Overall
Overall, Squarespace is easy to use and intuitive. I had a really poor experience using Squarespace Payments, however, and customer service and finding solutions took a very long time and was not easy. This caused a lot of extra work and headache.

customer service takes too long to…
customer service takes too long to reply. nearly 2 weeks! and that was on a paid for plan....
I update from free plan to paid plan but didn't get any option for live chat, only message telling me to update, I got email replies to my query 2 weeks later, after I cancelled payments I'm now with Wix, great website builder and great customer

Connecting my Domain to my Squarespace Website
I cannot seem to get any of my domains which are held by Namecheap to connect with Squarespace. Until that is sorted, I cannot begin to establish my online shop to sell photo prints. It's very frustrating

Quick, efficient resolution of my issue
Quickly referred to the correct agent. They had access to account but information that meant efficient resolution. They were patient when my first attempt to cancel something did not happen.

Payout Nightmare
Overall experience using Squarespace. If I didn’t spend thousands on a designer, I’d be gone in a flash. The payouts have been a nightmare for someone with very little money trying to run a new business. My bank account was linked and things ran just fine for the first 3 transactions. Everything was great. Then the 4th and 5th transactions were hell. Suddenly my bank account was detached (I don’t feel safe using Squarespace if this happens), and I had to prove it was me trying to link the exact same account to the exact same site again.
Well, first in needed a minimum of $100 in that bank account to get paid. This is for possible returns. I don’t accept returns in my shop. As someone who is DIRT poor, this took time to fill so that I could GET PAID— get my money that I earned! That I need to stay alive with; not to go on vacation. Once I had the $100 in my account, it still didn’t work. I was still not paid. I had to prove it was me (again, it was fine the first 3 transactions), by downloading (not screenshotting) a bank statement.
I go to do that, and my bank doesn’t have 2026 listed as digital for me for some reason. So I call. I get the info. Submit it. Get paid over a MONTH later. SO PISSED with SQUARESPACE. If you are a low income person trying to make ends meet by using this site- just don’t sign up. Go elsewhere. I reached out to customer service soooooo many times and they didn’t help. I wanted to speak to a human, and I’m sure I was typing to a bot. It’s a nightmare: this site is awful!
