We have just had a few days at the Blackberry Chalet and OMG it did not disappoint. The chalets are absolutely stunning. They are so clean, spacious and had everything we needed and more. The setting was so beautiful and peaceful. The equipment we needed for my daughter was excellent. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for having us!

I have been meaning to write this review since our holiday in June so my apologies for the delay. We decided to look further afield from our usual east coast holiday for our break this year. We are a family of 4 plus Arlo the spaniel. My sister is in a wheelchair so it’s always tough finding accommodation for a wheelchair & a non assistance dog. I stumbled across the Estuary & immediately called a family gathering to look at the website. It was decided that this would be our holiday destination. Elaine was fabulous from our initial enquiry until our return home. We stayed in BlackBerry & what a lovely high spec’d, light, airy, spacious & beautifully decorated chalet. It had everything (and more) that we needed for our break. We don’t have Alexa at home so dad thought that was a real treat & she even put some Elvis Presley on for him… It is situated in such a quiet area, with the odd hare running around & the noise of horse & riders passing by. The view of the Estuary is just lovely & the balcony enabled us to sit outside on the sunny day we had & soak up the fresh air. Sadly we had to come home early due to illness which was such a shame but you will not be disappointed if you holiday there. Elaine & Co you should be very proud of what you have achieved. You have thought of everything & I am sure that other families in a similar situation to us would appreciate the time & thought you have put in to making the properties so suitable. Thank you xx

Elaine is such a lovely host - she makes sure you have everything you would need for your visit.
We have been back several times and will come back each year.

We were a large family group who rented both lodges at The Estuary.
We had an absolutely brilliant time. The lodges were clean well equipped and comfortable. Everything has been thought of, and the equipment provided for my disabled nephew was brilliant. Elaine the owner was so helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
We would definitely recommend and hope to return again!

A superb view only rivalled by the stylish interior! The hosts have provided everything we could need which is exceptional when requiring an accessible home from home for a disabled adult. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, I would definitely recommend a visit but not before I’ve booked my next stay 😁

This was far more than a holiday for my mum and me — it was the gift of precious time together.
Finding somewhere that was genuinely accessible, peaceful and comfortable meant so much to us, and The Estuary Riverside Chalets exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt able to relax and enjoy each other’s company without any worries or pressures.
The setting is beautiful. We spent hours sitting together looking out across the estuary, watching the changing views, wildlife and spectacular sunsets. Seeing the sheep and their lambs nearby added an extra touch of charm and made our stay even more memorable.
The chalet itself was luxurious, spotless, spacious and thoughtfully designed. Accessibility has clearly been considered throughout, without compromising on comfort or style. Everything felt welcoming, practical and easy to use, allowing us both to enjoy our stay to the fullest.
The location offered the perfect balance. When we wanted peace and quiet, we had stunning surroundings and complete tranquillity. When we felt like exploring, there were plenty of lovely places nearby to visit, eat and enjoy.
Most importantly, this stay gave us the opportunity to create special memories together that we will treasure for years to come. The care, attention and thought that have gone into creating these chalets is evident in every detail.
Thank you for providing such a beautiful, accessible and welcoming place. It was a truly wonderful experience and one we will never forget.

We've just got back after a third visit to this beautiful place the accommodation is just wonderful everything is thought about when it comes to this place the 1st day we arrived we got to watch them hay bailing it was like a scene from Clarkson farm it was wonderful to watch the young lad we support thought it was brilliant then we watched them wrap the hay .we also woke up to the sheep and lambs bouncing around the field we absolutely love it here it's so accessible and as everything you need. we also tried the cafe they shared on there facebook page which is a 5 min drive which was lovely so reasonably priced the cakes and milkshakes are great! untill next time estuary thankyou Hayley and grecia xx

The place we stayed was outstanding as usual. Everything was catered for.

Fully accessible holiday let. Lots of equipment available to meet your needs. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Very modern. Great views and private veranda. Cool gadgets. The owners have put alot of thought into what they provide and it shows. Lots of little touches included. We will definitely be returning. Owners very helpful and available if needed. Even organised for my brother to bottle feed a lamb they had.

Just returned from the Estuary Riverside chalets and need to give an excellent well deserved review. The holiday was truly memorable.
The setting is stunning overlooking the estuary and a field filled with sheep and lambs. So quiet and peaceful.
The accommodation is modern and fresh and well equipped with everything included.
Finding accommodation that meets the needs of our disabled sons can be difficult but Estuary have certainly surpassed.
The hosts, Elaine and Tony, are so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. They are on hand if needed and offer lots of pre-visit information so everything runs smoothly.
There is lots to do within the locality but to be honest we were happy relaxing in Blackberry chalet.
Can’t think of anything that the Estuary haven’t thought of to make the holiday any better.
Loved it and will definitely be returning asap.

We recently had a 4 night stay here. The chalet is fantastic and the setting beautiful. We were travelling with our son who is a full time wheelchair user and it made our holiday so much easier to have the equipment he requires provided and especially not being asked to pay extra for this.
The chalet is very spacious and we loved all the features like the automatic blinds and the robot hoover! My son was able to access the whole chalet thanks to the wide doorways and spacious rooms. The deck was great for sitting out and having a drink or meal. It was very peaceful but the village was just a couple of minutes drive away if we needed anything.
Booking was easy and we had great communication - the owners are lovely.
The highlight of the stay for my son was the sheep and lambs right next to the chalet! We will definitely be returning next year, hopefully for a longer stay

We stayed at Blackberry chalet and the place was even better than we thought it was going to be. Definitely 5 star all round.
It had everything that my husband needed with plenty of room to move around. All the furniture, fixtures and fittings were excellent quality. The whole place was spotless and even had milk and chocolates in the fridge.
The location was absolutely stunning, so peaceful and tranquil. I loved waking watching the lambs and hares running around in the fields.
We will definitely be booking again.

Firstly, i need to apologise to Elaine and her husband for the delay in posting this review. Unfortunately, we have been dealing with a number if difficult family situations over the last few months, which has taken its toll on us.
The chalet was absolutely gorgeous and had every comfort and convenience we could have wished for, and the views from huge windows were stunning. We were also very impressed with the personal attention and support Elaine gave us from the start of the booking process and throughout our time at the chalet to ensure that everything we needed was ready and available to us.
For anyone seeking disabled accommodation I would certainly recommend these fantastic modern chalets. As mentioned earlier, Elaine couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The chalets have been very carefully thought through, with every conceivable aid you can think of readily available.
My family and I would most definitely stay here again.

10/10 ! We had a fantastic few days at “Bramble” the chalet was 100% accessible and all are mobility needs were met inside and outside of the property. We had a large electric wheelchair and additional aids were added by the fabulous hosts to make it a real home from home. Complete stress less stay in a fantastic holiday in a beautiful location! 😊

Visiting family. Not very far to travel and visiting places of interest which, we love

Fantastic! We stayed in Bramble and it was amazing. The views, the comfort, cleanliness, gadgets and equipment were all exceptional. It's a little off the beaten track, but that means that it's peaceful and relaxing. Fleetwood, Cleveleys and Blackpool are only 20 to 30 minutes drive and there are an abundance of places to eat nearby - many of them dog friendly. The electric vehicle charging point was also a bonus as we didn't have to worry about finding somewhere to charge the car. Elaine is great with her communication and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Wonderful long weekend at both Riverside Chalets. Large family from 8 to 80 and these properties were perfect for us all. My nephew is in a wheelchair and he had all the equipment he could need for a comfortable family celebration weekend. Properties had everything we needed and the owners went above and beyond for us all. We loved the location, very peaceful with ever changing views and inside the property itself was first class and so much so booked again before we left. Can't wait to return in the summer. Thank you again Elaine & Tony for a very special birthday weekend. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely spacious, light , stylish and warm lodge with loads of tech. Ideal for wheelchair users. Elaine was very helpful and she had thought of everything you might need. Highly recommend it.
