Be careful when signing up, you might think you are just navigating the app, but you might be signing up for other “offers” “programs” “subscriptions” without having to approve the payment.
The app is not a “game” as it comes off in their advertising, it’s a habit tracking app with some talks, which might help down the line, not sure.
The support team is great to resolve issues, Sam was very helpful.

I would highly recommend this app if you’re trying to quit drinking or cut down on it because the Customer Service with Nick was excellent and he went above and beyond to help me out.

I opened this app once and purchased a PDF plan. I cancelled the subscription after my first $49 charge and noticed I have been getting charged since!!!!

Disgusting APP - unlike normal professional apps there is no opt out/cancel subscription instead you have to send an email that may or may not be manned at any given time. The website has no ability to sign in and manage your account. Avoid this app at all costs - YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I am writing to formally report unauthorized charges and request an immediate refund.

After purchasing an Ultiself subscription, I was unexpectedly charged two additional times while simply navigating your website. At no point did I intend to make further purchases, and the interface was misleading, as I was charged by clicking what appeared to be the only option to proceed away from the page.

This is unacceptable.

I request the following actions immediately:

A full refund for the two unauthorized charges
Confirmation of cancellation of any and all active subscriptions under my account
Written confirmation that no further charges will occur
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the issue through my bank/payment provider and file formal complaints on consumer protection platforms.

Please treat this as urgent and confirm once resolved.

Charged after confirmed cancellation - not visible as Apple subscription

I requested cancellation and received written confirmation from Ultiself that the cancellation process had started and that no further charges would be made to my card.

Despite that, Ultiself.app charged my card again.

This is especially concerning because the subscription does not appear in my Apple subscriptions. My Apple purchase history only shows Ultiself as a free €0.00 app download, while the actual charge was made separately through Apple Pay / Apple Wallet.

I have not been using the subscription and now have to dispute the charges with my bank. I have also contacted Ultiself again requesting a full refund and written confirmation that the subscription is cancelled.

I will update this review if Ultiself refunds the charges and confirms that no further payments will be attempted.

Update: I have now emailed Rebecca, Head of Customer Support, directly at the address provided by Ultiself in replies to similar billing complaints. I included the cancellation confirmation, bank charge screenshots, and Apple purchase history showing only a free €0.00 app download with no Apple-managed subscription.

I am waiting for written confirmation of cancellation, refund of the charges made after cancellation, and confirmation that no further payments will be attempted.

Although the initial interface was a little daunting, I soon got used to it. I used the app to help curb my drinking and it was successful. My drinking has reduced substantially. I didn’t think it would be so easy.

I had an issue with an automatic renewal I didn’t want. Contacted support, and Nick responded within hours. He canceled my subscription, issued a refund, and even upgraded me to lifetime access. One of the best support experiences I’ve had with any app. Thank you!

Unless you want to keep getting charged after you cancel your subscription, DO NOT purchase this app. I canceled and received a charge after canceling. I contacted the company thinking their customer service might actually be helpful and they basically blamed it on Apple and said they couldn’t help me.

SCAM. They somehow charge me $50 per month via Applestore, despite there's no such an app anymore on Appstore.
Just blocked my card and raised a dispute with my bank.
Be aware and NEVER touch it.

THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT TOUCH THIS APP. They are billing me NZ$150 per month without my authority and there is no way to cancel. Their automatic email responses are weird and showing up in Arabic script. I even cancelled my debit card to stop them, but they managed to charge me again on my new card via the Apple app store. I have now cancelled my card again, lodged a dispute through my bank and Visa, and the merchant link to the Apple store has been removed. DO NOT TOUCH THIS APP IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM!!

I am thankful for such a wonderful experience with the Ultiself app. It became my friend, my alarm ⏰️, my mirror, my notebook ect. Due this app I became more calm, organised and self friendly.
