Honestly the resources and the very quick response time for any questions or problems during any part of the internship made it such an enjoyable experience. Let it be my associate or co associate or even the PM’s, everyone responded super fast so I was able to resolve my queries in no time with time to work on the project. I really enjoyed exploring beyond what I said was my passion, biochemistry was a field I loved but never thought too much for neurology but through this internship I was able to find out my hidden love for neuroscience. Reading articles and articles of Neurodevelopment Disorders really sparked a lasting passion for neuroscience. And I am really grateful for this opportunity I was given to explore into the vast field of neurology and I would love to do it again; diving deeper into the complex world that resides in our heads. I learnt to R program and how an abstract works and also how to write one. These essential skills are very keen for the research field and thankful to have gained these very important skills through ThinkNeuro. Through the research I did on Neurodevelopment Disorders, specifically media exposure relation to ADHD, made me understand beyond what I knew and how to apply the skills I learnt to research in this very important area of study.

For this 2024 summer internship cohort, I was an associate for 6 other interns, and during the process, I received effective but long-awaited help from two project managers (Ryan Lay, and Nathalie Huang) which is understandable because of the great quantity of interns but still a little ineffective.
As a freshman undergraduate student, I found this internship to be a great tool to refine your leadership or team responsibility abilities, and research-related skills such as data analysis, data extraction, R-programming, and the symposium presentation process during the summer. Based on my experience, the most valuable piece of this whole experience was being able to learn and then guide others through the process as well.
Besides quality experience during the research, another great thing about this is that they offer internships (both competitive and not) during multiple seasons and not only during the summer as commonly seen. I highly encourage you to take on this opportunity and I do plan to join again.

As a summer associate for the Think Neuro Summer '24 internship, it was a great experience for anyone who wants to have a head start in research. My project managers were helpful and responded whenever I had a question. The workload is fair as long as all the work is split up and is done on time. The most impactful part was leading a team to put together multiple products of our research. It was great seeing all of our hardwork to be put into action as a poster, presentation, and an abstract. I will definitely looking forward to join other Think Neuro events as it is a great experience.

I was an intern this summer, and my associate was Gina Mazurenko, she was super helpful and gave me great guidance as I worked through the internship. I am a sophomore in Highschool and Think Neuro has been helping me to explore the field of psychology, which has been an amazing experience for me since I am interested in working in psychology after college. Writing the abstract was the most impactful part of the internship for me, because it was really interesting to see the process by which all of the work my group and I had done was translated into a really thorough and detailed end product. I would like to participate in future Think Neuro internship programs.

I had graduated from freshman year in high school when I joined Think Neuro as an intern for their summer bibliometric analysis internship. This was a very impactful internship that definitely helped refine some basic research skills I have built up through other places and learning by myself. Using data from Web of Science, programming with R, and learning how to present in a professional setting were definitely very important skills for me and I will definitely be using these abilities in the future. Also, throwing together a research ePoster helped me practice my ability to layout information in a way that is easy for everybody to understand. Lastly, the research symposium that the internship culminated in was very meaningful -- I learned quite a few things about neuroscience and advancements in the field from other presentations! I have not fully decided whether I'll be participating in future Think Neuro internship programs because my schedule may fluctuate, but it's definitely something I will be looking into.

For the Summer of 2024, I was an intern in Think Neuro. I'm grateful to everyone who made this event possible. My associate, Eva Mahoney, was extremely helpful and understanding. She was also very responsible and made sure our project ran smoothly. I am currently a high schooler, and the most impactful part of the internship for me was making the research poster and writing a graduate-level research abstract. Overall, this experience was amazing and I would like to participate in future Think Neuro internship programs.

I was an associate during the Think Neuro internship this summer. My assigned project manager was Nicole Ford, and she was an amazing mentor throughout the internship. Nicole was incredibly supportive and provided extensive and detailed answers to all of my questions. Her guidance was invaluable, especially when I encountered challenges. She acknowledged and helped me through times of distress, which made the experience even more meaningful. The only drawback was that she occasionally took some time to respond, but this minor issue was outweighed by her overall dedication and helpfulness. I am a rising 2nd-year undergraduate student in college. The Think Neuro experience has been instrumental in shaping my future career. The skills I gained, particularly in leadership and research, are directly applicable to my aspirations in the medical field. This internship not only bolstered my academic and professional skills but also gave me a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry, which will undoubtedly benefit me as I pursue a career in neuroscience or medicine. The most impactful part of the internship for me was recording the oral presentation and presenting at the symposium. As someone who loves presenting, these activities allowed me to showcase my communication skills and gain confidence in delivering professional presentations. Additionally, the internship's overall professional environment and the opportunity to engage in tasks like creating a research ePoster and contributing to a graduate-level research abstract made this experience truly enriching. I will definitely be participating in future Think Neuro internship programs. The experience was incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to further opportunities to grow and learn with Think Neuro.

My journey with Think Neuro began with the Winter 2024 Clinical Research Internship. This unique experience enhanced my resume and research skills and opened doors for professional connections to get into professional school. Most recently, I had the privilege of serving as a Project Manager for the Summer 2024 Bibliometrics Research Internship. As an incoming undergraduate senior, leading and educating multiple teams on research was a significant leadership experience that I can now highlight in my professional school applications. The bibliometric research we conducted is an exceptional opportunity for high school and college students to gain valuable and respected research experience, which can be leveraged in a college setting. My role involved guiding teams in creating a graduate-level research abstract, poster, and presentation and providing general advice throughout the process. I joined ThinkNeuro for the first time in Summer 2024, where I was fortunate to lead a team as an associate, gaining valuable management experience. I had the pleasure of working with an enthusiastic and diligent team, who consistently completed their tasks on time. Despite the challenges of working across different time zones, communication was well managed. I also had the opportunity to interact with excellent project managers and coordinators. While I would have appreciated more instruction on using RStudio, I understand the curriculum's design given the limited time commitment. Overall, it was a great experience!

I was an intern for this summer's internship. I worked in neuroeconomics and my associate was Sriswetha Sakthivel. She was extremely helpful and driven as she strived to make the project, and its associates, the very best it could me. I am currently a rising junior in high school, and I feel that Think Neuro Inc.'s summer internship and symposium was an extremely beneficial in honing my research, collaboration, and professionalism. I certainly will use what I learned in Think Neuro in the future and will carry these skills onto every job or internship I undertake in the future. Personally, the highlight of my internship was creating posters and presentations for the symposium. It was so gratifying to see months of research (using Web of Science) and data analysis (using R programming) culminated into one project. The invaluable skills and experiences I have acquired from Think Neuro's summer internship have convinced me to come back to the summer internship next year, and the following.

The internship was a good amount of commitment and work, I really felt involved a good amount. The closing symposium struggled a bit with organization but everything else was great, shoutout to my associate Ashley for giving me such a great time :D

My time as a ThinkNeuro intern taught me very useful skills in researching as well as creating a research poster. Through the two sessions I did with ThinkNeuro I found and connected with a lot of wonderful people while learning useful skills that will benefit me in the future. Overall, I think ThinkNeuro is a great opportunity for those who are interested and passionate in neuroscience research and need a place to get started!

During my internships with ThinkNeuro I was working with Lana Isabel Abad for the fall session and Isabella Pei for the spring session. Both of these associates were amazing in guiding me and our team to building a successful research poster as well as helping with any struggles we had along the way. As a highschool student I can also see the skills I learned during this internship to be used during my time in college as we learned necessary techniques like R-programming and poster designing which can be used towards further research in my career going onwards. I also believe the most impactful part of this internship would be learning R-programming as this will be a key component of what I want to do in my career in the future. Finally, even though I won’t be joining ThinkNeuro for another internship as I am going to college next year, this experience has been more than what I thought it would be when I joined and is a great experience for anyone who is interested in doing research in this pathway.

I was an intern this summer that got promoted to co-associate. My associate was Aarohi Shah. They were incredibly helpful, consistently guiding all the interns and staying deeply involved in the project. Their leadership and support made a significant difference in my experience. I’m currently a junior in high school. My experience at Think Neuro has been invaluable in helping me understand research projects better and clearer. The skills and insights I gained, particularly in neuroscience, will undoubtedly benefit my future academic and research endeavors as I pursue a career in medicine. The most impactful part of the internship was working on graduate-level research. It made me feel more mature and capable of understanding complex topics, which boosted my confidence in my academic abilities. Additionally, it allowed me to connect with peers who share similar interests in neuroscience, positively influencing my personality and broadening my network.

I was a co-associate (interning) this summer. My associate was Tanvi Singh. They were very kind and helpful, as they were organized and timely. I'm a rising Junior in HS. I see my experience at Think Neuro playing a role in my future career by allowing me to gain interest in research and BME. The most impactful part of the internship was being able to learn something new that I had never learned before, as well as learning to write an abstract. However, I feel like it was not that exciting and a little boring at times. I may participate in future Think Neuro internship programs.

As an intern, I had so much fun working with our association, Nisha, who actively communicated with us and gave all the support we needed. I was a high schooler and I think that this experience will help me do research in the future. The most impactful part was probably learning R programming because that was something new and very fun. I hope to continue to participate in these programs :))

My group/associate worked really well together to get everything done in a timely manner and had great communication from the beginning. It has really made me like to do another internship in the future.

An experience like this can be considered as "it is what you make of it" meaning if you put in the time, effort, energy, and continuously participate then you have gained something by the end of the internship. If you do nothing you will not gain anything by the end.

I was a part of the Think Neuro Summer Research Cohort. Like others when I started, I was a little bit skeptical of the entire organization but was quickly proven wrong! Although thousands of students are enrolled in the summer cohort the staff makes efforts to communicate and answer all inquiries. The research conducted was also very fun and I was able to learn a lot.

Excellent! it's a unique program, doing a bibliometric analysis. I'm glad I did it. There is unique value in it. I could see myself putting this bib analysis into other work, as a supplemental component. Learned a lot. Would recommend it. You kind of have to be willing to take on different roles/take charge with a program like this, with how accessible it is, but, again, good skills to have. Good learning exp.
