I ordered a lamp from UK

I ordered a lamp from UK. I asked for video of the lamp before it was sent to make sure it was working. I didnt get sent a video and now received a lamp that doesn't work. Also the pricing is misleading as stated £260 on website, my bank charged £273 and then customs charged additional £70......and the light doesn't work. Better to buy through etsy where you have some protection. Now have expensive light that doesn't work.

Thanks you for your feedback. I paid £273 as opposed to £260 which is the price on website hence could be bank charges. I paid an additional £70 for customs. I asked for video and pics of the light working multiple times before you packed as i wanted to see the finished product but was just sent 1 photo. The light wasnt working and I proceded to open the bayonet as advised and was shocked to see masking tape covering the wiring and exposed copper wire without earth which is dangerous for a metal light. I said that I was happy to return as long as the company covered the return courier costs as its already cost me £83 even if I get full refund of £260 so im not prepared to pay for return courier. I said my electrician would replace the bayonet and wire with 3 core safe cable and was told you were checking with manager regarding refunding my electrician cost of £75. You told me you cannot refund but need payment link to make payment to me. I am not a business so i suggested paying via PayPal but you cant do that. I need the£75 refunded for fixing the light or you send your courier to collect and give me full refund. Please dont mislead other buyers, the light is not safe and according to UK regs and if i hadn't opened the bayonet I wouldn't have known this. I am waiting fir you to resolve. This light and shopping experience has been a headache even though you have been helpful but you havent given me a suitable solution which I'm still waiting for. I shop from aliexpress which is so much easier as never had an issue with quality of lights or returning unwanted items free of charge. You need to check products before sending and make sure they are atleast working and fit for purpose. Waiting for resolution.

Thank you. I will write here once I receive the electrician fee to cover costs of fixing light. Would have preferred if i had working light to begin with but appreciate your support to refund the cost of fixing.

Thank you for your comment, But I will need to correct some things that are not true at all, First: you requested an image not a video and we did send you the image once its created, and this usualy we don't do as the product page has images of the product, second: The price did not change and we did not overcharge you as we can prove it and we did send you the invoice via email and whatsapp,If there is any overcharge You should contact your bank, When it comes to the £70 you did not pay 70 you paid less and it was related to your country import tax and this is very normal, As for the shipping it was 100% free, Even Our support team chated with you during the EID HOLIDAY and our response time was 1min, To tell you that you don't have to worry and gived you options, Finaly We offered you 100% refund and you did not accept it, You decided to keep the lantern instead and fix the cable, we also offered you to cover the cable issue to be fixed by us and you refused because you could not offer us an invoice for the damaged cable, And the offer to refund and also to cover the damaged cable fees is still on, As we told you before our priority is You as a customer not the lantern, Thank you,
