Smiths Carpets and Flooring Arvostelua

We wanted to replace our carpets on the first floor landing and change the fully carpeted stairs to a runner. Several visits to what you would describe as "national stores" led us to look at local businesses with great reviews. Hence our choice to use Smiths. From checking out the website to visiting the shop it's quickly apparent that Trevor and the team are the experts with strait talking advice and options to consider. Within a month we had everything taken care of with a great product and service. Professional, very competitive pricing and a job done really well. Many thanks

Overall, we were happy with Smiths Carpet. The service we received when visiting the showroom was great - the team were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the selection process.

The fitters were also very impressive; they clearly took pride in their work, took their time, and ensured everything was completed to a high standard. Their professionalism and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, the experience became less smooth when it came to receiving the quote and invoice. My email address was initially recorded incorrectly, and although this was later corrected, the system was apparently not updated properly, which caused further delays in receiving important documents. We were also initially told that payment by credit card would require an in-store visit, only to then be informed while on the way to the store that this was unnecessary and a payment link could have been sent instead.

While the showroom experience and fitting service were both very positive, the administrative side could definitely benefit from better communication and organisation

Just wanted to say thank you very much again for another excellent job.

The kitchen flooring is perfect & I would like to thank you both for all your help during the whole process. Your time, & professional advice is so much appreciated which has resulted in another perfect job.

Also, the fitter Nick was absolutely amazing. He did a thoroughly professional job & is a credit to your company.

Again, I would have no hesitation in recommending your services as they surpass many companies out there.

Thank you again & I look forward to using you again in the future.

All the best.

Mark.

We have just had another room carpeted with Smiths, yet again we are absolutely delighted with everything.
We love going into the shop and seeing Lisa (she puts up with me very well!!) always have a great laugh and she is brilliant at helping us find the right carpet. Dale works so quickly and tidily and always leaves a great job.
We'll be back soon to get the lounge done!

Trevor and his team did a fantastic job laying the Karndean flooring in my flat. All the works were carried out with no delay and to the highest standard. A big thank you to Lewis who was very accommodating and helpful when I asked them to postpone the start of the works.

Beautiful flooring in my lounge and hallway. This was a very good experience right from choosing, buying and watching the very skilled fitter do his work. It has completely transformed my home in just a day. Thank you very much.

Smith carpets and flooring gave great customer service from the buying of my flooring to getting my laminate flooring fitted.
Couldn’t ask for better service
I would highly recommend them to family and friends

Beautiful carpet, fitted with great care. Looks absolutely fantastic.

Couldn't be more pleased with the service received.

Fabulous customer service. Quality flooring at very good prices! Quick to come out and measure and arrange fitting. Will be arranging for Trevor to come and measure further rooms in the near future. Thank you Trevor and Lewis for a completely hassle free experience.

Friendly and professional! 4 rooms, stairs and landing looking lovely. Very quick to measure and fit. Will be recommending to all family and friends!

Thanks for your help and services. Great carpets and fitted inside our time frame.

Ordered our new carpet for the lounge/ dining after taking helpful advice from Trevor, Lewis of Smiths flooring in their show room.
Carpet was fitted on a date that suited us giving Smiths Flooring two weeks notice.
We had chosen to remove the old carpet and underlay ourselves prior to the installation date but Smiths flooring will carry this out for you if this is your preferred option.
We cleared the lounge and dining room of furniture on the carpet fitting day which enabled the carpet fitter to fit the new underlay and carpet in one afternoon. Very nice new carpet fitted very well. Area left clean and tidy and the fitter was very polite

Friendly, easy to deal with . Great value, fitted well.

Found the staff friendly, helpful, trustworthy and have had my new carpet fitted into 2 rooms I shall definitely be having a 3 room done shortly
I would go to this shop time and time again, the quality of carpet is amazing and I just don’t know why I kept going to a larger shop these were brilliant and knew what they were talking about

This review should have gone on in December 2022 but couldn’t find it so adding now.

Hi Guys thanks for sending the “Three Wise Men” to fit our carpet this morning. Really nice guys who took their time and did a great job.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful, including the guys in the shop. We were able to take a couple of samples home. We are very happy with the floor and the fitter, Nic, did an excellent job. 10/10

Great service, very pleased with the new carpet. Excellently fitted, the room looks great. Highly recommend Trevor Smiths Flooring to produce a top quality service.

We were made very welcome when we visited the shop and Lewis was extremely helpful. No pressure sales. The whole process from helping us choose the right kitchen flooring, getting a quote, then paying, arranging a date and the laying of kitchen floor went without a hitch. Very pleased and WOULD definitely recommend.
