Do NOT book with Easyjet!!

One star because couldn't give zero! Easyjet cancelled our holiday 2 hours before check-in with no offer of an alternative! Then no apology recieved just many messages asking if we were enjoying our holiday and messages of recommendations and return flight details. We were in a fortunate position of having savings to book a last minute deal with Tui who were fantastic - however many families would have had to wait for a refund to come through which then takes you into the main school holidays with sky rocketing prices!! I would never book with Easyjet again - I understand regarding issues out of their control but after sales communication was appalling! And compensation has been rejected as out of their control - however I am aware the French strikes were known a few days before and that notice would have been better than 2 hours!!!

PAYING FOR SEATS

i paid for my seats for my family and nothing showed up on my booking rang up to be given the seat numbers as i booked.
now at time of printing boarding passes the seats i have paid for are no longer mine and have been given to someone else so my family are now split up.
so think before you book a package holiday as you can not get the seats you pay for so not a very happy customer.
but lesson learnt do go back to them for future holidays pick a better airline

EasyJet is the worst airline for customer service

Cancelled flight while waiting for boarding gate number. Not one member of EasyJet staff available to assist. Could not rebook flight for two days so had to book alternative flight the next day at a cost of £564. The airport staff member ( not easyJet) sourced overnight accommodation. This cost a further €50 there and back. So far I’m £600+ out of pocket. I have to be back at work Tuesday and had no alternative but to source other flights.
NEVER BOOK THIS AIRLINE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO US. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Awful non reliable airline

Delayed, then delayed later, then delayed later then later.. an absolute Mickey Mouse Airline.
I avoid them mostly at all costs but needed to get to Stansted and BA don’t fly there so I took a chance! Well.. what a wrong choice that was!
Absolute joke.

Booked a holiday to sharm Egypt, the holiday was very good however in 50 yers of regular flying at least 3 times per year long and sort haul I can confirm that we have never experienced such an discomfort.devoid of decent seat covering (padding) the seats don't recline . It is was torture .it is by far more comfortable sitting on a concrete park bench. And for this reason We will never fly easyjet again.

CORRUPT / POOR PROFESSIONALISM AND SERVICE STANDARDS
PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOING EASY JET

I had an extremely unpleasant experience on my EasyJet flight from Antalya to Manchester Last month.
The check in counter desk manager was exceptionally rude not honest and hostile.

I always experienced that airline staff have professional integrity and hospitality as it is essential in the airline business, They should be welcoming, polite, and have a smile on their faces, but not my return journey from Antalya, it was a miserable experience.

Poor behaviours from Easy jet Staff
On my easter holiday package booked via LoveHolidays, everything was fantastic until my EasyJet flight home . (Please note that the outbound flight was Corendon Airlines which was excellent).

Abnormal behaviours started by asking me to pay for seats, followed in the airport by asking me to pay for two small cabin bags (5kg and 8kg bags wedding dresses and clothes only the wheels did not pass the under seat measurement). These bags were also checked in with no problems with Corendon Airlines as these were cabin bags, not according to easyjet!!!!!!.

So they are Corrupt:
I was asked to pay £100 for these two cabin bags. On arrival home I was asked If I need an invoice from easyjet, I agreed for the request and to my surprise I discovered that the Antalya Easyjet supervisor registered only £50.

Seating plans.
I was emotionally forced to buy a return seat. I nearly did not do so, as I thought that the check in counter will give us (me and my wife two seats together on checking in as there were lots of seats in the front (the pricy seats). I purchased the seats to avoid embracement and chance of dispute. To our surprise and after boarding and seated, the crew were asking us and other passengers if we want to swap our seats to a parent and daughter as they were given separate seats (they did not pre-book a seat). The offer was to involve a comfortable with legroom seats, also offering a complementary dinks as well. But to punish the (non-seat buyer passenger) they gave them two separate seats. This could’ve been me and my wife and because we are both adults this would’ve been unnoticed but by us and our misery. Very unprofessional and does not make sense!
They should’ve offered them seats to sit together (but EASYJET is not family/ couples friendly).

In the airport Check in desk, we had our most embracing (stupid) travel experience, this is to be clarified.. specially that the counter manager refused board me and suggested that I was threat when I asked to speak to his supervisor/ shift manager refusing to get them asking me to go back to the end of the que (I was one of the first). He also hid £50 out of the £100 to another account (not sure where). This is for easyjet to find out if they care!!!

Third visit to Pinhal da Marina which…

Third visit to Pinhal da Marina which was excellent as far as the Hotel was concerned but disappointing because lost 2 days out of 9 because of late and very early on outbound and inbound flights!
Noteworthy stay in Hotel between 14th - 23rd May we’re staff and fabulous surroundings!
Manuel and Paula excelled in Dining room both charming, knowledgeable and friendly!
Daniela supervised the buffet breakfast with charm, and helpful advice!
Nadia kept our Apartment scrupulously clean and made the bed with kin attention to detail!
The surroundings of this hotel are relaxing and allows one to truly “chill “

Hard to help easyjet improve

Hi, Easyjet website has no option to contact them so using trustpilot. Bought 2 seats, checked in 2 passengers, want to download 2 boarding passes to 2 wallets but I can't, I need to download both to 1 phone then have the hassle of "passing" my partner then passing myself. Feature request option: share boarding pass wallet download link. I don't want to be tied to my partner. This issue caused stress as I needed to email a pdf to her and she's not happy because she doesn't think it will work (irlt will). Easyjet, families book flights and guess what, most of them have individual, not a family phone.

EASY? MORE LIKE 'HARD JET'!!!

This airline needs a zero star or NEGATIVE rating!
What an unbelievable waste of space Hard Jet are!

I created an account with them a few months back but till now had never actually booked a flight because of time restraints.

Only now, when I noticed they fly direct to a destination from a nearby airport did I bother....Easy, yes? Easy, no! Nothing but trouble just trying to book all this week!

Basic problem: despite in the past being able to sign in to 'My Account', now it's pot luck whether I get in or not.

I tried many times over the past week via the website and the app.

All that happens is a window pops up with a different Error Code with a long string of letters but zero explanation of what the code means or what to do, other than...RED FLAG WARNING!...CONTACT THEM!!

Making a note of the codes proved pointless, since they were DIFFERENT every time

So, I started thinking maybe it was my equipment at 'fault'.

Consequently, I tried signing in with two other separate Windows computers and also a Chromebook. Same result.

Let's not forget the indomitable smartphone app....again same uncertainty! Let me in, don't let me in....

Even when Hard Jet deigns to grant me access and I manage to select dates and destination....more unexplained Error Codes!!!...Unbelievable!

Today, Friday 2 May, was the last straw with this appalling airline.

With incredible rigmarole, I finally was able to message chat to a real person.

Totally and utterly useless is the best description of that endeavour!

I'd already tried changing computer, browser, clearing cache, even flushing DNS!
But did he even suggest that?...Of course not...just gave me no reason whatsoever for the problem. I'm now certain I can't be the only one who's experienced this!

None of this 'conversation' was helped by him clearly not having English as a first language. Not the lad's fault, of course, but it doesn't help if he's being told in the simplest possible language exactly what the problem is and yet still doesn't appear to 'get it'!

Then, without reason or suggestion, he sent me a link which basically asked for ALL the info I'd already given Hard Jet to setup the Account in the first place.

This link asked for ID photo, passport info and a lot more. All info they already had from original setup.

When I queried the need for such duplication (aside from the fact who has that info handy anyway!) I got the strong feeling this was a fob-off and the link was just to kick the can down the road and away from him.

He didn't seem to compute that in order to just get to him, I had to be able to sign in...which of course I'd amazingly been able to do this time!

So question: why was this possible if not because of a fault at THEIR end that they were incapable of admitting this or indeed offering solution? I suspect that would've revealed just how inadequate their systems are!

Besides, giving all that duplicated info to a complete stranger (sorry, 'customer advisor' with only a first name for HIS identification!!) was a recipe for even more things to go wrong as far as I was concerned.

So, I simply gave up in total frustration, regretting ever having decided to even think of flying with Hard Jet, given all the preposterous annoyance of the past few days.

All I wanted to do was book a flight, give them my money. Simple, right?

Silly me, at one point, I started giving Hard Jet the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe the recent electricity blackout in Spain/Portugal somehow was affecting flights and their website, but there was no news anywhere on Hard Jet's website to that effect. Big surprise....

So there you have it...Hard Jet have a first-time customer who wants to give them business but they just don't seem able to understand how to handle that.

It's obvious their website needs major tweaking or maybe their whole business model just needs a serious overhaul.

As a base rule in the 21 Century and particularly as an online company for many years, Hard Jet's website should be tip-top by now. Agreed?

Judging by the vastly negative reports on Hard Jet here on Trust Pilot and elsewhere...maybe I've dodged a bullet anyway.

That said, if anyone from Hard Jet even bothers to check on Trust Pilot complaints, then go ahead, do make my day and contact me with a guaranteed solution and not just insincere apology etc. Go ahead, punk!

Significantly, don't dare forget how much any customer can influence positively or negatively any perception of their business. And not just via the web! In short, they don't know just who a person knows...

Last point: anyone know how to close down a Hard Jet account or is that a guarantee of yet more aggravation?!

Hope this gives others some room for thought on using this abysmal airline or just a final encouragement to ditch it completely! Maybe only then will they wake up to their serious shortcomings!

This company is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace, we travelled from Glasgow Airport for our Holiday this month. We weren’t told about cabin baggage restrictions. A very abrupt and rude gate attendant told us we had to pay £48 each for our 2 bags, She thence smirked as she informed us that we would be paying the same amount coming home! £196 on top of our Holiday price. Then when we boarded the plane and spent £200 on their duty free they added £3.60 for a bag to put our purchases into. A bag I might add burst at the airport while we waited on our Cases.Also we paid for seats with legroom at the front of the Aircraft, however there was a panel added that cut off our leg room..On the way back from the Airport our flight was delayed. Still no apologies. I didn’t want to even give them to 1 star as this airline is a joke! We will not be using this Airline again !!

I resent giving 1 star, we have been abandoned by easyJet in Portugal. They won’t give us another flight, won’t book a hotel and said we can pay and claim back. Utter disgrace. Reading from their policy sheet and refusing to give yes or no answers. I am stuck in Portugal

All EasyJet flights are poor it’s honestly the worst airline at the moment. In Milan, they’ve taken over the entire terminal, and every time you fly, there are six people checking your bag just to find a reason to charge you extra 48€, i personallystopto flyworh this company and I know many many people too!!

Brutal customer service

Flight over an hour late, got grilled on eta requirements for the uk despite giving them the proof of our applications. Made to pay for a larger cabin bag despite us having 3 tickets and only three bags. Also made to pay for a heavier hold bag despite paying for heavier weight.

Never get sat together despite booking as a family unless you pay almost 100gbp.

Boarding is awful, so unorganized and move people into small corners of the airport unnecessarily when they aren't even ready to board.

Scammed by one of their employees


The behavior of an employee ruins the image of a company!! On 02/01/24 at 12.50 flight No. EZY8419 Gate 565 London Gatwick Airport, we were forced to pay 48 pounds due to the decision of a boarding employee named ZOE. The lady saw that a backpack was at the size limit and had it measured, the baggage was at the limit but fit in the designated space.
Mrs ZOE decided to charge us 48 pounds, yes you understood correctly 48 pounds, for a plastic bag with a 10x8cm puppet inside. Since this puppet was extra, we advised the employee that we could put the aforementioned puppet in my backpack which still had enough capacity or keep it in my jacket pocket.
the colleagues agreed to the solution (which falls within company rules) she decided to make us pay the sum of 48 pounds, threatening that otherwise we would not be able to get on the flight.
Be careful who you hire because it can put your company in a bad light, thanks to your attitude we will avoid using and we strongly advise against EasyJet given the work of its employees at Gatwick.

There is no customer service at all

There is no customer service at all! All priority is given to people who pay extra fees for trolley bags. They stopped people with just one carry-on bag and processed those who paid extra for an additional trolley bag, even if they arrived 40 minutes later than us. This is complete nonsense! 💩😡😡

Gone done hill

I've flown EasyJet a few times and have booked a few holiday through EasyJet holidays. On the whole the experience has been good however I've made a booking and have nothing but problems since booking. Firstly, I keep receiving emails to tell me I have a 'disrupted booking' but no information is given and I can't speak any changes anywhere. Everytime I log into the app it kicks me out. I was unable to pay for the holiday via the app/website and had to call - what is the point of the app/website? I recently noticed that the name on the booking was spelt wrong so called again (as website wouldn't allow me to change it. I was told that it was changed and I'd receive an email to confirm the change. No email came and I have just gone to check in and the name hasn't been changed. Unfortunately, the amount of problems I've had before I've even left the country have put me off ever booking with them again and certainly do not fill me with confidence whilst I'm away.

Such a shame as my experience had always been good but it's clearly gone down hill. Of course it won't make a difference but you've lost a loyal customer.

Delayed on the way out and delayed on the way home. Their baggage policy is a joke, with only a handbag for free. You’d think a 10kg small suitcase would be included, but they seem to think you can survive a holiday with a handbag 🤣 extremely high changes for baggage, I’d take Ryan air over these guys, and that’s saying something. Never again 🤣
