Robbing company.

I didn't sign up for this. I have no idea how they started taking £39 out of my account. Phone number is not on their system so cannot cancel online.
It says I have now cancelled but still not received an email confirmation. A complete con. No money returned either.

Had £39 go out of our account, apparently my wife has signed up but she has no recollection of doing so.

I had never heard of this company, signed up for their services or received any services from them. They have taken £39 from my bank account for several months until my bank alerted me that this was potentially fraudulent. It is a complete SCAM!

I didn't realise until today that when I went on DVLA gov website to change my address on my driving licence that it was a third party I spoke to. They didn't explain who they were and changed my address but charged me £39.00 in December 2025. On the 1/7/25 my bank rang and said uk.road.com had tried to take £39.00 out of my account. Did I no who this was, I said no i didn't so they put a block on it and wouldsend me a new card. I came off the phone and didn't think anything else untillthis morning 02/07/25. So I look thorough my bank statement and saw not only did uk.road.com take out £39.00 in December last year but have been doing so for the last 5 months. Please be careful not to fall for this. I rang DVLA up and they said they dont charged for address changing this is why id rather talk to someone on the phone than go on line to do a simple thing.

100% SCAM. This scamming business should be closed down and owners jailed. Been taking £39.00 off my credit card a month for which I did not authorise, or entered any agreement for the services they claim to offer on line I have no requirement of using either.

Absolute scam! Don’t use. Was changing address on what looked like an official site and have unknowingly been charged monthly subscription.

Bunch of scamming gits. I just wanted to change my address on driving license, inadvertently signed up to this bunch of scamming gits thinking it was DVLA, thank goodness I saw them on my bank statement. £39 “membership “, don’t even have a bloody car. Absolutely useless scamming dicks.

What can I say about UK roads . It's prooly maintenance that they have to keep ripping up the same road over and over again. Sometimes roads and lanes are closed but nothing is happening and you see maintenance people just sitting in there van's or sleeping and wasting our and tax money on what. Look at dubai . Japan China Singapore America Europe and most countries have a road layout that doesn't need to be dug or anything doing to it . But what can you say about British motorway and roads are a shambles. All you road maintenance companies need to fix up. Will put this forward to the house of Parliament regarding not to fund most maintenance companies as they don't do the job well and we need a well set company for maintenance of UK roads and motorways. Sorry to say but this is ridiculous.

Hidden subscription. Just changed address on licence and realised they scammed me out of £40/month for 5 months.

These guys are scam artists hiding behind algorithms and clever website design. I had the misfortune of coming across this lot in December when we had moved house and I started updating my address on all my accounts. I used them to update my drivers license. Like a lot of others, I fell into the trap of clicking on their T&Cs which insidiously signed me up to a monthly subscription without any confirmation or an email outlining what I'd signed up for. They took payments of £39 from my CC every month until last week when my bank identified the payments as fraudulent, contacted me, blocked my credit card and stopped the May payment from going through. Is it legal? Probably. Is it morally bankrupt for these thieves to insert themselves into position to siphon money out of people's accounts who, let's face it, they know are unwittingly ticking a T&C box to avail of a one-off service? Definitely. It cost me £195 in total to have my driver license address updated. This morning my bank returned the money and are now raising a case against these fraudsters. I hope others do similar until they change their entire business ethic or some government department with any sort of interest in protecting the public, close them down.

These had check to withdraw try to £39/month and for what!!!!
A absolute joke

I inadvertently signed up to a subscription to UK-ROAD to change our addresses on our driving license last Nov 25 due to moving house, we were really stressed as it all happened very quickly and we were going on holiday first 2 weeks in Dec and didn't realise until after Christmas that we were paying a monthly subscription I was sure that I had done this through .GOV this company does not make it clear you are signing up to this!
We have only been refunded one £78 for both of us but were charged for 4 other which we were not refunded!
we feel totally scammed and being retired can not afford to lose this type of money.
Why would you subscribe to change a driving licence!
would not recommend using this service to anyone!

Would not give them even 1 star but to make people aware they have been taking money out evey month without my knowing cosent. Though it was a official goverment site to change my address on driving licence but unaware it was a subscription .

This company is crooked. I never agreed to a monthly account yet they have taken money from me for several months. I have of course cancelled the account which I never agreed to.

If you are like me you will only be reading this once you have been tricked. Like a lot of others I was mislead into thinking I was using a DVLA service to update the address on my log book

UK-Road.com may offer a genuine service which people want to use however they are very good at deceiving people, gaining their data and taking their money.

I have worked with computers/internet etc all my working life and have taken part in many cyber security training courses. I consider myself to be computer literate and aware of scammers and tricks. I am disappointed and feel stupid for falling for UK-Road.com tricks.

They purposely make it difficult to see that they are collecting your data and taking your money, pretending to be an official government source. I received no confirmation that I had signed up to their service so was unaware until I noticed that they had taken a second payment and I then spoke to my bank.

This type of business practice should be illegal!

I also used these thinking it was dvla site I even emailed asking why I was charged 39 when it is meant to be free they have had nearly £160 out of my bank I have a car on mobility so I would NEVER SIGN A SUBSCRIPTION for this as well as not being financially able to AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS
