Pirate Heating Supplies is a family‑run online heating supplier operated by Mid Wales Plumbing & Heating Supplies Limited, founded in 2014 by Richard and Diane Burrows. Based in the heart of Mid Wales, we’ve grown over the past decade into one of the UK’s most trusted online specialists for high‑quality plumbing and heating products. Our business originally built its reputation as The EVOHOME Shop, becoming the UK’s leading online stockist for Honeywell Home’s evohome range. That expertise shaped the high standards we continue to uphold today. As our company evolved, we brought everything under one brand — Pirate Heating Supplies — allowing us to focus on delivering a clear, reliable, and customer‑friendly shopping experience. We supply a carefully curated range of premium heating solutions from respected manufacturers including Resideo (Honeywell Home), Intergas, ESBE, Vaillant, Intatec, and Primary Pro. Whether you’re upgrading your central heating, installing smart controls, or sourcing specialist boiler parts, we only stock products we know are dependable, efficient, and built to last. Fast, reliable service is central to what we do. Orders placed before 4pm (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same day via trusted carriers such as Royal Mail and DPD, with most customers receiving their items the next working day. We also offer timed delivery options, weekend services, and the ability to choose a delivery date that suits your schedule. Customers choose Pirate Heating Supplies because we combine competitive pricing with genuine product knowledge and friendly, accessible support. Whether you’re a homeowner fitting your first smart thermostat or a heating engineer needing urgent boiler spares, our team is here to help with product advice, compatibility checks, and order queries. I have bought various eco home products…
I have bought various eco home products from this online shop, over the years, as I have added more controlled zones too the Evohome scheme, and therefore added more HR92 valves to radiators etc. They have always had the V120-15A available, which I have found tricky to source elsewhere at times. The Evo home shop delivers what I need, when I need it. A good service.

Best Evohomeshop in the UK
Best Evohomeshop in the UK. It is an evohome products specialist company and they have very good technical knowledge. You can ask anything about evohome products and they always have the right answer. Their prices are very competitive. They can even set up the system and have it ready to be installed by a competent person.

Vastaus yritykseltä Pirate Heating Supplies
Hi Frieso,
Your order with us was cancelled because our terms and conditions of sale state we do not ship the items we sell to 'Europe or Beyond'. Therefore there is no option at checkout to do this. However, you proceeded to select 'United Kingdom' as your country and then expected our business to ship the items outside of the UK.
I would never dream of buying something from a US or Canadian business, if they only had domestic options. Had you read our terms and conditions of sale properly (you agree to this at checkout) or had emailed our customer service team prior to purchase, you would have been clearly informed of this.
We do not allow couriers to collect items from our business, as this is how criminals also commit fraud.
I am sorry you are clearly frustrated about this, but as we never had the option to allow outside of UK sales, I am unsure why you have decided to leave our business a 1 Star review.
Kind Regards,
Richard Burrows
Director
Fair price, arrived quickly
Item was as described, new and arrived quickly in suitable packaging.
No issue with this company.

Postage expensive for a small item
Postage expensive for a small item. They also failed to mention in any information that the extra adaptor I purchased at ~£12 (as there was no info suggesting I didn't need one), was in fact included in the main valve package.
I would expect better service than this these days for expensive items.

Hi Peter,
Thanks very much for your Trustpilot review.
Firstly, delivery these days is expensive. Anything ordered on our website over £50 cannot be sent with Royal Mail First Class, as they won't cover the insurance. This puts us into the world of couriers. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery or UK Mail for the bulk of our over £50 deliveries, as the price is fair and the service is mostly good. We could use a cheaper courier service, but in our experience for the £1 or so it saves over the UK Mail pricing, it results in unhappy customers when the items don't arrive on time or get lost completely.
As for the Danfoss adaptor complaint, if you check the HR92 page (https://theevohomeshop.co.uk/honeywell-home-evohome/13-honeywell-evohome-hr92uk-radiator-controller-hr92.html), you will see in the main description that 1x Danfoss RA Series adaptor is included. There is also a comprehensive 'Help & Advice' section on our website, which has a section we wrote to aid customers to make the choices if they needed adaptors or not (https://theevohomeshop.co.uk/content/9-honeywell-evohome-hr92-radiator-valve-compatibility). In this section, we state that if you have Danfoss RA Series TRV's, the adaptors are 'supplied' with the radiator controllers.
You also have the option to return the item if it is unused and not needed, for a refund within 30 days of delivery, so certainly not a closed door should you wish to return the £12 adaptor you have purchased unnecessarily.
If you require any further help, please reach out and our team will be happy to support.
Kind Regards,
Richard Burrows

Good service and competitive price
I used evohome to buy x2 sets of the smart thermostats and then came back to buy the TRV body connectors. Very pleased with the advice provided and the price was competitive.
I will come back for other needs and I would recommend.

The Honeywell evo home service is fantastic...
Absolutely chuffed to bits with the service Tom and Richard and their team did for us...
We needed 4 zones with 23 radiators separated...
The in house service pairing your zones was a walk in the park to install.
Highly recommend this team and the service they provide.
Massive 110% will be using them again soon as we can.
