Don't order anything unless you like rat poop in your stuff.

I placed an order for mother's day. 1lb lobster meat, 1 pd scallops, 3 pds little neck clams and 2 pds of steamers. The order was shipped at 5pm on a thursday night fedex next day air, they were received in Ohio at 11am the next morning STILL FRESH. The items were packaged nicely and the inside was still cold as they used multiple ice packs. I added a card and the message was actually hand written, rather than printed so that was a nice touch. I would recommend ordering from this company again. My mother was thrilled with all the items she received and they feasted all weekend.

I ordered the Lobster Roll kit for me and my girlfriend to try and WOW! We just moved from New England to Tennessee and needed a little something to cure our home sickness. This went well beyond our expectations! I left a comment about our move in the order and Hailey wrote me the nicest card referring to it. We will be ordering again.

I paid 112.00 for two lobster tails. Upon cutting open the shells to expose the meat, there were blue, purple and black chunks in the meat which had to be cut out of the tail. Ended up with about 4 bites per tail. I sent them pics and they were rude and did not replace them or give money back. They are not nice people to deal with, they don't give a crap about you, just grabbing that money!!! Will never buy from them again!!!!! Don't waste your time or money. A great fish store just opened up in my town!!!! I just ordered two l lb tails for less than 30.00 a piece!! Lobster guy is twice the price. Liberty Fish Market in Liberty NY ROCKS!!!!! My new favorite place of all time to get my lobster on!!!

The food itself was wonderful! I would have given the experience 5 stars for the food but The thing that bothers me most is the false advertising and cost of shipping. I ordered 2 4 person lobsterbakes and 2 half gallons of chowder. It said free shipping -- looked at my invoice and was charge $42.39 for shipping -- called the company and they said yes that was the shipping for the 2 half gallons of chowder -- Really?? So I paid $42.39 shipping on 1 gallon of chowder that I was already paying $43.98 for. So ultimately the chowder cost me over $85 -- That is ridiculous ! as I told the girl on the phone what was a good thing now became a company that I will not recommend.

Wow, terrible service! False advertising! They claim and used to ship Priority Overnight by FedEx. Anyone who does shipping know that package arrives by 1:30 PM the next day. I know first hand as I have ordered countless times in the past. Now they shipped my order UPS next day which will arrive around 8:30PM tonight.

Their staff is rude and argumentative. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

This is the 6th year we have bought from Tim at lobsterguy.com. The crew and Tim are fantastic. The seafood is the best, cold water tasting goodness we have ever had. We just placed an order again.
Tim your help people in the office are amazing.

I ordered 12 lobsters size 2.5-3 pounds on 11-15-2022 delivery. I live in a remote city of 8K people. Thelobsterguy says remote area has a 2pm delivery by window per Fedex but I got the lobsters at 4pm which is the norm for this remote city of Winnemucca, NV. The lobster were still alive and kicking. All the lobsters were hardshell and full of meat. Very delicious lobsters. This was my very 1st time ordering live lobsters and thelobsterguy did a wonderful job. The box was heavy b/c it was filled with ice packs to keep the lobsters alive :) Their prices are the best around. It came out to about 21.50 per pound due to the high Fedex overnight of like 180$ b/c I live so far away :( but still worth every 1$. I will definitely order from thelobsterguy again but gotta save $$$$$$ first, lol. MQT order # 271901

We ordered 8 live lobsters for a family party. They showed up 4 days late. A package of dead, rancid smelling lobsters were dumped our our front porch. The Lobster Guy refused to refund our money and told us to go after FedEx. No answer at their main number and no responses to our emails. Just terrible.

What an absolutely amazing experience. This is my third attempt at ordering Lobster online and the lobster guy was amazing. The lobster was fresh and unbelievably sweet tasting when cooked. The clam chowder was perfect (I did add a stick of butter when I was heating it up). I’m very impressed. The communication via email was detailed and informative. The pricing was very good. I can’t wait until I order from them again.

I am so disappointed with this company, I will never order again. The customer service is horrible. I ordered two dozen salt pond oysters for my boyfriend. The plane was stuck in Memphis for a few hours. By the time it got to Miami the delivery trucks were out. So the package was delivered the next day. I was told by The lobster they put extra gel packs in the box. For two lbs in the shell oysters only one small pack that would fit in my hand. Second lie because I called FedEx these boxes are not refrigerated at all for the overnight stay. In very warm temps. When my boyfriend got them they were all opened except 3 and now they say sorry you didnt insure them. So nothing we can do. Sucks to be you.
It is a rip off they put one small gel pack in there and say it is your fault they were no good. 79.00 in the trash. screw you customer.

Be careful when ordering from the Lobster Guy. I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail and other items. When the order arrived, it was shrimp only! They tried to explain that the cocktail sauce was an extra option. Look up the definition of 'Shrimp Cocktail'? I could have just ordered shrimp that would have been cheaper. This is just another questionable marketing ploy. Whereas the food was good, the deception turned me away.

This business is a joke, Terrible customer service, rude obnoxious no solution other than a sorry go f yourself, i used to order every year last year the food was gross we decided to give it one more try this for Christmas Eve however their computer systems messed up my order for Xmas eve with 9 days till Christmas Eve and i placed this order 2 days ago they have pretty much ruined my traditional Christmas Eve with no solutions this company is horrible i would advise you to go to Mainelosternow or an alternative company. Scrambling to find a company that can get us seafood for Christmas . Stay away from The Lobster guy! 210.00 54.00 shipping what a joke!!

Owner called me personally to tell me next time he’s in my City he’s going to come to my house and beat me head in. Nice business what’s this guy a wanna be gangster? Take your business elsewhere. He didn’t offer any help or a solution just to be a thug.

Ordered 12 lobsters and 2 pounds of steamers for delivery in Amarillo, Texas! Lobster guy didn’t disappoint! Lobsters were delivered alive. We steamed them and they were fresh and delicious! Steamers were delicious, also. I was using a different lobster company and decided to give the Lobsterguy a try. I am now a forever customer! Thank you!

My husband celebrated his 49th... I had a surf and turf Birthday party for him and a few close friends--- honoring social distancing..
A friend had 36 1 1/2 lobsters shipped to us in South Carolina. They were shipped overnight. They left Rhode Isand at 541pm and arrived at 11 am.
Needless to say, What a treat for our quest and my husband.

These lobsters were the best. The delivery was right on the money and all 4 of the lobsters were alive and well. Each lobster were the size I ordered and very meaty. I will definitely order again from the Lobsterguy in the future and I highly recommend them to others.

Fresh, delicious lobster delivered on time to my doorstep, definitely some of the best lobster I've ever had. One pound of meat was enough for 3 people to have large lobster rolls. Can't wait to order again!
