The Good Care Group Arvostelua 

The Good Care Group has now been responsible for the care of my mother for almost two years. She has always been a very independent person and, despite her needs, was very hesitant about having a live-in carer at the start. However, the company was absolutely great in figuring out how to address her concerns, taking time to home in on the most suitable approaches and personalities of carer for her. There is real warmth, trust and respect between her carers and her, and they are clearly very well trained and focussed on managing her various conditions as well as her overall wellbeing, sense of independence and personal space. I live overseas so I especially value the company's excellent approach to communication and, where required, consultation with me on my mother's care. Despite her deteriorating physical and mental condition, the sensitive, caring expertise of the Good Care Company allows my mother to enjoy day to day life with dignity.

We are so grateful we have discovered The GCG. The service they provide enables us to go on holiday and leave my dad with competent and trustworthy carers. The service they provide is excellent, the carers get excellent support from the management team and they do what they say will do. My Dad has Alzheimer's and I can trust that all the carers have appropriate training and understanding to enable them to care for him. He recently had to be admitted for a short stay in hospital whilst we were away and I felt completely confident that the carer could deal with everything and remained at our house until he was discharged so we didn't have to interrupt our holiday, Can't recommend them highly enough.

I shortlisted the Good Care Group after looking for an organisation with an "outstanding" CQC rating and significant nationwide resources. The elderly relative I was helping has now moved back into his own house with a full-time carer, and is very happy with his move. I have been very impressed by the GCG's professionalism and attention to detail. There is only one area where they might think about extending the scope of their service: under the current rules the full time carer requires 15 hours a week time off, and where the person cared for cannot safely be left it is the client's responsibility to find a way of filling the gap. This was one final detail which nearly stopped the whole plan from happening, and if the GCG offered a completely integrated package (both the permanent carer and the reliefs) it would be extremely helpful.

The Good Care Group provided respite Live in Care at short notice on 2 occasions to work alongside my regular team, to deliver complex care. The carers were well trained, professional, friendly and very competent and worked well with my team. The managers and support team were prompt and organised the placements effectively and to suit my needs.

Initial contact with The Good Care Company was most favourable. All questions were answered in a polite, professional and friendly manner. The brochure arrived in the post, the following day. The company offered a face to face interview/assessment in the client’s own home, which was an important key factor. The assessment was carried out in a timely manner, was very comprehensive but without any pressure. It didn’t take long for the paperwork to be completed and I’m pleased to say that an ideal person has been located and is now in situ.

I contacted The Good Care Group seeking a live in carer for my parents on recommendation from a friend. They were kind and supportive from the outset, allowing me time to explain the current situation and needs, they responded throughout in a way that demonstrated a high level of understanding of the specific needs that we required and were empathic throughout.
The care manager demonstrated a highly experienced understanding of our situation, offering solutions, advice and support from the outset and has continued to share the wisdom of her experience. This provided great reassurance that we are able to trust and hand over many of the care needs to her and the live in carers. The live in carer has also shown a great deal of experience, kindness and patience whilst also helping to reassure. Its early days but we have nothing but good things to say of our experience to date!

We found the Good Care Group to be responsive, empathetic and helpful in setting up live-in care for my father recently. The care manager visited us to discuss my father's needs and produced an accurate and detailed care plan. We are very happy with his first live-in carer who arrived a week ago. He has used the plan to quickly understand both my father's physical needs, his preferences and his interests. This has been very reassuring for my father and all the rest of the family.

Very caring and professional company provide live in care to my parents who both have dementia. All the carers have been high quality and we now have an excellent team of 2 male carers ( male carers identified as being the best solution for my parents ) and my parents are very happy content and safe in their own home.

I cannot find fault with the care this company gives my father. The carers all know their job, especially as great efforts are taken to ascertain what my father likes or dislikes. Communication between the carers and the managers is comprehensive and constantly updated. Considerate, professional & hard working are words that come to mind to describe all members of the team I have had dealings with. Most certainly works for us.

We picked TGCG last year for my father who, at 90 was becoming unstable on his feet, weak and needed medication, whilst still wanting to be independent at home. The conditions have been difficult with COVID-19 but our carer has been first-rate: extremely diligent, hard-working and cheerful, as well as knowledgeable. TGCG have been a pleasure to deal with, through our specific manager, who is a very good communicator, puts my father first and listens carefully to any concerns we have.

Exceptional in customer care, forward planning, managing clients needs and carers and all this is done with a very personal touch. I would highly recommend.

Our daughter has two live-in carers who alternate. They are both highly capable, professional and fun, and she feels secure. They have a lot of responsibility, as we, her next-of-kin, live some distance away.

TGCG answers any issues we may raise promptly and efficiently, and we are now confident, after a few inevitable early hiccups, that we work very well as a team. We are immensely grateful for all they do.

An excellent care company. All of my Dads care needs are met. Communication is very good. The company makes every effort to ensure the team of three work very well together making Dad as happy and comfortable as possible in his own home. Could not ask for more.

The Good Care Group has been professional and extremely helpful as care providers to our Mother allowing my sister and I to keep her at home. They listen and respond to our concerns and think about our Mother’s needs and indeed ours. I recommend them highly.

Shortly before Christmas my father's live-in carer had to leave with very little warning. The Good Care Company managed to find someone equally kind, friendly and companionable within 24 hours to replace her. This was remarkable considering current restrictions imposed on us all by the pandemic. We remain impressed by the company's proactive response, and very grateful.

We cannot thank The Good Care Group enough for their care of our parents these last 13 months. We were very concerned that our Dad, who has advanced dementia, would not be able to stay at home with our Mum and TGCG, and particularly a few very special carers, have made this possible. The emotional support provided and constant updates on our parents’ daily life down to seemingly small but very important details has been immeasurable and reassured the whole family that they were very much in safe hands.
