I bought the complete package during the crowd funding. I remember it took a long time for the company to finally deliver the product, and then my house was going through remodeling and etc so it took another year for me to finally put it into test.

The design......can't complain anything about it. Just a piece of art. The design, shape, and the choice of colors are very well implemented. The opening/closing is very "star-trek" and always make visiting friends impressed.

I placed 5 very ripe pears I bought from Harry-and-David into the homebase, taking out one-a-day to eat. They all tastes fine and didn't go bad. For that part the machine is doing its job.

The containers work pretty well too. I've used it to marinate some pork chop, and it did the job.

The bags is what I use the most, and also the one that gave me the most trouble in the beginning. I can't seem to find the "sweet spot" so the air can be drawn correctly. Took about a day of learning curve to finally get it right.

If I have to nit-picking about things.....The suction hose's plug. It is not very intuitive and I've misplaced the plug a couple times when I use the hose, and each time it was a pain to find it. I felt the plug could have a string attache to the homebase so itd be just hanging on the side when the hose is in use. Samething for the hose and attachment. Maybe there could be a "pucket/dock" on the side/back for easy replacement.

All-in-all, very impressed with the machine. I have one more test that I haven't completed yet. Im intending to leave a bag of frozen pork in the freezer for a couple month and try to defrost and consume and see how it is. Will report back on the experience.

The Vacuvita is a quick and silent device. I like the quality in every detail. Opening the lid sounds like in a scifi movie including the delay before the lid opens.

The bags work perfectly when you hang them over the edge of the table to deflate. The containers are also of high quality and well thought of.

The only downside might be that the price is on the high end.

Would have been 5 stars, but waiting 4 years on this product ate away one star. As the Base system goes, it is magnificent, reliable, but a tad loud.
I love how it looks, and it works like a charm :-)

This as an amazing machine and we are very happy to make some room in our kitchen for it. It is of high quality and is easy to use.

Kasia with Vacuvita customer service was 100% responsive and helpful for the problem I was experiencing. The problem was diagnosed quickly, a return arranged for my base unit, and a new replacement is on the way. I am so happy with the Vacuvita system, and the freshness and economy it adds to our life. I could not recommend it too highly before my experience with customer service, and now am even more happy with the company and the product.

We love our Vacuvita. Super easy way to store and vacuum seal your foods. We inadvertently had vacuumed a small amount of liquid into our home base. The unit then stopped working properly while trying to vacuum bags and containers. The instructions clearly tell you not to do this and how to avoid it. After corresponding with the Vacuvita customer support about our issues they quickly sent us a new unit. What a pleasant surprise to have the unit replaced even though we were most likely the cause for the malfunction. Thank you Vacuvita!!

Vacuvita is an outstanding system for extending the life of your food!!! We've been using the system for about a year now and it definitely works. Bread that used to last a few days now lasts a couple of weeks!

Customer service is also fantastic!!! They are super responsive to questions and even follow-up with you to make sure you are happy. I highly recommend this company and system!!!

I have been amazed at how much food I've been able to not throw away because of the Vacuvita system. It is so easy to use, clean and maintain. I don't have to worry about burning myself on a sealing system as it uses vacuum with its containers and bags. The customer service is the best I've experienced as well. When I had a problem with my system, they worked with me to find the problem and replaced my defective home base very quickly. I highly recommend this vacuum food saving system for every household.

El producto excelente!!! Pero tuve un problema, se filtro liquido de un queso y dejo de funcionar!!!, he seguido todo el instructivo y aun no puedo abrirla! No funciona!!!!
Estoy muy frustada! no puedo creer que no funcione el sistema de apertura manual!!!
