Missleading says in stock but then says pre order only to wait 6 to 8 weeks not good enough

Contacted Toolsite for a price match but was advised the product nolonger available. They offered me a discount on another make and model. They even gave me a discount on the alternative and sent me a discount code to make ordering easy.
Really quick and responsive company to deal with

Ordered a generator that was "stock" paid £1577.48, received an confirmation e-mail "we're getting your order ready to be shipped", then received another email saying out of stock if I wanted to wait for stock for new stock to arrive, I replied that would be okay, I then received another e-mail to say "due to Brexit we cannot send to N/Ireland" - still awaiting refund of £1577.48 !!!!!

So impressed by the professionalism and customer service from Alex at Toolsite. I ordered online and he was immediatley in touch by email to double check I was obtaining the correct product and fully informed me as to delivery etc. Really excellent.

Ordered Sunday evening. Delivered Tuesday morning. Superb considering the lawnmower is 47Kg

Paid £10 extra for premier delivery. My petrol pressure washer was delivered 3 days later in a damaged box and upside down . Contacted by email Toolsite straight away as the pressure washer was not in a state to work. Not fit for purpose. Days later Hyundai asked me for my email. I gave it and i have heard nothing since. I did not expect having to repair a brand new pressure washer costing £650 myself. Even though it was supposed to have a 3 years warranty NEVER AGAIN.

No problem with the item purchased and it did arrive after 3 days. Also got discount for first time using Toolsite. All good so far. Problem is the total lack of communication - heard nothing after the initial order confirmation even though it said i would be informed when it had been dispatched. Was having a well deserved lie in when it arrived - had to grab dressing gown quickly. Not ideal. Need to sort this out. ... have now had an apology from Toolsite which is nice so have increased to 4* - still lose one though. Would use them again - we all make mistakes.

Great communication, price and very fast delivery. What more could you ask for.

Toolsite dispatched my order quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately the courier service did not recognise the number I was given. Order placed Friday 2 sept it arrived Wednesday 7 sept in Scotland. Very pleased.
