For some reason I'm not able to use the remaining $54 on my gift card. I call the customer service and I just get the run around. Honestly, it seems like they don't know what to do. I was told in order to access this money, before I use it I need to call for the balance. I told her the recording says that I will be charged $.25 every time I check my balance. She said that recording is incorrect and I will not be charged. This was a red flag to me because why would a company say that but she told me that was incorrect. I also asked, why would I need to call in for my balance when I know what the balance is. She said this activates the card again and then I could use it. I also asked what was the pin number that is set up for this card because the card keeps declining. She said to use credit. I reminder her that I said I already tried this and my purchase was still declined. She spoke over me and said JUST US CREDIT!! This sounds weird and I am waiting for a supervisor (Charlotte Russo) to call me back to actually help me.

Update 4/17 - I received a call back FINALLY and she was able to explain to me that their system is out of date and provides incorrect information to customers. For this company to have this issue for over 3 years is unacceptable. They need to fix their issues as other gift card companies do not have these issues. She was very rude when contacting me, however, by the end of the call we had an understanding. She didn't apologize once and felt the issues within the company were acceptable. No one should have to call the gift card company in order to "activate" the card in order to use it. It's also unacceptable to tell customers they will be charged for checking their balance/activate their card all because the company doesn't' want to pay to fix their recording as it will mess up the whole recording. I appreciated her transparency as it provided more insight, however, this company is not good. She was able to unlock the card for 7 days, I am not sure why the woman I spoke with before leaving a review couldn't do this. I have used the remaining balance on the card, and I am glad I am finished with this company.

Mobile Klinik bought my phone from me and gave me one of these cards. Absolutely garbage. Card won’t work. Either you can’t get ahold of anyone or when you do they say “we will look into it and call you back.” And no one ever calls you back. $480 gone. Ridiculous. In the end tru cash was not the ones who fixed this, only after mobile Klinik pressed and pressed the issue did they finally fix it. I never ended up speaking to a true cash employee except when they called me about this review.

Delta Hotels gave me this card instead of food. It was for 85$. It did not work so I had to use my money to get food. I have now activated it to see that I have 0$ on my account. They said there was NOTHING I could do. Pretty much they stole 85$ from me. I just want my money back.

I got a prepaid card for a 150 dollars from a resort and I was able to use it several times but now the card isn't working and it has a balance of 69 dollars on it. I wasn't able out to reach customer service about the problem. I'm not really sure what's going on with this company but the issues need to be investigated.

Received this $50.00 cash gift card from GEVC Vacation Club. I have called several times to activate, download the app and still no funds after 3 trips to the gas station. Via app funds are listed but Card does NOT work. Very embarrassing…. Finally got through an agent and they said their system is down and to try again an hour later via app. Again, app says $50 available. 2 hours later card still doesn’t work. On hold again waited 15min. and got sent to an agents voice mail and asked to leave my info to get a call back in 24hours ridiculous. On hold again let’s see if I get the run around again.

If i could i'll give 0 starts. They charged me 0.25$ to now my balance. I have try several time to check via the app however it isnt working.

Haven’t been able to use my gift cards for several months! They ignore my emails and respond and they literally don’t know what to do and claim they will talk to their adviser worst company I’ve ever seen f this company honestly

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I haven’t been able to use my card in almost two months, I’ve been sending emails and leaving voicemails and these people won’t do anything about it. It’s like they think I’ll just give up and forget about the money on my card that I haven’t been able to access in 6 weeks. They’re just ignoring every single email I send; I have a huge chain now of me begging for help over and over with maybe 3 or 4 replies from them a MONTH ago. Don’t use this awful company, their customer service is non existent.

Worst customer service. Very frustrated and feel scammed. My problem began the end of November and to date still not resolved.

This company is very sketchy! I sold my IPhone 13 to a Mobile Klinik for over $300 CAD. They gave me a VISA/TruCash card.

After less than one month of using the card, it stopped working...I called and emailed their customer service line at least every day for two weeks. I received no response.

Finally, I called the store I received the card from and they gave me an unusual number. The lady was very unprofessional for someone who is representing such a large and "accountable" company. She practically shamed me for trying to use the card so many times, when it declined so often (what was I supposed to do? stare at the card like an idiot?).

Eventually she helped me and said the card was ready for use. Moral of the story, you have a higher chance of selling your phone on Facebook or Kijiji and it being less sketchy than this place.

Would not recommend at all! Save your time and stress levels people.

I purchased 3 cards from Toronto Pearson Departures Lounge Terminal 1, to the total value of $700 USD to use on a business trip. Non of the cards worked whilst on my trip. I am now told via email to get a full refund l have to go back to the original place of purchase. I am not planning on travelling in the near future so how do l get a refund.

I have $1,300 of these cards and after calling and getting the run around for a couple of months I have only been able to spend a small portion of that amount. “TruCash” is more like “ FakeCash”..

Customer service has replied to my review and are working to fix the problem.

I have been dealing with TruCash for over a week now. My card was declined at the ATM as well as merchants. I decided to just do a ACH transfer to my bank the money was taken off my card and I got a confirmation email from TruCash. The money is still not in my bank account. I called my bank and was told no transfer is showing on their end at all and that it must be on TruCash's end. I have been told multiple times someone would call me back and they did not. The last call they said they were emailing a supervisor about the issue I asked to be copied on the email and I've yet to get an email. It should not take this long to figure out what the problem is. The company I work for pays bonuses on this card so I worked for that money and I should have access to it! I have talked to several people from our team and they are having issues with their card as well. Very frustrating that they can not give me any answers. There is always a paper trail. The company I work for will be making changes in who we use.
Update: TruCash has put the money back on my card so I can withdraw it at an ATM. I also received an email from TruCash. Thank you trustpilot.com for the platform to voice our concerns. I wish I could have given positive feed back instead of negative.

Terrible experience -- this company is likely making a fortune by making it too difficult to use this card and having customers give up. I received this card as a $50 gift, activated it and used about $30. Tried using my card later and was declined twice; checked my balance online AND phoned customer service to "re-activate" it. Customer service said it would work next time I use it. Tried using it again today and was declined. Phoned their number from the store and was on hold for over 40 min and gave up. Called again from home and after waiting 30 min, the service rep said that I had to activate my card online the same day that I was going to use it. Guess I'll try that and see what happens. And to think someone paid VISA to give this card to me. Strongly NOT recommended.

This company is a complete scam. Received a card yesterday and can’t use it. It declines when using it. Called a number given to me and the representative was extremely rude and nasty. Called the number listed on the card and it is also a scam. Just rings and no one picks up. You can’t even register this card online. I plan to go to the news to put this company which is a scam on blast. It seems this is how they operate based off of the reviews.

It took three weeks to get the card to work. They locked it because I tried to use it online which it doesn't day you can't do. Then when used at a POS terminal that defaults to debit unless you just don't enter a PIN it gets locked again. Costco is a good example of that. After more than 1/2 dozen emails I finally got a friend with a small business to process it using their Square reader but I had to reimburse them the Square charge so I lost $3 of value. Of the 30+ gift/rebate/rewards cards I have ever used this was absolutely the biggest pain in the butt to use.

Tried using my card at Sam’s, Walmart, restaurants pet stores ect you name it, I tried it, call CS 3 time they say card is fine and active, what a joke this company is,

This card is awful. It worked the first day, December 28th, and then has declined everywhere since. The number on the back of the card just rings and rings. I would like my $200 back please

Been calling for a month, waiting for 2 hours a day, sent emails, and no reply.
My pre paid visa cards will not activate, that's $50. Give me my money!
Do date, ( Feb 22, 2023 ) still waiting to be able to use my cards.
Edit. I have replied multiple times. Even got replies back but all communication stopped Feb 10th 2023.

Worst card and service ever. They take your money and don’t put it on the card.
