When we call at 7:20 they told us to go haymarket at 7:30 , we will not reach there at the last moment, we wasted 35 pounds * 11.
Complete frauds.
They told no refund
Don’t book ticket in top view bus
They are cheats,
We are trying to get refund.

Never ever take this tour operator. You have to change buses 3 times for no reason of a load of lies. You have other companies passing by 3 times before you see a bus of them. They promised a bus q 20 min, and after 90 min they told me to take the tube....

I hope the lady who was wearing the grinch jumper with green hair who told me she works in customer service for top view on my failed North Pole express tour on 29th November reads this and can help me as unfortunately her telling me to contact customer services after the event to seek a refund has been wholly unsuccessful as I am being repeatedly ignored! I await contact and an appropriate resolution which can only be a full refund due to my terrible experience and even worse customer service! Sadly a company to avoid who will rip you off then ignore you it seems

Warning: Top View Bus Company - Frudulent Experience!

I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Top View Bus Company in London. We booked their London travel package, which included a Christmas night in Oxford Street, but it turned out to be a total scam.

We arrived at Tower Bridge at 3:30 pm and boarded the bus around 5:30 pm. When we asked the driver how we could get to Oxford Street, he casually informed us that their service wasn't available on that route! We had paid a huge amount for the ticket, and our valuable time was wasted.

The bus staff were unhelpful and refused to do anything, leaving us stranded. We had to take the tube and explore the Christmas night on our own, effectively paying double for the same destination.

The route plan on our ticket mentioned Oxford Street, but there was no indication of route restrictions or time limitations. We weren't informed about any of this before buying the tickets, which is unacceptable. This is nothing short of a scam, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.

Their customer service is non-existent, and they seem to be more interested in taking your money than providing the promised service. Save your money and time, and choose a more reliable tour operator.

Ik zou deze organisatie afraden. We hadden tickets voor overdag en voor de avond kerst route. Overdag zijn wec5 keer van bus moeten veranderen omdat de bus waar we op dat moment in zaten niet verder reed. Ze hebben 2 routes de rode en de blauwe. We hebben de 1e dag 2 uur geprobeerd om op de blauwe route te komen maar dat is niet gelukt doordat we steeds moesten over stappen kwamen we maar niet bij de juiste halte. Toen we uiteindelijk bij de juiste halte kwamen zeiden ze dat de blauwe bus eraan kwam, maar die is nooit geweest. Voor de avondroute moesten we plaatsen reserveren en moesten we kiezen uit 2 stops waar we wilde opstappen, vervolgens staan we daar te wachten komt de bus voor bij maar stopt hij niet. Daarna nog een half uur gewacht op een volgende bus maar die is nooit gekomen, dus die route hebben we helemaal niet kunnen doen. Geprobeerd te bellen naar het bedrijf, maar daar neemt niemand op. Daarna nog een klacht achtergelaten dat we een gedeelte van ons geld terug willen. Daar krijg je via de mail een reactie op dat ze binnen 24 uur contact opnemen, maar dat is nooit gebeurd. Al met al een zeer teleurstellend bedrijf en ik zou het iedereen afraden om hier te boeken, er rijden zat andere busorganisatie in London.

We met a shy but very pleasant representative who sold us tickets for a London sightseeing excursion. After being told the bus would be about 10 mins, we waited almost 30. The bus arrived, two TopView bib-branded tour guides jumped off the bus, herded us loudly onto the bus without any introduction and then left us to board the bus on our own with an unfriendly driver and no tour guide assistance. The audio throughout our journey was staggered - awful pop genre music mostly with a spattering of historical inserts for attractions and monuments that were sped past so quickly, it was impossible to immerse ourselves in the story of it all, let alone enjoy any of it. After having previously used the BigBus Tours before, I would strongly recommend you avoid TopView completely as they have put zero thought into the experience, the app is next to useless, there is no way to live-track a bus and its route. We were given a discount but it was still an utter waste of money and a huge disappointment for our friends who were looking forward to hearing about our amazing city. This company needs to greatly improve its service and quality or shut down because from our experience, it adds no value and actually negatively impacts a visitor’s experience to London

Firstly, they claim in their faq that the busses drive with an interval of 15 minutes. We experienced several rimes a waiting time of at least 30 minutes and when asked your drivers told us that the frequency is app. 30 minutes which is probably optimistic. So we spent a lot of time waiting.
In the blue line many stops do not show that topview operates from that stop. So we actually walked between stops until we coincidentally were at a stop when the bus arrived.
The busdriver of the blue line stopped the bus at the marble arch in the midle of the route, because his working day was over. The clock was 5 pm and the bus should operate until 6 pm but there was no replacement.
Minor issues were that the sound of the audioguide was terrible and very difficult to hear and understand.
So we found the service to quite unsatisfactory

If I could give zero stars, I would. Top View London was the single biggest travel mistake of our entire trip.

We spent nearly three hours of our limited time in London doing nothing but WAITING. First, we stood for 45 minutes watching bus after bus from their competitors roll by—seven “Big Bus” coaches passed before a single Top View bus showed up. When one finally did appear, it was going the wrong direction. We were reassured the “next one” would be eastbound. Wrong again—it was westbound. At this point we were watching a comedy of errors unfold, except it wasn’t funny.

Eventually, we caught a bus—but the misery didn’t stop there. Just three stops later, we were kicked off and told to wait for another bus. That wait? Another 20 minutes of nothing. We gave up, took a train across the city to catch their other route, only to repeat the circus. Promised “10 minutes” became 20… then “just 5 more minutes”… then still nothing. We finally abandoned ship and trained back to our Airbnb, with literally nothing to show for the wasted time, money, and energy.

Top View promotes themselves as “fast and efficient.” Our experience was the opposite: chaotic, unreliable, and borderline fraudulent marketing. We pride ourselves on planning our trips with precision, and after researching we genuinely thought this was a top-rated service. Instead, we feel flat-out deceived.

Do not book Top View. Unless your idea of sightseeing is staring down empty roads, counting competitors’ buses, and being fed false promises, save yourself the headache and go with anyone else.

Well, what is wrong ? Maybe the concept about what is a good service or not! From fullwell stop to Kingston Lane stop 19 minutes, no traffic . The driver has been told to wait here to improve the service ? What kind of service ? To be late when is not trafic at all. Schedules are to be follow , of course . It is been long time you got the some job line what it means bad service , so maybe you need someone with different vision of what is a good service . Thanks to make people lives not easy and pay for a bad service . Thanks in advance to the customer deparyment which has to follow the protocol answering .

Worst tour bus to go on they are rude Muslim lady driver could see she didn't want to do her job and you wonder why your busses are empty all the time.
James who did the Ripper tour was excellent his knowledge was brilliant.

This Aussie with his wife did hop-on, hop-off BigBus in Paris as part of our holiday visit. Now, we tried TopView became the worst idea being offered by their smooth talking representative at London Eye a special deal for 120 hrs to include three other tours being we are Senior Citizens. A kind guesture we thought only to discover was same price on line for everyone. Unlike BigBus online shows start and finish times per each stop this company states start and end time for the day. Spent more time waiting for bus while watching other hop on/ hop off come and go. We took the boat tour which felt over before it started being one way requiring other transport back. In hindsight would have been better doing ONE day to go around to learn what was and where. Yes, we used the more frequent public transport than wasting our time waiting for them. I addressed my concerns with the company to yield the expected result so if impressions count from the bus, staff, and admin can find better elsewhere.

Have done hop-on, hop-off buses all over the world. This one was the worst I have been on. On the red run we had a stop for a “change of crew” which took 20 minutes. Not sure why it took so long, as they were all just standing around talking. In the blue run, every stop was extended as they busked for new business. On the blue run we got commentary for two stops. We decided to get off and take the metro home - we mentioned the lack of commentary to the driver when we got off, who just gave us a “don’t give a rat’s arse” look.

Do not go with this company! We were told that their services starts at 9 am outside the Dilly hotel. We waited for 50 minutes before deciding to get the tube. We then waited at another bus stop later in the day for an hour and not one bus! No one answered when we called their ‘customer service’ number 23 times! When we requested a refund for the ‘service’ not provided they refused despite knowing we had not used our ticket. They offered another ticket but why would we go with them again having experienced such a disappointing day! Go with a more reputable company! Do not waste your money, time or energy on these!

In their response to my google review I tried to reach out to them and my email was bounced back as the domain doesn’t exist!!!!! Avoid this ‘company’!!!!!!!!!!

We liked the regularity of the services and we like the one section where we got a very enjoyable "live" commentary From Katrina..
We didn't like, in spite of being told, as Seniors, that we would get concession fares, bring charged full price.
But most upsetting was being bypassed, in spite of waving frantically, by TWO of your buses at one of your Piccadilly Rd stops

We dealt with Bradley at the Tower of London location.
Bought a 48 hr. Pass. He said he was giving us a free day, the day we bought it and then 48 hours after.
We questioned him a few times to make sure we understood. Well we didn’t get that 1 free partial day.
It ended in 48 hours. It had long waits at some stops and to top it off our bus broke down and we had to wait for a new bus, no compensation. Lost time waiting for that as well…not exactly happy. I guess we should have gone with the Hop on hop off company that was also pitching us.

We really liked our guide, Craig. He did a fantastic job when leading our tours. Due to his explanations we were prepared to meet and great the king (by chance). We knew what to pay attention to. And we learned a lot and had a lot of fun with him.

Unfortunately, the availability and reliability of the tour buses was not so great. Our experience with another sightseeing company some time ago was much better as far as this aspect of the service is concerned.

Get better with the buses and we are happy to recommend you to all our friends.
