Unprofessional Driver

I avail their service in the Philippines via Booking.com and this makes me re-think using this such of service for airport pick up.

It’s very disappointing and stressful.

Not a very good experience as when the service finished, the driver Roldan have asked me on a private message to give him extra money and even blame me as he have to cancel his other booking because of the waiting time. My baggage came a bit later and overall, I was delayed for 20 mins due to the plane not landing on time and baggage claim takes longer.

It was very stressful as he been forcing me and felt harass that a couple days after, he even follow up to send him the money, this after a conversation with the operator about his attitude. Not very professional.

I would just recommend to not avail of their service, rather just hail a grab or uber outside the airport which is much convenient and stress-free.

I am a bit scared now that the driver will keep messaging me and ask for money which I felt it was not my fault in the first place as the luggage came a bit later. Also during the trip, he was a bit rude as I asked the question on how long the trip will be and he just ignore it. I’m happy to give him extra tip, if only he told me upfront so I have able prepare before the ride finishes. Also he was not good on navigation as we went on circle 3x before he see the drop off point, this in-spite of telling him to slow down and pointing him the drop off.

Safety hazard - Customer service ignores it

The driver was 50 minutes late. And then he nearly crashed into another car because he was too busy texting. Their customerservice sent me an email with apologies and that's about it. Absolute disgrace

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful! TravelThru left me stranded at the airport because I’m disabled and traveling with a service dog. Their driver refused to take us, showing clear discrimination. Even worse, customer support was useless, telling me there was no solution and that I had to figure it out on my own. This company has zero respect for people with disabilities and clearly doesn't comply with laws protecting service animals. No one should ever use their service. If you care about being treated with basic human decency, avoid TravelThru at all costs!

Avoid! Not as advertised.

After spending considerable time altering the collection time in Canmore, Alberta by 35 mins the previous night and having confirmation this was approved, I became increasingly anxious when the driver did not respond to my message or phone call when it was clear he wasn't on time. I tried again and I had clearly woken him up and he said he wasn't the driver but would make a call to find out what had happened. He messaged back to say the driver would be 7- 10 minutes. So, he turned up almost 20 minutes late muttering about traffic. Asad Alam was the same man who had taken my call and not someone different as claimed. His driving was jerky and made me feel ill. The cab and driver were smelly and the air con was on high making me cold. He never inquired about my comfort and it was an awkward silence the whole way. My main concern was the fact that he was trying to read his mobile phone when driving. This made me anxious and I had to ask him not to use it whilst driving as it was dangerous. He proceeded to use it a further 3 times en route. I find this unacceptable. This was not a cheap service and I was very disappointed and highly stressed. I contacted the company privately and they apologised but offered no financial recompense for my poor experience. I feel this ought to have been offered as the service was a world away from the excellent service advertised. False advertising no less!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Awful experience at Faro Airport. Flight arrived on time however there was a huge delay in passport control so we communicated with the driver Christivao but he said he would have to report us as a ‘no show! even though he knew we had arrived!!! I would not recommend this company. Our family was left stranded at the airport and we had to get an Uber in the end leaving us heavily out of pocket!! Not impressed at all.

Everything went exactly as planned

Everything went exactly as planned. Great pick-up with named-sign at the airport, kind driver with comfortabele van and free bottle of water. Ferry crossing without long wait and pick-up at the other end again seamless. Couldn't have gone better to get us to our holiday resort pn Ko Samui

The transfer via TravelThru was perfect…

The transfer via TravelThru was perfect and well organised. Communication from the company and our drivers made it all very easy. We arrived in Foz (Brazilian side) and crossed over to Puerto (Argentian side) after a long day traveling, and TravelThru organised everything from beginning to end including at the border crossing. 10 out of 10.

One thing I.would recommend that for.future bookings, that driver will.meet in arrival and will bring passenger to short term parking area as Hamad International do not allow curbside passengers pickup.

Friendly employee and great experience!

Vu is very friendly and helped us a lot when I need to reschedule the pick up time at the last minute. He confirmed the updated details with me even though it was super late at that day. Our driver also waited us patiently as there was some emergency happening. Thank you so much for your service!
