Wat een gezeik met dat portal van steam. Koop je een spel moet je eerst inloggen. Waarom??? Vergeet je je ww dan heb je een probleem. Als een klein kind eindeloos klikken op plaatjes (captcha) en nog niet kunnen inloggen. Verzin toch iets anders!! Geef mij maar old school een dvd of blue ray

Ich hatte noch nie Probleme mit Steam. Bisher hat immer alles reibungslos geklappt.

They advertised peggle on a special package which was R28.00 for 2 peggle games, went to the shop the very next day and bought R80.00 gift voucher which would have covered the special deal and still have R52.00 over in account. When i opened my steam account they stated that the price had changed to a R136.00 for the package, this is false advertising and now i am sitting with the gift voucher because i will not pay that ammount, it is most deceiving and warn people to be wary before they buy from steam.

Protecting scammers/hackers. No refunds on stolen items and money. Support is a joke. Closing tickets w/o solving anything. It's like they are scammers/hackers themselves.

Everything about it is just great and my account have been hacked multiple times and got it back every time bcs of the supporters.

Shady business practice, they allow a developer / publisher to change the terms of service after the sale.

I will be getting my games / software from GOG or pirate them from now on. I will no longer purchase anything from steam moving forward.

Not to be trusted. To recover my password, they ask for cd codes. And I didn't even ask for a game entry, only a recovery of my old password. Don't fall for it. Untrustworthy.

I can't explain with any more better things. This web-app/webstore/game marketplace/game tracker/online chat/game streaming platform is so many things and so good at all of them. Unlike most game marketplace services nowadays, this one actually lets you OWN your games and software. For example, I purchased a video editor software named "Movavi Video Editor 19 Pro". All Movavi products were later on removed from steam in 2021 due to a deal they had. Even though no one can see or purchase the software anymore, I can still freely download it, interact with the community, use the workshop and more. The refund policy is damn near perfect with it being incredibly flexible and the support team is incredible. I recently got my hands on a Steam deck and, well, its also perfect with very little things detouring me.

I 100% will recommend and urge people and PC gamers to use Steam to obtain their games and/or software.

Steam soporte técnico lamentable, no les conviene recuperar cuentas... Me robaron una cuenta y estoy intentando recuperarla... La cuenta tiene el mismo nombre que mi cuenta de correo electrónico lo que es una prueba irrefutable de que soy el propietario de la cuenta Steam, además les aporto los mails que recibí cuando creé la cuenta... sin embargo, el soporte me dice que no es una prueba y me pide el CD Key, lo que es imposible que yo consiga el CD Key porque la cuenta la creé hace más de 20 años... Lo que quieren es que compre una cuenta nueva y pague dinerito fresco... Sin vergüenzas...

Steam are currently under massive legal action in the US over 2000 cases being brought against them.

They have facilitated illegal gambling by allowing casinos to directly call APIs.

The reason for my poor review is I feel they have put my gaming library in jeopardy over their inaction.

Digital distribution needs to be regulated to stop these kind of people praying on children.

Absoluut waardeloos, onmogelijk een account te maken

I've always found the website and software navigation to be quite confusing, and the prices are twice as high as elsewhere. I can think of few reasons to buy games here, they really need to catch up. At least they don't make it difficult to play games purchased elsewhere.

Waardeloze zooi, ben al de hele dag bezig om mijn account op een andere pc werkende te krijgen. Ik krijg constant hetzelfde cirkeltje rondgestuurd met kolere captchas en het klopt nooit (alsof ik niet weet wat een fiets of een bus is). Ik kan niet meer bij mijn account (staat gelukkig maar een bedrag op van plusminus 1500 euro op) en Steam is op geen manier te bereiken zonder in deze cirkel eindeloos te herhalen. Weet je wat? ik koop nu alleen nog maar weer fysiek net als vroeger. F*c k STEAM kolere bedrijf lekker geld pakken en niets voor je terug doen. Ga nooit maar dan ook Nooit met dat bedrijf in zee alsjeblieft.....
