Guide was thoughtful and helpful and the driver was great too, great destinations

We had a wonderful experience with Travel Talk Tours. The itinerary was very well organized and allowed us to visit some of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, including Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.
Our tour guide, Constantina, was professional, friendly and always attentive to the group. She provided clear information, helped us throughout the trip and made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. The driver was also excellent and we always felt safe during the journey.
The tour was a great way to discover several countries and cities in a short period of time. Overall, we were very satisfied with the organization, the destinations and the service. I would definitely recommend Travel Talk Tours.

My 12 days experience in Turkey with Travel Talk was so amazing. Aykut our tour guide is very good in what he is doing. Very informative in every places we go. So detailed in our activities in everyday. Got to a lot of places and small towns. Aykut is always happy and jolly..lots of jokes that makes the group laugh and lively. 5 star plus for you Aykut. We enjoyed the whole tour made possible by our guide Aykut who was exceptional and professional. He made the experience that much better by explaining the places we saw with humour. He was caring to the groups’ needs and to individual members. Very organised and efficient tour operator made the whole experience hassle free and enjoyable. A thank you also to the bus drivers Ahmed and Cihad were both professional and caring drivers and managed our luggage on a daily basis. The bus was clean , well maintained making the journey comfortable.

The staff on the Gulet boat trip also did a fantastic job in managing their guests, preparing good meals and making the most out of the boat experience. I would recommend this tour to other people as it was a pleasant experience.

Amazing Turkey by Land was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Aykut, was so knowledgeable, kind, entertaining and organised. He made even the longer road trips fun. Our driver, Ahmet, was very skilful and kept us all safe every day. This was our first bus trip with Travel Talk, and we are already planning another one for next year!

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my Travel Talk tour and couldn’t recommend the experience highly enough.

Our tour guide, Tina, made our trip amazing. If anyone is lucky enough to do this tour and have Tina as your guide you won’t be disappointed. Her knowledge is phenomenal and her recommendations for free time was awesome. We would definitely do another tour with Tina.

We just got home from Travel Talk’s Treasures of Transylvania tour through Romania and Bulgaria, and honestly, this trip gave us SO many incredible memories.

The itinerary itself is fantastic. You cover an enormous amount of ground and see places we probably never would have managed to experience on our own. Fair warning: the days can be LONG. 😂 You are absolutely moving. But we knew we wanted a trip where we could really experience the countries rather than sit around a resort, and this delivered.

But the thing that truly made this trip extraordinary was our guide, BOGDAN!! I genuinely don’t know how to adequately explain how wonderful this man is.

Bogdan was warm, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful and somehow constantly paying attention to what everyone needed. He took care of us in every possible way without ever making it feel like he was simply doing a job. We even had the opportunity to meet some of his family along the way, which made the experience feel incredibly intimate and personal.

By the end of the trip, Bogdan wasn’t just our tour guide anymore. He had become part of the trip itself…and one of the people we will remember most when we think about Romania. A guide can absolutely make or break a trip like this, and Travel Talk has something incredibly special in Bogdan. I truly cannot imagine anyone having made this experience better for us. He is just an AMAZING human being. We miss him already!!

We also completely lucked out with our group. Traveling together for long days could easily become exhausting with the wrong mix of personalities, but somehow we ended up with such a genuinely fun, interesting group of people. There was a lot of laughing on that bus. ❤️

My only real criticism was some inconsistency with the hotels. The hotel in Brasov was generally fine, although we had an unpleasant experience with one of the breakfast staff. The hotel in Cluj-Napoca was the one real miss for us. The breakfast quality was extremely poor, including stale bread and pastries, the coffee machine wasn’t working, and even basic things in the room felt overlooked. I genuinely think Travel Talk should reconsider using that particular property.

But those issues are such a small part of how we remember this trip. We came home with stories from Romania and Bulgaria that we’ll be telling for YEARS…castles, medieval towns, salt mines, ridiculous amounts of food, long days, lots of laughing, and experiences we simply wouldn’t have had traveling on our own.

And somehow, when we talk about the trip now, Bogdan inevitably ends up in the story. Treasures of Transylvania was absolutely worth it. But Bogdan made it unforgettable.

Bogdan was an amazing guide and we really enjoyed being with him!

Best of Greece Tour with Travel Talk
Great intro to a few fun and lively Greek islands as well as Athens for a first timer. We enjoyed our trip very much and had guide Constantina looking after our group with interesting knowledge and facts about Greece. She was very helpful and reliable and made us feel at ease and comfortable along the way. A great support and guide on a fun and fascinating trip. Recommend 😎😊🙌

I had an amazing experience with my tour of Romania. I came to this tour after having lived in Romania so I didn’t have high hopes for it exceeding my previous adventure. Although I wasn’t expecting the phenomenal experience and personal recommendations/insights from Bogdan, our tour guide. He connected us with the heart and soul of Romania an unbelievable journey even for this globe trotter.

We had a wonderful tour through Central Europe with our guide Tina. She was so helpful, friendly and fun! The sights we saw were incredible and covered everything we wanted to do and more along the way. Then we linked a Greece tour as well and our new guide Spyro showed us the best side of all islands we stopped at, Ios was my favourite. Travel Talk Tours were great to deal with, the tours themselves were also really good, inclusive and covered all the main hot spots. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to travel!

11 Days Through Central Europe – TravelTalk

When I first saw that this tour covered 11 days and several countries and capitals, my first thought was: How are we going to manage all of that? 😅

Well, it actually went very smoothly, thanks in large part to our awesome tour leader, Marios, and our highly skilled driver, Georges.

This tour is a great opportunity to discover the main capitals of Central Europe. The pace can be quite intense at times, but overall, the schedule was well organised. You get to spend around one full day and one evening in each major city, along with 2–3 hour stops in smaller cities such as Dresden and Bratislava.

I did have a slightly stressful experience at the very beginning of the trip, when the hotel staff in Berlin couldn't initially find my reservation. Fortunately, the issue was resolved quickly after a call to TravelTalk Headquarters, with the help of our tour leader Marios.

We were also lucky to have a relatively small group — only 19 people on a 56-seat bus — which made the experience more comfortable. The group dynamic was generally very good, although we did have to deal with a few situations where people were late in the mornings.

A few points that could be improved

My main concern with the tour was the location of some of the hotels.

Munich: The hotel itself was decent, but for future tours, I would strongly suggest choosing a location closer to the city centre and, ideally, closer to a subway station. This would make it much easier for travellers to explore the city during their free time.

Vienna: This was the hotel location I was least comfortable with. The subway line ran directly in front of the hotel windows, and I did not find the surrounding area particularly pleasant at night. I would recommend choosing a hotel in a better area and closer to a convenient subway station for future tours.

One other point worth mentioning is that I believe the tour leader and driver should have their breakfast included as part of the tour. From what I noticed, they had to pay extra themselves to have breakfast in the morning, which doesn't seem ideal given the early starts and the important role they play throughout the tour.

Overall, this was my third tour with TravelTalk, and I would definitely recommend this Central Europe tour to anyone interested in discovering the region. Despite the intense pace, it is a great way to see several major European cities in a relatively short amount of time.

The tour far exceeded expectations. Great value for the money. Credit goes to the tour guide and the magnificent places we visited. My only constructive advice would be to include a few more two-night stays - the speed of the tour was doable but having time to soak more of the atmosphere would have made the tour near perfect.

Lastly, the bus driver must be commended for keeping us safe through such winding road trips and the cleanliness of the bus.

My travel experience was wonderful.

Bogdon, the guide, was very attentive, helpful, fun to be with, and exceptionally interesting.

He took us on un-planned walks and, since he has lived through the political upheaval, he is a first class local source.

He kept us informed about our expectations and re-arranged some of our tour to ensure that we got the most of everything available AND EVEN MORE!

I would, unhesitantly, recommend him for my closest friends.

First and foremost, we were extremely fortunate to have as our guide Bogdan through Romania and Bulgaria for a total of seven days. My wife and I were not at all familiar with the history and architecture of this region. Bogdan brought the tumultuous and momentous events of the this region’s past to life with his passion for his country and encyclopedic knowledge of the subject.
Additionally, he was the consummate professional, and we always felt well cared for and comfortable during our trip.
He went out of his way to accommodate our wishes.
While the hotels and transportation were excellent, if not luxurious, Bogdan was the cherry on top of cake.
