I purchased a premium 1kg lobster for Christmas Day £45 and when opened up the tail meat was mushy and the claw meat was spongy and watery and all together about 350grams worth, won’t purchase again. I did purchase oysters at the same time and they were lovely. Very disappointed about my Christmas Day show stopper

2nd time ordering from the Wright Brothers from abroad and it was a success. My niece was pleasantly surprised when she received her parcel full of salmon and steaks. Portions were satisfying and tasty. Would recommend and purchase again. Thank you

Oh what stunning main course for Christmas Day! We ordered Salmon encroute for 4-5 and it was very generous in portion size. The tarragon sauce complimented the main beautifully. One of the best meals we’ve had on Christmas Day.

Wright Bros were a great company to deal with from start to finish. Their website is user friendly and all the essential information was at your fingertips. Communication was very good at every step of the way. It’s a tradition in our house to have seafood on Christmas Eve and always a worry for the host… is it going to arrive on time, will it be as good as expected? Yes to both questions. It was really well packed and the contents nestled in a mound of ice packs for the journey to our door. Our Christmas Eve dinner was easy to prepare and delicious. No doubt we will be using Wright Bros next Christmas. Thank you

The delivery was done well but the hot smoked salmon we got was way too salty.
I eat a lot smoked salmon and I’ve never had it this salty.
It was inedible on its own. Was nice in pasta and in a pie.

I purchased four packs of North Atlantic peeled prawns for Christmas Day prawn cocktail starters for ten people. I ended up using three packs as that was sufficient. They arrived very well packaged and on time. The size of the prawns was good. I used Wright Bros because they state the size of the prawns in their description whereas this information isn't always available from others and although they all say they are extra large that is not always the case. The flavour and texture was nice. Happy to recommend Wright Bros for service and quality of fish.

Great Carlingford oysters, excellent service. Will order again.

Really first class fish which is the main thing. Delivered and packaged well and on time. Packaging ensured fish fresh.

Ordered a side of long sliced smoked salmon for our Christmas Day starter course. The salmon was easy to use, the slices came away nice and neatly, and the flavour was exceptional! Delivered in good, cold box and laid flat (which is vital to the easy removal of long neat slices!)

From all the advertising by this company I believed I was buying British products and supporting our fishermen. However what I received was a lobster marked Canadian that was tiny in size and I could have bought for less than half the price in Aldi!
Two dressed crabs that were twice the price of similar size and weight being sold by Ocado and frozen squid which was marked as coming from the Pacific and frozen three years ago!
This is one big con and I have complained to trading standards about it.

Lovely fresh oyster delivered on time. Good communication on actual delivery slot on the day.
A bit pricey but would order again forvspecial occasion.

It arrived on the correct day and tasted delicious.
