We travelled from Australia for a 4 week trip through UK and Europe.
I purchased tickets online for my self and daughter to see London as we had little time.
We waited at Piccadilly Circus for over 60 minutes at the correct stop.
Their site says a bus runs every 15 min.
My daughter was moaning and had enough of the waiting. I tried to contact them but could only email.
I ended up having to purchase another two tickets with BigBus, they were FANTASTIC!!!!
I reached out to the Top View again and I was asked for my booking number before they would look into it. I did that. They replied stating……

I responded to the email. The customer service side didnt bother to reply again after I responded …..

So you can happily say you are saddened?!? Wow. It certainly did not meet my expectations . The bus didn’t even arrive.

I understand delays can occur out of your control. I live in Sydney, Australia. It’s busy.
However, there was no delay. There was no bus. 15 minutes between buses, your site states. There was no bus!!!

I want this escalated and responded to by someone other than customer service.

Since this email, I have not had a reply from them. I understand delays are out of their control but no bus turning up at all and now the customer service side is not responding does not sit well with me. Poor company over all.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, don’t waste your money with them.

Group of 4 adults and it cost us £140. Bought the tickets on Sunday 1st Sept at London Bridge. Either not enough drivers or buses as we had to wait at least 30 mins for the first bus. We went on half of the red route then blue route. We planned to get back on the red route at Hyde Park to get back to hotel. Went to one stop and we were instructed to walk to another stop about a mile away (no explanation given). When we got to that stop we waited for in excess of 40 mins. Buses from other companies passed us by but nothing from Top View. In the end we gave up and had to catch a hot crowded underground train. I’ve tried to get some sort of recompense but they just state their ‘terms & conditions’ which says no refunds. Multiple emails and calls to no avail. It totally spoiled our day out.

We had a fantastic day in London me and 5children 3who have hidden disabilities we went to a bus stop as originally booked with golden tours which we waited over 35 minutes to then not be able to get on it there was a man called sulayman ag the stop who was very helpful and got us on the bus with top view was very good with the adhd/asd children thank you for saving the day out

We bought a one day ticket the guy told us that the next day we would come and thank him, NOT! The bus never showed up after waiting for 45 minutes and asking a guy that works there how long until the next bus he said 7-8 minutes after 15 minutes you guessed it, still no bus he came up after 30 minutes and said that the bus wouldn’t come to this stop which makes no sense because it’s part of the route don’t use this company use city sightseeing, big bus tours or toot bus.

Bei unserem Londontrip haben wir für uns vierköpfige Familie (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder unter 16) jeweils ein 24-Ticket für Hop-On-Hop-Off und eine Themsefahrt gebucht.

Es lief alles sehr gut. Es verkehrten regelmäßig Busse mit ausreichenden Sitzplätzen (wir konnten auch auf den begehrten Freiluftplätzen auf der oberen Busetage sitzen). In dem Preis (104 Pfund für uns Vier) waren zwei verschiedene Bustouren (jeweils ca. 2,5 Stunden), eine 30-minütige Themsenfahrt sowie eine "Jack-the-Ripper"-Führung inklusive.

Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil es recht unübersichtlich war, wie man die Themsefahrt antreten kann (man musste den Onlinevoucher vorher in einem Büro der Schifffahrtsunternehmen in einen Fahrkarte umtauschen, das wurde uns erst am Kai gesagt und wir mussten den Weg zu den Büros zurückgehen) und weil man den Jack-the-Ripper-Trip vorher separat nochmal reservieren musste. Als wir das machen wollten hatte die Tour bereits begonnen, sehr schade.

Weil hier ein anderer Rezepient behauptete, es gäbe in den Bussen nur einen englischsprachigen Tourguide: dies stimmt nicht, zumindest bei unseren Touren gab es kostenfreie Ohrhörer sowie einen mehrsprachigen Guide (englisch, französisch, spanisch, deutsch und italienisch, auf weitere Sprachen habe ich nicht geachtet).

Die Guidetexte passten auch immer zu den jeweiligen Abschnitten, in denen die Tour gerade war.

Nur bei der Themsenfahrt sprach der Guide ausschließlich englisch, das haben wir aber auch nicht anders erwartet.

Alles in allem war es absolut okay.

This company is a waste of time. Purchased 3 two day tickets and buses never turned up. Had 1 short trip which stopped well short of an attraction then waited hours for a bus which never turned up.Avoid at all costs.

You need to wait for the bus for 30minutes

Scam!!!! Very tiny fleet. You will waste your precious time waiting for a bus that will never show up. Use Big Bus, Toot bus or Sightseeing brand company instead. Any of those three are 100 times better than this joke of a company.

Please don´t do it! Don´t spend a cent on this company!
The frequency is very very low.....and when you are travelling you dont want to spend 30 min waiting for a bus to move a few stops!

We enjoyed the tour and the guides were good, especially enjoyed Christina, who we lucked up having twice. Our problem was that on 2 different occasions we were told we had to exit the bus and wait for another bus because they were taking buses offline. On the last occurrence we were told that the next bus wouldn’t complete the loop but would drop us at Victoria Station. We waited 15 minutes for that bus and then while at a stop, we were suddenly told that the bus we were on would not continue to Victoria Station and that no other buses would pick us up. They quickly made us exit the bus, told us so sorry and they left. We were left nowhere near an underground station and had to call a taxi to return us to our hotel. It was not a good situation to suddenly leave customers many of whom were families with kids. Rude and disrespectful of the company. I do not blame our guide or driver but the company should be ashamed of themselves. For this reason I advise you to be wary of Top View HOHO bus tours.

Awful no TopView buses to be found! There were loads of all the other seightseeing buses but no TopView spent £100+ for nothing. Even the people working for them had no idea they just say the same thing the bus will be here in 5-10 mins even after yet another half an hour.. we searched for the river boat and again couldn’t find one of those either! We ended up paying for a different sightseeing company who were great!..avoid TopView don’t waste your money

Only for English Speaking people! No Translation into other languages

Guides in bus are very kind and helpful, but it is useless if you don't understand. DO NOT BELIEVE STREET-SALERS there is no translation in bus!!! You could not give the tickets back! (You have only 11 minutes) - no chance!!!

The live guide was FANTASTIC. Everything else about this company was a DISASTER. Customer service gave me wrong addresses for stops and were completely wrong about how to gain entrance to the Thames river tour. No one seemed to know what was going on. I did get a lot of exercise running after busses because customer service couldn't get me the correct stop address. This company shouldn't be in business.

We bought 3 day pass and thoroughly enjoyed jumping on and off the buses and listening to the different tour guides individual style. Humour was appreciated by us and thanks to informative guides. Enjoyed the Thames cruise (included) , again a good humourous guide(but not Top view). Only went on one walking tour (Jack the Ripper) led by Babs which was very interesting if a bit gory!
If you're buying from the Top View guys on the street, check the web price as they'll match it..... saved quite a bit of money!

When my wife and I boarded the bus in the rain, even though the driver was told to allow us time to be seated, he took off say that he was late. My wife stumbled down the stairs. They seem to have little to no care of the passengers safety.

We bought 4 tickets for your hop off, hop on buss for december 31. The buss services stopped around 14.00 hours because of the new years party. We were told we could use our tickets also for January 1. That was a nice services.

So January 1 at 15.30, stop number 18, we tried to hop on the buss. We waited 40 minuten. We saw others like City Sighseeing and Big Bus passing for a few times, Tootbus came 3 or 4 times, but no buss from Topview at stop numbre 18.
Very dissapointing. I called their number and according to the agent, the busses were driving and there was no problem.
We waited for 10 minutes more, still no Topview buss, so after a total for 50 minutes waiting, we went to the underground.
We payed money, however they did not gave the service we acspected.

Feel utterly ripped off by this company! Bought two tickets including the boat trip for just shy of £100 at 1:45pm with the intention of using is the rest of the day into the evening and the boat the following morning. The sales lady told us the last boat was 4pm. No mention of when the buses stop! We jumped on the bus and it stopped at the next stop for 10 mins for a staff change. We then stayed on till Piccadilly Circus and had a wander then jumped on the tube back for our time slot in n the London Eye. We went back to the nearby stop where we had purchased tickets from and waited from 6pm to 6:50pm and no bus came. Many buses from other tour bus companies passed us so we started to get frustrated and asked another rep from one of these companies. He said Top View don’t run at night and he’d spoken to another couple earlier who had waited over an hour. I can’t find anything on the ticket that tells you when the buses run till. If you’re paying all that mid afternoon, you should be told they don’t run in the evenings so you can choose another tour that does! Still absolutely fuming at this total waste of money!

Absolutely fantastic experience with Charlotte (tour guide), and Matt (driver), yesterday on a TopView bus tour. They were a true credit to the company. Charlotte was entertaining, and her knowledge of London was great.
Although a few areas of London were inaccessible due to the protest, Matt ensured we were able to see as much as possible on the diverted route.
However, what impressed me the most was the company deciding to put on an additional evening tour to see the areas missed when the route was eventually opened. Many of us stayed on to take advantage of this kind gesture.
Definitely worth my 5 star rating!

Had a great tour given by a French girl. Definitely a must
