SV Sports Therapy Arvostelua 

Thanks to Sophie I am on my way to the London Marathon. Saw Sophie with a foot and leg injury from over use during training and with her magic touch and great advice I am now well on my way.

Also, saw her team at the Brentwood Half and had a great post run massage.

After running in the 2026 Brentwood half marathon I went to the SV Sports Therapy area for a shoulder massage.
It was brilliant. The therapist quickly spotted tightness in my right shoulder and the massage therapy used was very thorough and effective. Very, very good value for money. If I lived in Essex I wouldn't hesitate to get treatment from SV Sports Therapy.

SV Therapy is a fantastic place to go if you’re serious about looking after your body and staying on top of your training.

I’ve now had two treatments with Sophie and Rekas, and I’ve been really impressed with the level of care and professionalism throughout.

With a background in high-impact training, I carry a number of ongoing injuries and areas of tightness. Before each treatment, they took the time to carry out a thorough assessment, which made a huge difference in ensuring the treatment was tailored specifically to what my body needed.

Their knowledge is clear from the outset, and everything is explained in a way that makes you feel confident and reassured. Most importantly, they created a really comfortable environment, which allowed me to fully relax and get the most out of the sessions.

This is something I’m now factoring in as part of my training routine, and I’ll be visiting the clinic at least every two to three weeks.

I’d highly recommend SV Therapy, especially if you’re dealing with training-related injuries or looking for a personalised and professional approach.

I have been treated by SV staff for many years and have always found that are very helpful in diagnosing and treating me and my wife. If and when I next need physio treatment, I’ll be contacting S V Sports.

I brought my son in due to a knee issue, osgood schlatter disease. I had this myself as a child. Sophie’s care and attention to detail has been amazing, after diagnosing the issue very quickly, Sophie came up with a plan for both mobility and strength around the knee. We visited every 6 weeks until the pain had stopped. In each visit the plan was tweaked as strength and mobility got better. As a runner and ultra runner/walker, I'm quite prone to injury! I've been undergoing maintenance treatment at SV for around 18 months now and I can honestly say it's made a huge difference to my overall running and physical health.

Reka is knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and her treatments are always exactly what I need.

I tore my Achilles tendon of 3 long distance races on consecutive weekends back in July.

I kinda sat on the injury hoping it would more or less heal over time . But got to the point where something has to be done as not being able to run was really getting to me.

I saw Reka in a free 15 minute appointment 2 weeks or so ago and we discussed what had happened and some ideas of how to move forward.

I was impressed by her attitude and made me feel like a person and not just a client/ number.

I booked in for a massage today and to get some work done on the Achilles and for a deep tissue massage on my legs.

She'd given me some tasks / exercises at home that although we're tough I'm sure will bring dividends as time goes by.

She was perfectly willing to answer any questions I had during the massage as we chatted and gave me guidance on how to move forward with my running to minimise future problems and issues.

Sophie was amazing! Partially tore my bicep through rock climbing and her knowledge, confidence physical work she did really put me at ease. Always tried to fit me around her schedule too which was great :)

Sophie has provided an excellent service for a variety of muscular and joint ailments. With her support I have managed to keep my ageing body from breaking down! She is extremely knowledgeable, with a most professional manner and understanding of the practical needs of people like me who want to continue to exercise regularly, with her careful advice on managing an injury, while she helps me recover.

Sophie is amazing at her work. I would highly recommend her for anyone with aches or pains in the body, especially as a result of playing sports. She is very professional and knowledgeable and has helped me on a few occasions.

I came to see Reka as I had pulled a muscle in my leg. She identified what was wrong very quickly, which was that I was not stretching before exercising.

Reka gave a massage to my legs like I’ve not had before and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt, but the gains were worth it. I left pretty much back to normal.

After a few simple instructions I now knew what to do. I booked a follow up to check I was going in the right direction and thankfully, I was. My running improved and the aching afterwards was less.

I’ll go back in the future for an MOT just to keep on track.

I suffered sepsis following a 10k run that led to a week in hospital and 3 months on crutches. The Consultant said I was lucky I didnt lose my leg. I started seeing Sophie on a weekly basis for over a year and then monthly. I can now jog and walk significant distances. Sophie has been instrumental in my recovery over a 3 year period. I am local to Loughton and injured myself playing football and called SV therapy for a physio consultant as I did not want to go to the emergency room. Sophie was very helpful on the phone and booked me an appointment with Tyler for later that same day. He was very helpful and informative and did a Thompson test on me and gently broke to news to me that unfortunately I had torn my achillies and recommended I go to the hospital as soon as possible for a scan (which proved him to be correct). He sent me an email to follow up which I received later that evening whilst at the hospital and is still in touch to offer me advice. Although I had to go to the hospital anyway I have zero regrets about coming to SV therapy and paying for a consultation before hand

Sophie was amazing during my recent visit to have a pregnancy massage. Sophie made me feel so comfortable and explained everything to me, I felt instantly at ease and then she worked her magic and gave me a truly amazing hour of relaxation and massage, I felt amazing after and cannot wait to go back post baby.

Sophie and the amazing SV Sports Therapy team supported St Clare Hospice on Sunday 6th April 2025, for our annual 10km race. They provided therapy support to our runners, and generously donated all proceeds to the hospice!

A massive thank you to Sophie at SV who very quickly helped my address an injury so I was fighting fit to participate in my CrossFit competition. Three weeks before the event I injured my wrist and after a week of it not getting better by itself I thought I might have to pull pit. Outstanding Physio – Supportive, Skilled & Results-Driven

I’ve been working with Sophie during my recovery from a complete tibia and fibula fracture, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better care. From the start, she has been incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, tailoring every step of my rehab journey to suit my progress.

Sophie used acupuncture, which made a big difference in reducing the swelling and breaking down a stubborn lump that had formed post-injury that had been there since my break and surgery 9 months ago which I never thought would go. The exercise programs have been spot on progressive, challenging, and always adapted to my improvement.

What’s really stood out is their flexibility. As I’ve improved, they’ve adjusted the frequency and duration of my sessions to match where I’m at physically. That kind of personalised care has been a massive help not just physically but mentally too.

Thanks to their expertise, I’m ahead of schedule in my recovery and feeling confident about returning to sport. Highly recommend to anyone needing physio after injury or surgery.
