Their interface saves me a lot of time transcribing video and audio. The voice recognition is quite accurate even with less than perfect audio and appears to be improving all the time. It works best on Chrome however and not as well on Firefox (at the time of this writing).
Whenever I've had a technical glitch even due to things like network congestion, their customer service techs were always on it and quickly provided me a timeline or a solution.
A special shout out to Sam for her diligence, knowledge, and great attitude.

They have an excellent AI based transcription product. It's very easy to use and navigate. Their file management system is the best I have known. But above everything else, their customer support service is fantastic! They have a brilliant turnaround time and are willing to go beyond the call of their duty to help the customers during crunch time. Sam from Trint has really helped us out many times with all sorts of product, pricing and billing related issues. Glad to have chosen them for our transcription-related work.

Trint has been a life-saver for me. Over the past year I have gathered nearly 100 bits of testimony from friends and colleagues of the late jazz saxophonist Michael Brecker, who's biography I am currently writing for Globe-Pequot Books. In January of 2020 while attending the Jazz Congress at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, I got a tip from a former editor about your service. Up until that moment, I was planning to proceed with all the transcriptions the same old laborious way that I had done on previous book projects. But I took that tip and have discovered that Trint has cut my transcription time in half...maybe more! Of course, I have to go through and clean up the Trint transcriptions, a process that reveals some great bits of unintentional humor in the misunderstandings ("try a little of this" becomes "triglycerides," or "Mike and Tronzo would be at these meetings" becomes "My trusty trouser would be in the chair" of "Stanley Turrentine" becomes "Stanley turned 18"...), but it really has helped me stay on track with my work and, hopefully, meet my deadline. Thanks!

Trint is an excellent website for any non-native speaker or people with difficulties in hearing. It is for sure that Trint is in the top list that I shall recommend to anyone who needs a reliable transcribing service.

Incredibly easy to set up and use. Highly recommend for filmmakers!! I used this software for editing documentary interviews and it sped up the process tenfold.
The software was really accurate and was able to transcribe words that I couldn't even hear clearly when playing the audio file. The editing software was great and gives an automatic playback so that you can check for accuracy on any adjustments you make to the transcript.
They also have an option to pause your account when you are not transcribing for only 10% of the subscription cost, really useful for people like me who don't transcribe irregularly.

I love Trint! As a non-fiction writer and filmmaker, I have do a LOT of interviews. Transcription has been one of the most time consuming and least enjoyable aspects of my research-heavy process. Since I started using Trint, all that time spent transcribing myself is now freed up so that I can devote myself to the creative and rewarding aspects of my work. I find that I still need to go in and copy edit / proof read for errors, but I had to do that when I was forced to do all the transcribing myself anyway! Having the ability to click anywhere on the text and have the corresponding audio play back is a dream. And I LOVE the new transcription plan options. With the volume of audio I typically work with (hundreds of hours on one project alone) the pay-as-you-go model was somewhat cost prohibitive. But with unlimited uploads for a reasonable monthly fee something that I really REALLY liked, is now something I'm IN LOVE WITH!

I really do like the program.It is fantastic and I was just about to gear up for much more usage for myself and recommend to other other "small players" like me, but then I see that, as some have noted, they are going to freeze out the little guys to go more corporate. That's too bad. The explanation given was "We created the plans to remove the barriers between our users and their work. We believe our new plans offer more value through unlimited access to the platform and not having to think about how much is uploaded each month".
Well, why can't TRINT allow the users to decide if they want to do the difficult work of figuring out "how much is uploaded each month" and the value of limited access? That is just corporate-speak for we are going to do this and make more money. TRINT can't tell us that they couldn't have kept the "pay as you go" option along with the unlimited usage options as well. Disappointed. This was a great product

Its hard to give an accurate assessment of Trint. It had become an indispensable part of my working life. Its quick, accurate (to a point) and really handy. BUT their recent ejection of pay as you go customers in favour of big corporate accounts only means that freelancers like me are ruled out entirely. Fortunately there are other services available that do just as good a job.

Massive price hike without warning. Now I have unused minutes I can't use as will need to sign up to a new and more expensive plan to finish the transcription I need. So in effect I have lost money using trint. Avoid. What a shame. You WERE good.

I already emailed Trint a week ago, but until now they haven’t got back to me with anything! Not even a single reply!! Can you please settle my case. I deserve my refund! Your service is terrible!

I waiting for a another competitor to come around. After working for hours, Trint goes down, and I have to start again... LOST every thing because it didn't save it. Wonderful... I'm on a deadline.

Made an account to access a free trial for trint but didn’t get notified about the payment on the last day until I was billed and sent an email through the support system but want to know when I’ll get a response and or I’ll actually get a refund

You didn't inform me about the last day of the trial. And now you just took my money without information.

The support reached out to me and canceled my subscription as well as refunded the money.

previous issue:
I started the free trial, unsubscribed and STILL GOT BILLED!
Even worse, I contacted the support of trint and got no help at all. James (from trint) replied once - not helping at all, then never again. I wrote several mails to trint but they did not respond neither refund my money.

Test your files before subscribing and you won't be disappointed.
I used Trint to transcribe a series of recorded interviews in American English. The software was pretty accurate for the interviewees (their audio was recorded by a professional sound recordist.) The Director who was conducting the interview was not wearing a mic and was sitting too far away from the sound recordist. The AI software obviously struggled with his questions as the transcript was so much more accurate for the interviewees but sometimes quite nonsensical for his questions. I knew that this would be the case before I started checking the transcriptions so I was not disappointed. AI is not 100% and I think perhaps people need to experiment with the software and their original files before subscribing to ensure that they have a realistic expection of how it works. If you have good quality audio it works brilliantly!!!
I encountered a few problems with the audio buffering and there is no out of hours support. This is clearly stated so I pressed on to find my own solution and realised that a simple page refresh fixes the buffering problem. If you are new to the software make sure you have a good play around with your files during normal hours!
In conclusion it has saved me hours and hours of work so I am very happy.

It is absolutely ridiculous that they do not have a working customer service phone number to easily contact!!
Only email which seems very inefficient and can easily be missed, which I'm sure is their plan.

I was given no warning notification for the renenwal of my trial plan and saw that I was charged. I immediately cancelled my plan as soon as I saw that!

I only used this app once, and the results were terrible and completely inaccurate!!!

This is very upsetting and I hope I actually get contacted back for a refund and am not just being scammed by whoever is running this shady business!!!

Definitely not worth $60 at all. Please save your money and never use this awful service/company!!

I found the transcription to be about 75% accurate. Exporting and editing were easy enough to do but the greatest thing that stood out was the customer service. I had "Sam" help me and not only did I get a response immediately, it was extremely helpful. There were a few other issues I had moving forward and every step of the way, she was there to help.

Trint: Pay Sam more!

Honestly a game changer for me. I don't know how these guys do it, I looked them up. They are in the UK and I believe they are using some sort of artificial intelligence. Amazing product !
