Bullshit to advertise as free and then asking for money when trying to download the result

Do not do any transition from PDF Guru; it's a fraudulent company. They have taken 2.98 USD for one single file edit, and later, after 7 days, they have taken 72.07 dollars from my credit card, and promised me that they would refund my money, but have not.

I wish I could give 0. Scammed 49,99 dollars. Also one time subscription was not useful. I wonder how can they authorization.

I am extremely angry and disappointed. I paid ONLY €0.99 for converting one single PDF — and right after that, I received a “confirmation” email saying they will charge €49.90 after 7 days. This was never shown clearly, never agreed to, and is a completely unexpected and shady trick.

This company accesses your payment information in a very sneaky and dishonest way. I consider this a abusive method to take people’s money without proper consent.

I NEVER signed up for any subscription. This feels like a trap designed to trick customers. Very rude, very unethical, and completely unacceptable. Avoid this service!

You think you buy something from them, but hidden very carefully in their terms and conditions, you are signing up for a very expensive and completely useless subscription.

This is fraud.

I was scammed by PDF Guru pdfguru.com.
At first, I only wanted to edit my PDF file. After editing it, I was asked to provide my email address. To download the edited file, I had to pay $0.99 — so I went ahead and paid.

However, after seven days, I suddenly noticed an attempted charge from PDF Guru on my credit card. Thankfully, Apple Pay denied the transaction. When I checked my email, I discovered a small clause stating that “after 7 days of introduction starting from October 31, 2025, you will be automatically charged $49.99 per month.”

I hadn’t noticed this fine print before making the $0.99 payment. What’s worse, another unauthorized $0.99 charge was successfully made to my credit card by PDF Guru without my knowledge.

PDF Guru is a scam. Even cancelling the subscription is intentionally complicated and misleading. If I hadn’t checked carefully, I might have been charged again or failed to cancel the subscription altogether.

All I wanted was to download a single edited PDF file — I never intended to subscribe to any service.

The website is a scam. I used the service to sign a document and was charged $0.99 for the download, and you don’t subscribe to anything for that—you just pay. A week later, they charged $49.99 directly to my account as if I had subscribed to the service. I have been sending emails for 3 days asking them to cancel the subscription, refund my money, and delete my data, but they are ignoring me and asking for all my card details. THE WEBSITE IS FRAUDULENT, DO NOT ACCESS IT.

Thiefs! they debited me multiple times and pretended i subscribed to options which is not true i only clicked on the access of 7 days for 0,99€. i blocked any future transactions and ask for a refund that they are not donig. PURE SCAMMERS

I also got trapped into a subscription package for 49.99. I didn’t think I’d subscribed but they told me I had. Avoid!

I subscribed to a free trial, and I was defrauded £49 after for a full subscription. Do not fall victim

The company is a SCAM and FRAUD. They are fraudulently signing you up for monthly subscription without telling you that this is what they do. You then discover that there is samll text saying this amount is non refundable. You only find out when the automatic payments happen 49.99 euro per month. STAY AWAY FROM IT

not trustworthy, bait offer with the danger of a subscription trap, no serious advertising (advertises free service) and hidden traps. I did not enter into any contract, but then had to pay high monthly fees. Stay away from it.

The company is a scam organisation. They are fraudulently signing you up for monthly subscription without telling you that this is what they do. you only find out when the automatic payments happen 49.99 euro per month. try and stop them. good luck

This company is scam and fraud. I tought I payes 99 cents for just one combined pdf. They started charging 49,99 euro’s a month.

I did the 99c payment as I need to copy one document, ive now been charged 49.99 euro, after 7 days, the chat bot very quick to respond TCs its an outright scam no transparency . if in eu it states 14 days to cancel ? why is rest of the world treated differently.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Do not use this company. they have charge me monthly feed of AUS$76 even after I tried cancelling and they confirmed by email my subscription was cancelled. I had to cancel my bank card to stop this and report them. Do NOT use them.

Don’t even consider this subscription.
It is an overpriced and their features frankly do not work like other programs.
I was charged $49.99 USD for one month not worth the price when you cannot access features !
