I initiated my claim with Swipe on 5th February but still pending
I initiated my claim NCL/SP/00101513/HAS-1 with Swipe on February 5th 2025 which is still pending after more than 1 month i provided all the required documents promptly. The only issue pending was proof of usage. Despite multiple conversations with customer support, where I was told to provide my bill, I submitted they rejected again, i speak with support they said next month’s bill i submitted that one as well.
My network provider, Sky, does not provide the specific documents Swipe demanded(Prof of usage). After numerous requests, Sky provided a custom document containing the IMEI number, purchase value, purchase date, first date of usage, and last date of usage. Initially, Swipe’s support team accepted the bill as an alternate document, but their emails stated otherwise. In their second-to-last email, they mentioned they only needed itemised information from bill and that's all what they needed, which I provided.
Unfortunately, I also attached the custom document which i got from Sky after extensive efforts and numerous calls. Sky informed me that Swipe has the authority to contact them directly if there are any questions, and that the provided documents should suffice for all insurance claims.
Swipe’s response time was 2 business days but now they put my case under management review from last week and they said we haven't any timeframe when you will get response. My concern is why Swipe insists on a document that Sky does not have, especially when the bill contains all the necessary information, including call, internet package, and other details. Alternatively, Swipe could directly contact Sky for further information.
This situation has become very frustrating.

I recently upgraded my phone, when I called Swipe they made the whole process really easy. All documents emailed over straight away. I've never had to make a claim so can't comment on how easy that is. I've used this company for the last 3 years.

I made a claim on December 9th and uploaded all the required documents on time. As of December 23rd, my claim is still under review. Every two working days, they request additional documents, and even if you upload them immediately, they take another two working days to respond. This process is incredibly frustrating. Every time I call, they tell me the matter has been escalated to higher management, but they can't provide a clear timeframe.

Please avoid this company at all cost. Regardless of their pricing for adverts. It’s all a nonsense. They will take every step to reject your claim instead of helping you. I reported my phone stolen and was asked to provide,
-proof of usage,
-proof of blacklist,
-proof of purchase,
-proof reported to police
-proof of iCloud profile showing the device
-proof phone is in lost mode,
-Proof of ID
After providing all the documents, it will still be invalid. Every time it’s a 2 day wait time. Spoke to few collegues and they each said different information,
Please please don’t waste your time and money here. You’ll be asked for tons of documents and still get rejected
