ThinkNeuro, LLC Arvostelua 86

This summer, I was an intern in Think Neuro's Summer Research Internship. I am a senior in high school and decided to participate in this program to gain research experience in a field I am interested in. In the future, I hope to become a psychiatrist and I believe that having done past research in neuroscience will help me be successful in my future classes. My associate was Christine Hattar and she was really good at delegating tasks to all of the interns in my group and making sure we finished all parts of the project in a timely manner. She was communicative and always answered my questions quickly. I enjoyed partaking in this research project, including learning R programming, learning to analyze trends in the Web of Science database, and creating a research poster and abstract. I believe knowing these skills will give me an advantage in the future as I pursue my professional goals, and I am glad to have been provided the opportunity to learn them. I hope to participate in the Think Neuro internship once again in the fall.

As an intern for Think Neuro for more than half a year now, I have enjoyed getting to work with so many different people. Some projects are quite well managed and the associates have a great work ethic. At the same time, some groups are outright unorganized. For example, the most recent summer internship lacked clear communication altogether. While there is room to improve, such as that area, Think Neuro is a good opportunity, mostly for freshmen in high school.

Think Neuro was a great experience as a highschooler. Though I may have not had the same tools or access compared to undergraduates, Think Neuro made it possible so that I was still involved in every way possible. Think Neuro made me feel welcomed and included. However, there were many many difficulties when forming research groups due to the high number of interns. I found this extremely unprofessional because I had done every aspect of my application correct, but was not added to a research group until the end. Overall, Think Neuro was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this to many others!!

Hello! I’m a current rising sophomore (2nd year) at Florida Atlantic University. I found out about Think Neuro through a instagram post. I had originally been looking for research opportunities and was so happy this popped up! A lot of people said it was a scam I assure you
IT IS NOT. I did my research well and did NOT believe in the rumors. On second note, I’m not at all experienced in research but the way Think Neuro handled and taught everyone how to complete a research project was outstanding. Especially the R-Programming. I’d say that is definitely a part I found interesting! I don’t know much about computational stuff but I got to learn some programming along the way with this project! In addition, The Think Neuro team had a perfect plan of creating teams and making people who are experienced in leadership and research an associate. Preethi Nalluru was my associate and she was very smooth on how to complete everything and very simple at explaining especially for beginners like me. We were on track the whole time in getting our information! I conducted research this summer as an intern. As much as I got to complete my first ever research project from background to conclusion, I also got to work with a team and make amazing friends along the way! Totally continuing with this program in the fall!! Very interested in becoming more involved with this organization and possibly getting on the board after more experience :)

It was poorly organized but my associate made it fun

I was an intern during the 2024 summer bibliometrics research internship. I am a sophomore at the University of Virginia, and I think my experience during this internship was a great learning tool that taught me a lot about bibliometrics research, something I didn’t know about prior to this summer, but something that could be very easily used to conduct influential research. I really like working with my team to analyze bibliometrics data, simultaneously learning more about our topic of research and being an influencial member of my team. I would definitely like to participate in future Think Neuro internships as they are a great way to conduct research projects and learn in a more hands on environment.
