I somehow accidentally changed the address on my driving license via this service. I thought that I had gone through the .gov site, but apparently I did click an agreement that it was a third party service.

I very much appreciate that UK Road quickly and easily cancelled my subscription and provided me with a refund. I would just say that if - like me - you use your driving license only for identification, I do not believe that the additional services offered by a subscription to UK Road would be useful, and would recommend simply using the .gov website.

I also feel that UK Road could make the fact that you are signing up to a subscription, not a one-off payment more obvious - I was in a rush when carrying out my address change, and did not notice that I was signing up to a subscription.

Took two payments one unauthorised,contacted them and got an Email stating they would not take anymore money,but continued to take another 6 payments,have put in the hands of the fraud team in the bank,avoid this company and just use the DVLA.

Further to my previous 1 star review - I am happy to upgrade this to a 4 star based purely on how the customer service team dealt with my complaint. Initially, it was a - 'You signed up for this, it clearly states terms & conditions that you are setting up a subscription' (it does not, didn't even see the direct debit logo). Following my 1 star review and complaint to the company, they have agreed to refund my 2x£39 subscriptions. This happened quickly and with little fuss.

Beware the poor marketing, I renewed my license believing I was doing so through the DVLA, then found it was not and have been charged £39 a month for the last 4 months!!! Unacceptable and I feel I have been scammed.

This website is one of a number which offer free DVLA services but charges you a monthly subscription for them.

What I think is most important to note is that ALL (bar one, who received a full refund) FIVE STAR reviews have no feedback history with other products, plus there is the exact same feedback from two different people which is obviously sloppy. All of the negative reviews are from people who have left reviews elsewhere.

TOTAL SCAM - As others have said, I thought I was on the DVLA website, paid £39.99 to change licence details, one month later they then take another £39.99 and there seems to be nothing you can do about it but cancel further payments. Bank won’t refund as they say by putting card details in, I have automatically subscribed. THIS IS BLATANT FRAUD

This company is committing fraud. Please report them if it happened to you as they need to be stopped

Beware like others who have commented I used their services which was fine but somehow you appear to get duped into agreeing to a £39 a month subscription fee without any confirming emails or correspondence

Be careful of this company. Somehow they have managed to take money from my account, when I didnt ask to be signed up for a subscription. I dont own a car so I wouldn't need the service they say they provide. Ive contacted uk road for a refund and I am waiting on a reply. Also reported it to my my banks fraud department.

I moved home and I wanted to change my address on my provisional driving licence. I filled online application form thinking I was on DVLA website. Not knowing that this company has created similar websites like DVLA. They changed me £39 and set direct debit subsequent charges every month £39 without my knowledge. Meanwhile, changing your address on driving licence is free. Please, please, please, stay away from this company, they are bunch of thieves and scarmers. I can't believe a company like this can continue to scam customers in the UK and get away with it. Please, stay away, don't be a victim.

DUPED!! Like other people on this site I was duped into thinking this was the official Government website. I've already reported this fraud to my credit card company and hopefully will be able to stop the payment. Please BEWARE these people are scammers and should not be misleading the public and taking their money under false pretences!!

Scam. Same story as may others as I can see. Charged me once for change of address pretending DVLA and charged me second time for signing up for membership which I did not.... Scam and robbers. Will be reported to bank and to DVLA.

I see other people have fallen for this scam too. Moved house recently and wanted to change address on both our driving licences. Thought I was on the DVLA web site and ended up paying 2 x £39 to these people! Thought it was expensive but was only when they charged me 2 x £39 again the next month I realised what was happening.
It's not at all clear you're on their webpage and not the DVLA and no doubt that's done for a reason.
They don't send a confirmation email when you "sign up" because they don't want you to realise what you're getting into. Very underhand.
Buyer most definitely beware.

I have had a £39 payment taken from my account by this company, I have no idea why or who they are. I have emailed them.but no one is replying...I assume I've been scammed but how do I stop them taking more payments.

Feel like I’ve been robbed by this company! They dupe you into believing you are in a dvla website then sign you up for a subscription that you receive no confirmation of. I’m lucky my credit card company blocked 2nd payment as even they think they are fraudulent company!

I accidently signed up to this service but they were kind enough to refund my payment when I explained that I had joined in error.
