lettuce and I would liked to know what the oxygen levels are reduced to after the vacuum sealing process stops. I could not find that in the manual.
The Vacuvita is wonderful system and I would recommend it to anyone. The customer service was always was pleasant and helpful during the development. They replied to my concerns and questions quickly and professionally. Thank you for your all work to deliver a great product.

First and foremost, let me tell you that I am a relatively new owner of my system --- and I LOVE IT AND USE IT MULTIPLE TIMES EACH AND EVERY DAY.

I have told ALL of my friends and family about the wonders, benefits of, and impeccable design of the system. Without hesitation, I have most definitely included the highlights of the AMAZING customer-focused experience I have previously had the pleasure of working with your customer service team on only one occasion -- a simple thing that I could have solved myself, actually.

To give you an analogy: I feel as though I am the only one in my family, circle of friends, and neighbours who is the first among all of them to obtain a telephone on the wall, one of the very first to have a television, or a moving gas-powered automobile instead of a horse and buggy! When friends, family and neighbours come for a visit or a home-cooked meal, we always start our evening in my kitchen as I am still cooking or they want to share in the preparation of the meal. Let me ASSURE YOU that nearly every one of them, now upon entering my home, goes straight away to the kitchen and to my beautiful Vacuvita System! My true and closest friends know without question that they may even bring ANY item of food from their very own home and experience first-hand my Vacuvita System and I gladly let them!

At one dinner party/gathering, we had to relocate the system and group to the coffee table for me to give a full-on demonstration, as the kitchen would no longer accommodate the number of folks who needed to see it in action! An in-home demonstration accompanied with beautiful wine, hand-cooked food, accompanied by wonderful friends, and YOUR system being the complete center of attention — simply MADE the evening. I LOVE my VACUVITA TO NO END!

More people need to get on the "Vacuvita Bandwagon".

I have the home base and love it. It is stylish, effective and quiet. I have been keeping my bread and pastries in there; lasts so much longer. I live in a desert area and things dry out over night.... not so with the Vacuvita. I also have used the bags for Sous Vide cooking. Works great

We received the vacuvita as a gift.
Without any previous experience with vacuum storage I was sceptic about its use. But learning about its possibilities by using it for all kind of purposes made me enthousiastic. Storing bread, crackers, and cookies, but also marinating meat and freezing food: it works very well with the vacuvita. Its functionality combined with a beautiful design makes it an essential part of our kitchen now of which we think: wish we could have discovered it earlier!

At last a high end vacuum device. I have a lot of uses for it. bread, cookies, potato crisps, everything stays nice and fresh in the homebase. in the containers we store leftovers and food prepping. I tend to make a lot of soup and pastasauce in the slowcooker and store this also in the small containers in the freezer. this is ideal for busy work and schoolnights. I have a very strict diet so I have to make everything from scratch, this vacuum machine makes life a lot easier.

I had a great experience with Vacuvita! I absolutely love their Vacuum Food Storage System! The system will be saving me so much money now that I won't be wasting and throwing out food. Definitely consider purchasing Vacuvita if you want foods to last longer and fresher!

I wanted to use this for awhile so I could leave a review that represented a true feel for what the Vacuvita is all about. For the most part I have liked this product but there have been some disappointments. About 50% of the time we have to attempt to remove the air multiple times before it will finally "catch" and do what it is supposed to. In the beginning I thought we were doing something wrong but when it works correctly we are doing the same exact thing as when it doesn't work. This can be very frustrating.
I also thought I would be using it more than I have. We do use the base consistently for bread type of items.

I am not sure if I would be interested in the product for the going rate that one would have to pay. I think it is convenient when it works.

Highly responsive customer service with an aim to please! There is nothing nicer than seeing a new small company that provides such superior customer service. Will definitely be doing business with Vacuvita again (I'm thinking I'll get more containers, in a different colour).

I was one of the original backers of the project on Indiegogo, so I waited almost 4 years to receive my complete kitchen package. In my previous experience with funding these type of projects, I was ultimately extremely disappointed in the end product.

However, upon receiving the product and using it for more than a week now, I am beyond thrilled with it! It really features everything as promised by the initial campaign and MORE. During their development process, they've managed to include two additionally helpful features: the translucent stripe on the containers and the QR codes. The product is super easy to use, I was able to use it plug and play even without reading any of the instructions provided. Its intuitive, it's beautiful and its functional!

As other reviewers have mentioned, the packaging of this product is SUPERB! It's indeed "Apple" level- it's as if Apple designed and made it themselves.

I encountered a mistake with receiving the wrong coloured package-however, Kasia, a customer service rep, has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND, even taking time out of her personal life, to rectify this situation, all the way from Europe. This is just amazing!

I can't wait to order more containers as having this device has encouraged me to eat more fresh produce!

great way to save the freshness of your bread and other items...works great for the single person who needs food to last longer or the family who buys in bulk.

the design also is "modern" so looks good on your counter.

I bought 2 of these Vacuvita machines and their accompanying products. They are really beautifully designed. The accompanying boxes are good, about a 9 on a scale of 1-10. They are hard to get used to, as they are so different than what one generally has on hand, such as Tupperware. I DO WISH that Vacuvita would create an even smaller container box. Not all families are large and some of us produce small leftovers.

Now to the machine, this is very disappointing and I really hope you folks have an answer for me. I use one unit to put crackers and anything other than bread into. Works great - love it. But, we love crusty, very high quality bread that goes for $8/loaf or so. When I put this bread into my Vacuvita and it does it's suction thing - it appears to remove all of the lovely "crustiness" from my bread! Sure, it does not go stale. But it is no longer any good either (the bread that is). I use the bread box according to direction. What am I doing wrong? I hope you have an answer. My husband hates these Vacuvitas..

I really like this design as it fit the needs to prepare and preserve foods and food aromas to other foods such as fruits and veg. I'd prefer for all my foods to have their individual flavour bringing the dinner plate to an aromatic effect around the table. Every taste to its own. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

I received my shipment of the Home Base, 1 large square container, 2 medium containers, and 2 smaller containers (plus some vacuum bags) the end of November.
1. The packaging was just about Apple (computer) calibre. It would have survived quite a drop.
2. The manual (in English) was very well done; well illustrated, well spoken, quite logical.
3. The workmanship was without flaw; the plastic parts looked polished without sharp edges. Everything fit precisely (really important with vacuum seals.) The containers have taken several trips through the dishwasher and look like they did the moment I unpacked them. The external vacuum hose (for the containers or vacuum bags) looks like it will give several years' service before replacement.
4. The design was very well thought out. The vacuum flaps on the lids of the containers are virtually foolproof (as long as you keep them clean.) The silicone seal between the containers and lids looks like it will last a few years before replacement. The pressing-the-release-button on the Home Base process is ..... elegant !
5. Functionality - I LIKE IT ! I use up two one pound bags of Trader Joe's almonds per month. (1 light salt + 1 smoked) In the past, by week number 3, ( even though the bags were closed with a clip,) the nuts were starting to get a little "tired." Each of the small Vacuvita containers will hold a 16 ounce bag of TJ's almonds. Now those nuts always taste like the day I first opened the package. I like to purchase either a fresh baked ciabata or a baguette on my weekly shopping trips into town. They would last a day on the counter/fridge (without toasting) or maybe 3 (as toast) if I wrapped them in plastic wrap. Now they go about 6 days still in their original paper bags inside the Home Base. I have not tried freezing anything yet inside one of the containers - although I did seal a flank steak in a vacuum bag in December. I assume it will be OK when its "Spring Thaw" comes, if only for the reason being that ALL the air (and probably its shadow as well) were sucked out before freezing. I'll come back here and let you know if it didn't work.

I LIKE IT, my hands are on at least 4 of these containers each day. They use their space in the refrigerator much more efficiently (going into a square shape with a square shape.)

This is an excellent product and highly recommend it.

Vacuvita's customer service is excellent. They not only corrected the problem in a timely manner, but also went out of their way to make sure that I was completely satisfied. In fact, they did more for me than I could have expected. I wish that customer service at all companies would be as good as this.
