Absolutely terrible scam. I got a card as part of a vacation promotion. My initial card somehow wasn't active, so they sent me a new card. Then somehow my balance wasn't transferred to the new card: red flag #1. Apparently that has to go through someone else, they don't have control: red flag #2. Due to being close to expiration, I requested they get me a new card, which had to be requested through someone else again: red flag #3. I called back after 10 days and apparently my new card request was approved, BUT I have to wait because the cards at the warehouse were damaged. Seriously?! Oh, RED FLAG #4. What a joke.

I'll admit that the people I've talked to have been nice and willing to "help", but they are clearly educated on how to get you to think they are doing something to keep you happy enough or until you go away. I suspect my money is gone at this point, or I'll get it back with minimal funds due to apparent fees for new card requests, which were none of my fault. They have zero control over what they are doing and are some kind of in between.

Terrible! Be careful! My $50 gift card was stolen by $10. The transaction history shows I totally spent $40 but the remaining amount is $0. I called them 3 times with 4 weeks, the first time they say they will send me a new $10 card, but till now no card was sent out. It is too bad not only the customer service, but also the card is not safe--it means there is a back door so that a business can stole the money! ---Your money is not safe! For the small bonus card, it is easy to find the problem. How about the big cards? So be careful, keep checking the balance!!!!

I sold my iPhone 15 plus for $520 at a Mobile Klinic location in my local mall because it was convenient and felt safer that selling privately on Facebook marketplace. Mobile Klinik completed a full diagnostic on my phone and when it cleared gave me a TruCash prepaid visa with $520 on it and asked me to wait 48 hours for the card to be activated. After 48 hours the card did not work so I called customer service to inquire about my money, all the agent could do to help me was tell me to wait another two days and if it's not fixed call back. I've called back every two days since to escalate the matter. That was just under 2 weeks ago and still no money. Today after discussing the matter with a friend who is a 30 year police veteran I filed a fraud report with my local police, and consumer alert reports with the BBB and my local media (CBC, CTV) consumer relations investigations departments. Depending how investigations go will determine next steps. Do not trust Mobile Klinik or TruCash.

Received a $140 gift card from a business as a Thank you. Thought it was used error but then realized the issue was with the card itself. I have called 6 times, they have me a ref. # and said they would would have it resolved in 10 days. On the 6th call I was informed that it is being EXPIDITED....and still no progress on being able to access the funds that are mine. The card will expire May of 2025 and I think this is a SCAM to keep the money. I am reporting them to the BBB also.

Scam! Card doesn't work. When calling the customer service, no help... Rude! called for the last 3 weeks to get my card working to use my OWN money but no help, nothing is resolved.

TruCash does not appear to honor their card and customer service states their system is down when my card was not accepted.

I have been calling customer service since a month and everytime I am told somebody will call me back to address the issue and nobody does! What a scam!!

I have a $150 USD Visa Gift card..Everytime I try to use it, the card is declined. This, is the 2nd card with the same issue, as the 1st card was already replaced and it still has the same issue..Its getting declined. I am really frustrated now. If you cannot provide me with a working card, kindly mail me a cheque for $150 USD.

Customer agents are horrible..When asked about timeline they are shouting at me saying they dont know its not their job!

I am officially thinking of starting a lawsuit!

Received as a cash back from phone trade in. Cards are annoying and hard to use. Rejected in multiple attempts. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS VISA.

Four failed attempts so far where I regularly use my credit card:
1. This does not work as a tap card at local drug store
2. This does not work as a card for my amazon account
3. This does not work as a swipe card at my work food court
4. This does not work as a payment for a school trip payment processor

I have logged in to the trucash.com web site and see the balance is $x.

scam scam scam... stay away --- will just waste ur time over and over --- no one takes the card--- was sent a replacement --- no change --- calling and getting help they just say anything to get u off the phone and give u the run around and tell u its not activated or someone bought the company and would send me a new card etc. been dealing with this for over a ear since oct 2023 trying to get $50 prepaid gift card used... UPDATE... I replied to their email as they stated and still no fix/update... I was on leave when this 'deadline' of a few days to reply was put up... still stay clear of these people....

Was given a card as a reward. Card was activated, used a small portion of the balance. Tried to use it a 2nd time, declined. Called and rec’d a replacement. Activated it. New card with balance, declined. Called and was told there wasn’t an issue with card that the rep that activated it, failed to activate it. Tried again and took 1/2 the balance. Called again and they told me I had no balance. My records show I have a balance, they won’t do anything about it. Can’t even speak to a supervisor. NEVER PURCHASE a try cash card. This has been on going for about 1 1/2 years. 10/24 was last decline

Good customer support and faster service.

I received a TruCash prepaid gift card for attending a timeshare talk in Las Vegas in 2023. After registering the card and trying to use it, and it being declined on several occasions I reached out to TruCash and was sent a new card in its place. I registered that card and I am still having the same issue with it being declined for online purchases and in store purchase.
I truly believe, these are SCAMs and a way to get you to participate in these time share talks, knowing that these cards are not going to work and they will not have to pay out for your time as promised.

I received a TruCash card for $50 at TIME Share event. I activated the card via the app as stated on the card. It showed a $50 balance. A week later my husband attempted to use the card at the grocery store and it declined. I went back to the app and the balance is ZERO! I looked at the transactions. On the 21st of April there's a deposit of $50 from TC A2A. From the 24th to the 25th, there's a bunch if $5 transactions from TC A2A until my balance was zero again. I called to try to figure out what happened. I chose "stolen card" because clearly *someone stole the number and drained it. Instead of connecting me with an agent as I expected, it simply locked the card. Seems a little bit fishy that the same company who deposited the money is the same one taking money out.
