Tailor Made Rail Arvostelua

Great itinerary and hotels . Thoroughly enjoyed it

Trains all fine
Time in each location was perfect.
Communication from yourselves very good
Hotel in Bologna one of the best ever stayed in. Facilities, service, cleanliness and breakfast. Friendly too.
B&B in Ravenna very good. Staff great and breakfast good.

The ability to speak to someone on the phone. It was a very positive booking. And we enjoyed the trip very much knowing that Taylor Made Rail were on the other end of the phone.
Thank you.

The well organised trip to Turkey was one big geography lesson and I enjoyed it very much.

Our itinerary was well laid out and easy to follow.
The trains in Romania and Bulgaria a were definitley
a step down from those in the west.

Easy to book and speak to someone as opposed to a robot, especially as our plans had to change due to illness and a massive thank you to Amy who helped us through when I had to be hospitalised. Lovely hotels, clear train instructions and wouldn't hesitate to book with the company again.

Well organised and perfect for a first time rail holiday in Europe. The tickets came well before departure and were clearly laid out on one document which we could download onto our phones. The hotels were super close to the railway stations and of a good standard generally. Having enough time to explore in the evening made it more enjoyable too.

We have entrusted TMR to organise our bespoke rail journeys through Europe on many occasions over the past few years and have always had very positive experiences.
My wife and I are just back from our latest adventure to France and Italy and have nothing but praise for the way that TMR listened to our ideas and requests and then put together a package that exactly met our needs.
Travel arrangements went without a hitch and the recommended hotels were just what we had hoped for.
We have absolutely no reservations in recommending TMR to meet your travel requirements and are already planning our next year’s journeys which we will leave the TMR team to fine tune.

We use this Tailor Made Rail to book all our travel arrangements as e travel across Europe with our wheelchair user adult son. They are always, the whole team, professional, helpful, caring and efficient. We cannot rate them more highly. The team are fantastic. Always on hand when booking and more importantly when you are away and need assistance. This is very important to us whilst traveling where extra assistance is a must, non negotiable requirement.

All rail bookings easily followed and recommended hotels ideal. Any problems promptly resolved. We would have had great difficulty making these arrangements ourselves.

They booked everything and when needed they updated a booking to get around an issue.
The holiday went like clock work.

The recent trip was again very enjoyable as we knew the hotels would be excellent and also the travel arrangments good. It's so nice not having to organise train tickets and the inter rail ticket is brilliant no messing around with separate tickets. Thoroughly recommend TMR.

Loved this holiday, travelling by train is much more fun than aeroplane .
A bit hetic at times , with some trains cancelled or changed, Definatley need to use the apps for the individual train companies to get updated information. Felt a bit like race around the world on one part of the trip!
There was a lot of information to process but we managed without needing extra support from the company
It seemed good value for money and the hotels were very good .

Tailor Made Rail were excellent from the first phone call to book the holiday. They provided the interail pass, booked all hotels and provided a complete instruction guide and itinerary for the whole trip. They advised which rail apps to download so we were kept updated on live rail journeys and timings and made the whole process ‘idiot-proof’ which was ideal for us foreign rail novices 😭.
They were a mere phone call away for advice when trains were delayed or cancelled and rail connections seemed unlikely- I really couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Tailor Made Rail were brilliant from start to finish. They suggested a great route, listened to our thoughts and made required changes. Tickets and documents all arrived well in time for the trip and they were on the end of the phone for a few changes whilst we were away - all were made with no fuss. The hotels booked were all in really good locations and generally three star or more. I could not recommend them more - we would definitely be using them again and I gather my parents have already been in touch for their next holiday! Thank you all - everyone we spoke to was so lovely and helpful and we had a fantastic holiday.

First rate service - made planning and travelling our Nordic rail adventure a breeze.

As usual we felt we were in good hands. Reassuring to have TMR tell us of an Italian rail strike and automatically solve the problem!

An excellent holiday in Locarno. The hotel was of a good standard and situated on the lake. The transport arrangements went without a hitch and the hotels in Strasburg & Basel were of a good standard and situated conveniently for the railway stations. The journey back on the Gotthard Panorama Express and the sail along Lake Lucerne was one of the highlights.

Experience of tailor made rail was very good, things worked well, documentation and related help was excellent and when some timing issues cropped up the way they were dealt with were timely and effective.

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday, and the customer service was brilliant all round. From the very beginning, communication was excellent, and we always felt listened to and well looked after.

We said we wanted to experience Lake Bled, Slovenia, by train — and wow, did they deliver! The whole experience was fantastic and everything was organised so smoothly.

There were a couple of little niggles while we were away, but to be fair, these were absolutely nothing to do with Tailor Made Travel.

For example, we did have an issue with a bus driver telling us that we were on the wrong bus, only for the bus to then leave without us! We had to buy additional tickets, although it actually worked out better in the end as we managed to get a direct bus.

The day-to-day itinerary was brilliant and really helpful. The only thing I would suggest is that, for sections of the journey where we needed to pay extra locally, it might be useful to mention this on the itinerary - for example, taxis or subway journeys between places. It would just help with budgeting and knowing what to expect.

Overall, though, these were only very minor points and certainly didn’t take away from what was a fantastic holiday.

A huge thank you for making our holiday so special. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough! 🇸🇮🚆✨

Excellent customer service from first enquiry to completion of holiday. They organise everthing you want for you
