Digital switch over enquiry
Very helpful during our phone call regarding the digital switch over. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff who gave us great advice and dispatched all of the equipment that we needed in a very timely manner.

Moving with the times.
Have been with Telecare24 for some years now and recently was obliged to update my system to accommodate EE going digital. This change involved some extra expense and inconvenience as my wall unit now has to be located near the EE hub which is in a different place to where I usually am during the day. We have yet to test whether I will be able to hear the people at Telecare if I have an emergency. The system will be irrelevant if this proves impossible, they tell us this is progress!

Digital Set Up
Have used Telecare for over 4yrs & have always had good service when needed. I recently changed over to the digital system & once again service was "spot on." New equipment arrived within 24 hrs of order & was simple to set up . (Just plugged it in & that was it !)

I am out and about so have the item around my neck. Wanted fall alarm for my wife should I be out.
Ordered by phone no problem with very helpful assistant.
Everything explained and information recorded for records.
Really pleased with her item but she finds it rather big and heavy for her 93 year old arm. Would rather have one just around the neck if that was possible.

We completely understand your wife's concern about the size and weight on her wrist. Because of how the fall sensor technology works, our automatic fall detection model is only available as a wrist-worn option.
If wearing it on the wrist isn't comfortable for her, we do have the option to downgrade her to our standard neck pendant plan. While this can be worn comfortably around the neck, please keep in mind that the standard pendant does not feature automatic fall detection, she would need to manually press the button to call for help.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review, and we are sorry to hear about your father’s experience back in June. We completely understand how concerning this situation was for you and your family.
Our support team has been in touch via email to address all of your queries, but we would like to clarify the details here as well:
Testing history: While our records indicate the button itself had only been pressed once in two years, the device had not been tested for 14 months prior to the incident (rather than 8 weeks).
We have thoroughly tested the original unit and confirmed there were no mechanical or software faults with the device itself. Unfortunately, the battery had simply depleted over time. Because the device went extended periods without an active test signal, our system was unable to detect the low battery state before it went flat.
To prevent unexpected battery depletion and ensure every unit remains fully operational, we strongly recommend testing the device every 4–6 weeks.
We can see that a replacement device has already been dispatched and set up for your father, so everything should now be fully functioning and active. Please don't hesitate to reach out directly to our support team if you need any further assistance or help setting up a routine testing schedule.

Very simple online ordering
Very simple online ordering. I phoned the support helpline a couple of times and no questions were too much trouble to answer. Very courteous and helpful.
The system arrived via Royal Mail very quickly in spite of the website saying there maybe a short delay in delivery.
Set up was very easy and test call answered quickly and knew who was calling.
