I don't recommend this company
Paid for a Luba mini 2 amd.
When trying to set it up there was an issue with getting the unit to connect with the app.
After hours, and I mean hours, with customer service/ technical, it became clear the main board was faulty and not engaging. Fair enough these things happen.
However, in order to get a replacement, despite sending detailed pics and videos to determine the failure, the company's position was that I needed return the unit before they would send a working one.
A week after purchase I am still awaiting them to arrange a pick up.
So my recommendation is NOT to deal with this lot. Having spent £1400 I am left angry and disappointed.
Great customer support
Great customer support - issue with the charging points was resolved quickly with full customer satisfaction.
Highly recommended
Awful customer support
I bought a LUBA mini AWD 1500 directly from Mammotion in May. The mower is impressive in some respects, but its obstacle detection and navigation have been dreadful in my garden.
It has destroyed mole traps, two sprinklers and a hose, costing £86 to replace, repeatedly driven through dog mess, become stuck on tree rings and borders roughly every other mow, whilst sometimes navigating them well and required constant manual intervention.
That rather defeats the purpose of buying an autonomous mower costing over £1,000.
I contacted Mammotion within 30 days and asked to return it. Mammotion confirmed in writing that my return request was within the 30-day period, agreed to provide a full refund and said it would cover the return shipping.
As I otherwise liked the mower, I tried to find a reasonable compromise that would allow me to remain a Mammotion customer. I asked whether I could move to the LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500, which retains the same 1,500㎡ capacity but adds LiDAR and improved navigation features that appear directly relevant to the problems I have experienced.
What followed has been one of the most incompetent customer-service experiences I have encountered.
Mammotion support has variously told me:
1. Return the mower for a full refund and place a new order.
2. Continue using it and pay the difference when the Mini 2 becomes available, with a free cleaning stand. But I have to buy the new one and they will refund me but can’t say when.
3. Send it away for repair. But no explanation of what’s wrong with it, and only suggested on email 5.
4. Sign an agreement allowing Mammotion to provide an unspecified replacement if the repair takes too long.
6. Return it for a refund and repurchase at full price.
7. Accept another unit of the same original model, carrying only the remaining warranty, despite the issue almost certainly being the firmware.
The proposed resolution changes every time someone replies. Each person replying is apparently unable to read the email you sent or the chain.
I submitted a formal complaint and repeatedly asked for it to be escalated to a manager. I also asked seven very straightforward questions:
1. What discount would Mammotion offer against the Mini 2 AWD 1500?
2. Would it reimburse the £86 of damage caused?
3. Would the cleaning stand already offered remain included?
4. Could the exchange be arranged without leaving me waiting for a refund before ordering again?
5. Would my original £50 promotional discount be preserved?
6. Would the replacement receive a full new warranty?
7. Why had my repeated requests for managerial escalation been ignored?
Mammotion has answered none of them.
Instead, I continue to receive generic template responses that appear to have been written without anyone reading the previous correspondence. My formal complaint has been ignored, my requests for a manager have been ignored, and nobody appears willing to take ownership of the case.
Their latest response now offers another mower of the same model, despite previously confirming that I could return mine for a full refund. They require me to send my mower back first, provide no meaningful timescale and state that any replacement would only receive the remainder of the original warranty.
Based on the experiences reported by other owners, I have very little confidence in sending an expensive mower into an open-ended repair or replacement process when Mammotion cannot even provide a consistent written explanation of what it is proposing.
I have tried repeatedly to reach a sensible commercial compromise. Mammotion could have retained a customer who was broadly positive about the underlying product. Instead, its support team has turned a product complaint into a complete loss of trust in the company.
Prospective buyers should understand that the mower may be clever, but if anything goes wrong, you could find yourself dealing with contradictory template emails, ignored complaints and no discernible route to anyone with the authority or inclination to resolve the issue.
At this stage, I am giving up and taking the full refund Mammotion already agreed and buy from another manufacturer (if they actually read my email and don’t send another generic template).
Mammotion is unreliable and has very poor customer service
Mammotion produce a very attractive robot mower that simply fails to deliver. Despite more than a year of malfunction, breakdown, return for repair, I have a useless waste of £2600 and a very poor experience of their customer service. I am now on my second cycle of return for repair, I have experience of offers to replace that have turned back into return for repair. Despite the machine not having worked at all in 2026 with hours spent trying to get through to a human being, I have been offered two sets of blades amend an extension of 3 months to a 2 year warranty period during which I have not had an operational machine. Be very careful before buying. Attractive as it is and brilliant when it is when it does work, it is simply daylight robbery to take your money and fail to deliver a reliable and effective solution to cutting the grass. Right now I can make it work manually if I follow it around with my phone steering it - but honestly, I can use my petrol mower much more effectively!
2 orders placed, with same address - 1 with robot doesn’t exist
2 orders placed, with same address - address with robot doesn’t exist (apparently).
Clearly the address exists as they are identical. Emailed 4 times, no reply. Called and fobbed off. They have my money, i have no robot.
Received an email back today, from Vicky, saying they are waiting for the original order to come back so they can re-ship it. Hell no! this could take ages, send one from the factory!
I called and they said they can cancel the order (refund will take 5-7 business days), then re-order (5-7 days to re-ship). That's 2-3weeks from today, when I should have received the original order yesterday.
Just go to the factory and re-send my order. Joke. This company is a joke, use another brand.
Mower Never Delivered, Poor Customer Service Throughout
I ordered a Mammotion YUKA Mini 2 800 on 22 May 2026.
On 27 May 2026, the mower was out for delivery with DX. Later that day, DX marked the mower as delivered and recorded it as received by another name. However, the mower was never delivered to my address. No delivery attempt was captured on my doorbell or security cameras, no signature was obtained from me and no parcel was found at my property.
I reported the issue to Mammotion immediately on 27 May and contacted DX directly. DX advised that Mammotion, as the sender, would need to raise the investigation.
What followed was one of the poorest customer service experiences I have encountered.
Between 27 May and 10 June, I cooperated fully with every request made by Mammotion. I completed a Non-Receipt Statement, corrected documentation when requested and responded promptly to every email. Despite this, I repeatedly had to chase for updates and answers.
During this period:
• Mammotion advised that a replacement mower would be arranged.
• I was later told the replacement could not be dispatched because stock was unavailable.
• I repeatedly asked for updates and timescales but did not receive clear answers.
• I submitted a formal complaint and requested escalation, yet no manager ever contacted me.
• Different members of the support team provided contradictory information.
• Despite Mammotion being fully aware that the mower had never been delivered, I was at one stage instructed to return products before a refund could be processed.
The biggest issue was the complete lack of ownership of the case. It often appeared that responses were being sent without reviewing the history of the matter. Questions were left unanswered, information had to be repeated and progress was unnecessarily slow.
Only after I opened a PayPal dispute did the matter finally begin to move towards resolution. Mammotion ultimately issued a full refund on 10 June 2026.
Delivery issues can happen with any company. What customers judge is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In my experience, Mammotion's customer service, communication, complaint handling and overall management of this issue fell well below the standard I would expect.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase anything from Mammotion again and would not recommend them to anyone.
Lawn never looked so good!
Bought a LUBA 2 5000 toward the end of season last year. Used it from the start of this season and the main lawn has never looked so good. Previously had a ride on mulching mower but the LUBA beats this hands down. Used every 2nd/3rd day while growing and tried various settings and the result is all good. Just remember to check for dog poops before use and its all on auto!
Very helpful customer service
Good product and cery helpful customer service
£2k mower arrived and is not working
£2k mower arrived and is not working, mower showing disabled.
After a couple of days of technical escalation with no resolution I have requested a refund. No UK number to call.
We went with the mower for speed because it doesn’t need boundary wire installation but will buy a Husqvana instead. We were happy with our last Husqvana and it ran well for many years. This one can’t even get up and running.
They are not prepared for European…
They are not prepared for European sales, they are not capable of B2B sales. They probably do not have an EU tax number.
My Luba 2 stopped working in April
My Luba 2 stopped working in April. I contacted Mammotion for help via Chat and email. They were very slow to respond and since then I have been going around in circles repeatedly supplying the same info and carrying out the same fault finding steps.
Now the June 7 and Mammotion have still not picked up my mower for repair.
Absolutely non-existent customer service!!
Next step legal action.
In fairness when the product works its good but completely let down by customer service. Be very wary buying a mammotion!!
Excellent product
Excellent product: can’t recommend enough. Well done.
Illegal EU plug and no customer support
Purchased a mower off the official mammotion UK website and it arrived promptly however it has come with an EU plug.
The following day a package arrived with an EU to UK plug adaptor.
This is completely illegal in the UK and either has to come with a UK plug or a fixed conversion plug that can only be removed with a screw driver.
Mammotions response is that I'm fine to use the adaptor and EU socket in my outside waterproof UK plug, erm, no as it won't fit.
So I emailed as I want an actual solution.. And boy are they slow.
24 hours to reply and say they're investigating.
Another email sent and a response the next day stating it's been passed to another team to investigate..
I've emailed again regarding returning it completely, I'll probably get an email tomorrow.
No way to return it on website. No way to get live help. No UK phone number.
I'm currently in live chat, it got transferred to a human 2.5 hours ago and no one has responded to me yet.
I can't comment on the product as I haven't used it and won't be until I know it's UK spec and safe.
For an £800 piece of equipment I really expect a better level of service than what I am experiencing.
This isn't a one off either, there is a Facebook group and multiple UK customers receiving these with EU plugs, some have accepted it and others are trying to get a solution.. At least they sent an EU to UK adaptor for me as a fair few others they didn't even send that.
Don't buy direct from mammotion but instead if you want one of these then find a trusted UK supplier.
My mower went wrong over a month ago
My mower went wrong over a month ago. Contacted Mammotion via live chat and email only to be messed around with no solution. I’ve just received another email saying thank you for your recent email please have 24 new blades as compensation. No good having new blades on a mower that doesn’t work. I responded saying this only to be ignored again. I’ve never met a company that is so hard to get hold of somebody and get a problem fixed spent over £800 on a new mower only worked for two months can’t get hold of anybody to rectify the problem. Do not buy from these people.
Customer service is appalling
Customer service is appalling. Sent my mower for repair 3 and a half weeks ago under warranty.
Still not repaired, and what is worse they are totally unhelpful, refuse to give me return date (even after 3 1/2 weeks), refuse to supply a replacement mower and refuse to issue a refund.
Speak to customer service and they will say they will get back to you - they don’t. They seem to have zero interest in customer service. I have no option now other than to invoke consumer rights act.
Based on my experience avoid this company
Update 5 weeks has now passed. No mower. No return date. No real information except “just wait”. I am starting to believe that I will never see my £800 machine again. I am now having to resort to legal action.
Nightmare. AVOID THIS COMPANY because it has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Bought a Luba mini AWD 1500
Bought a Luba mini AWD 1500. Worked well for 2 weeks, then they updated the software, since then it simply does not work, tried the help centre chat several times, they keep telling us that we are a priority case, technical support will contact us within 48 hours. Doesn't happen, no-one contacts us.
Also there is no UK call centre number, you have to call Germany or elsewhere if you actually want to talk to customer services !
Really Really disappointed with this, should have bought a different brand.
Not charging
Had a no charge issue. problem diagnosed and parts arranged quickly. No fuss. Exceptional customer service on a Friday evening.
Thanks very much A++
I LOVE my Mammotion Luba AWD BUT...
I LOVE my Mammotion Luba AWD - it's an amazing piece of kit. I'm complaining about the reward points system.
I was awarded points for buying my mower, and I was so impressed I encouraged a friend to also buy one. I understood that I would be awarded some points and I duly went to the Mammotion website to check out what I could do with my new points. There was lots of information about how to earn points, but nothing about how to redeem them (this was summer 2025), so I put it to the back of my mind.
Fast forward to today when I received a message from Mammotion encouraging me to redeem my points. I found to my delight that I was now able to access an area allowing me to get something back! However, when I tried to redeem these points, I couldn't even get a set of blades or some gardening gloves. I then discovered that last week, 2500 of my points had expired. That's half of my points. Why, exactly? Is it not good enough that I should have benefited Mammotion with over £5,000 or custom?
To say that I'm disappointed and frustrated is an understatement. I suggest they give up offering points and just give straight cash back. It's a far better customer experience.
You've managed to make one extremely happy customer into one deeply disappointed and frustrated customer. Well done Mammotion.
I bought a robot lawnmower from Mammotion…
I bought a robot lawnmower from Mamotion around six months ago, and overall I’ve been extremely impressed with both the product and the company’s customer service.
After six months, the mower developed a fault. As soon as I reported it, the response was incredibly fast and professional. I returned the original machine, and they sent out a replacement almost immediately. That level of service really stood out to me.
To me, this shows a company that is genuinely willing to stand behind its product. If faults were common across all their machines, this kind of quick replacement service would simply be uneconomic and unworkable. My experience suggests they have confidence in what they sell, and when an issue does arise, they deal with it with real integrity, speed, and without unnecessary hassle.
When the machine is working, it works tremendously well. Compared to previous robot lawnmowers I’ve owned, this feels like a major step forward in both performance and usability.
For me, great service is often the real test of a company, and Mamotion passed that test brilliantly. I’m very appreciative of the support I received and would happily recommend them.
I've owned a Luba 2 5000 for 3 years…
I've owned a Luba 2 5000 for 3 years now and am very happy with it. It is *not* a conventional mower and one does need to read the book of words, watch the many videos on the 'net to ensure you get the best out of it.
Once set up, it is brilliant - saves *so* much time and effort. I'd say it's the best garden tool purchase I've very made.
Why only 4 stars? Well, customer support is not the best unfortunately. This is a complex & costly product and it would be nice to get 'next day' support, especially whilst under warranty. They are getting better and hopefully my rating will go up to 5*!
