What a joke! Never again will I buy anything from this outfit. Had a new refrigerator delivered and the delivery guys could do the install as the waterline was leaking. The gentlemen suggested we go to Home Depot and buy a part which would fix the problem. So we did. But we still had leaking so we called the Pickering store and they said because we tried to fix it they would charge us $250 to send someone over. The store manager(Brian) was useless so we elevated to the Head office. They refused to provide us any level of customer service either.
Be advised, their service after the sale is disgusting. I will never spend another dime with them.

We purchased all kitchen appliances and were told a week prior to installation that the oven combo was backordered. While I understand that this happens, no one from Tasco offered any help (sourcing elsewhere or rental oven).
When finale installed, installed didn‘t have required tools and left all boxes behind.
All in all, poor customer service experience with no ownership or tangible customer support, just emotional words.
Complete waste of time
Complete waste of time. Purchased a bar fridge that broke in less than a year. Had to chase Tasco for 6 months for warranty repair. Repair was supposed to be in home. Repair not completed and Tasco said they would replace. They never did and refused in home delivery and pickup that they said was included on original purchase. Will never buy from tasco again and I do not recommend.
An ongoing nightmare
I ordered a built in oven with cooktop on top of it. John offered delivery date and install date but neglected to offer a site visit. There was concern from my cabinet maker that it wouldn't fit but John wrote an email to show that it would fit. Well it didn't fit. After 2 visits from installers it is still sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor.
Don't waste your time
I went to the store knowing the dishwasher I wanted and the purchase experience took less than 15 minutes. Rep was happy to make the sale and I was promised delivery/installation a week later. During that week I must have received 4 emails asking me about the service and my experience.
When the installer arrived with the machine he asked me if I had ordered an unboxed item. I told him I had not and he said he thought it was strange as it was not on the order. He explained I did not have to accept it and we should call the sales rep. The rep said he would look into it and as an aside, 3 weeks later I have not heard from that man. With the installer still waiting to see the status of the unit we tried a store manager. No one could find out the origins of the unboxed unit.
The installer filed a report and took the unit with him.
I waited for two days for someone at Tasco to contact me and there was silence. I called the store day 3, spoke to some managers and a customer relations employee. By day 5 they said they would order me a new unit and that all this was my fault because the unit was actually new...just not in a box??
This was basically the tone from the store; rude and very dismissive. When I set a date for the new unit to be installed I received an email the next day saying because I had not responded in time, my installation date would be moved to a future date. That was my sign to get away from this disorganized, unprofessional mess of a business. I went in person to get my money back and they said they couldn't refund me then because there were other channels to go through. When I complained the manager was sure to tell me just how long they had been in business.
For the final straw, the next day they said they would return my money less $100 for the delivery of the unboxed unit....ludicrous!
I then found a sympathetic person in customer service to return the full amount and kudos to her for being appalled at the situation.
End result....no dishwasher, 4 hours spent on phone calls, extra visit to the store and not one apology or follow up.
Save yourself the headache and purchase elsewhere!!

The sales person put the wrong SKU into their system and I was delivered the wrong unit. This is completely unacceptable behaviour. Now I am not allowed using my dishwasher, waiting on a replacement at "some point in the future". I stayed away for 10 years and regret going back.

Bought brand new appliances from Kitchenaid
Bought brand new cooktop, combo microwave/oven from Tasco. The sales person was great but the Kitchenaid appliances (in particular, the microwave oven combo) were the worst appliances I’ve ever had. A service call to Kitchenaid was placed on February 10/25 and the next day, a service person came to look at the situation and said he needed to order a part and would be back in two weeks. 6 weeks later and I’m still waiting for the new part to be installed. I’ve call the service department 7 times and they keep giving me the run around. I would not recommend Kitchenaid to my worst enemy……it’s complete garbage!!!! Service is unavailable and they do keep insisting for me to purchase an extended warranty. How ironic since the warranty doesn’t work!

This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The sales staff were not only unhelpful but also shockingly rude and dismissive. Their condescending attitude made it clear that they have no regard for customer satisfaction. Instead of assisting, they treated me with complete disrespect, as if my business didn’t matter. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs.

Tasco has proven to be a total disaster in terms of delivery, installation and most importantly, customer service. We bought an entire kitchen appliance suite. The installers showed up the first day and left without doing a thing. The fridge door trims kits were provided incorrectly - twice. The drinks fridge didn't work for over a month after "installation". To add insult to injury, the installers left scratches on the new floors - in two locations. And Tony from Tasco just blew off our designer's calls to get them to make things right. The premium priced retailer of appliances in Toronto delivers like a two bit discounter.

Purchase of four major appliances & Range Hood Fan
Based on many of the posted reviews, I was reluctant to deal with this company. However, my experience turned out to be a positive one. The salesperson, Delroy was very helpful throughout despite my indecision on my choice of appliances. Tasco service department was in contact with me throughout the process. Delivery & installation were reasonably timely. I would not recommend the Whirlpool stove which I purchased but overall, I am pleased with the other purchases.

Worst experience ever

Absolutely the worst experience we've ever had as a consumer. NEVER go to Tasco.

lt's amazing that every review l have read is the same experience one way or another as mine is. White glove service get your $13,000.00 warranty almost up no response from anyone. Called store about my dishwasher and a warranty package and service ticket for my dishwasher which they closed after first service spoke to sales women who sold us the appliances on . Said she would do everything as soon as she was off the phone. Open ticket and send prices for warranty. Only wanted again to sell no open ticket and no prices. Again when you get thorough the call service (l'm sorry , l'm sorry etc.)
Some women seemed right on top of the situation will send messages to Adrian (customer service) Allan Mc Donald (customer service). Response, will get back to you when we hear from manufacture . Haven't heard.
By the sounds of it this company scams you after purchases, everyone seems to have a problem with appliances and service, and customer service.
This dishwasher (Cafe) never stops beeping even when you walk by.
Maybe only solution is to contact Media let everyone to beware.

We bought a new Whirlpool side by side fridge that arrived February 27, 2021. As a new fridge the cost was $2152.63 Cdn including tax. In April, 2024, around 37 months later, there was an observable problem with the ice maker. Water flowed all over the front door on the freezer side of the fridge.
I called a Whirlpool repair company. The technician came out 5 times as the issue kept reoccurring. After paying upwards of $1800 they said they could not repair the ice maker issue and left.
I contacted Whirlpool Canada customer care suggesting assistance and remuneration. The response was insulting!
They offered me a 15% discount for a new fridge!
Obviously, Whirlpool makes poor quality fridges and practices zero customer care.
Again, do not buy Whirlpool!

A nightmare with delivery and installation dates
A nightmare with scheduling order, delivery and installation. TASCO invoice states that payment 7 days before inventory is reserved for delivery. I requested a delivery date of April 26 and paid in full over $20,000 on April 2nd. No one from store confirmed any inventory for 10 days until I checked with them and then they said I had to wait until late May for my appliances! I booked a whole month off work to give them the buffer required to deliver /install my appliances and still they are refusing to delivery on my requested date after hours so that I won't miss more time off work. Now the managers will not take my phone calls and I still don't have an installation date. I have no kitchen and no way of preparing home cooked meals now for close to one month!

Circular warranty denial…
Ordered Samsung Washer/Drier through Tasco which was delivered Feb.11, 2023. Both were defective on delivery. The Washer was determined to need replacement by the service company technician for Samsung and likewise for Tasco. Samsung tech said they won't replace since they think damaged in shipping. Tasco won't do anything since they say its the manufacturer that decides. Absolute scam !!!!

Purchased A kitchen aid refrigerator built-in almost one year ago. I was told I had to pay in full so that KitchenAid knew it was sold paid $10,500.
Now I’m told a year later that they have discontinued that model. How is that possible when it was paid.
Tried to speak to a supervisor at Tasco have not received any calls back. How can they take your money and just tell you it’s discontinued just like that

Tasco is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. We ordered a fridge last May, finally got it delivered in November (while being pressured to pay in full well before they knew anything about an actual delivery date) and lo and behold, the fridge is a disaster. Doors not aligned, crispers don’t slide in and out, ice dispenser issues. One guy finally came and replaced the main door and actually made the situation worse. Dealing with TASCO, Whirlpool, JC Services and Appliance Pros, all for the same fridge, has been horrible. No ownership of issues, no continuity with service people and a complete lack of coordination has been the problem from Day 1. NEVER buy from TASCO. They are order takers at best.
