I rented my vehicle from Splend for 9 months on a month by monthly lease. It was a haval h6 and it suied my needs perfectly for uber driving with large boot space and leather interior.

Everyone I dealt with in person from splend has been amazing. Elilias didnmy sign up he was absolutely 10/10 and Ifti did my cancellation of lease and he was very pleasant to deal with. I took extra care to keep the vehicle very clean and free from any dents and scratches and I received my deposit refunded in full.

Yes the leases are a little pricey but to drive a new vehicle upfront with just a few hundred dollars I was very happy with it.

Simon was very helpful and work quickly to resolve my serious incident that causes me alot of stress. Simon was there to help me to remain calm and put me in another car as quickly as possible with professionalism. I was treated with kind and respect. I would recommended these guys as they put customers needs first.

I had a very disappointing experience with Splend.

I attended a scheduled vehicle inspection as requested. Without any prior written notice or warning, my vehicle was retained, and I was told I had to pay $14,000 to get it back. This came as a complete shock.

At the time, my rental payments were up to date, and I had already paid for the following week in advance. I was not provided with a clear explanation, a detailed breakdown of the charges, or any evidence to justify the amount they were demanding.

I expected a fair and transparent process, but instead I felt pressured and treated unfairly. I hope Splend improves its communication, customer service, and dispute resolution process so that other customers do not have the same experience.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Splend.

My experience with Splend has been extremely disappointing, especially the difference between the service before signing the contract and the support afterwards.

Before I signed, I was told that the three-page contract contained the key terms and that anything important would be explained by the sales representative. The contract itself even says, "Speak to one of our friendly staff for further details," so I trusted the information I was given and believed the important points had been covered.

However, after signing, when I raised genuine concerns and asked for clarification, the experience was completely different. Instead of receiving helpful support, I was referred to lengthy policies and terms and conditions that had never been properly explained during the sales process. The response I received was essentially that because I had signed the agreement, everything was my responsibility, even though those key points had not been clearly discussed beforehand.

What disappointed me the most was the after-sales support. When I contacted customer support looking for clarification, I expected a professional and understanding conversation. Instead, I felt that my concerns were dismissed, and the responses came across as defensive rather than supportive. Rather than trying to resolve the issue or understand my perspective, the focus was on pointing me back to the contract and policies.

A good company should stand by its customers even after the sale. Transparency shouldn't end once the paperwork is signed, and customer support should be there to help—not make customers feel like their concerns are an inconvenience.

Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering Splend to get every important promise, responsibility, and exclusion confirmed in writing before signing anything. Unfortunately, the difference between the sales experience and the after-sales support has left me very disappointed.

The Parramatta instore team are amazing. They went above and beyond to help me understand all the details of the contracts. However, be careful of the sales team over at HQ. Especially, this guy who goes by the name Sebastian. If anything goes wrong or if any information was missed by the team they will full on deny and take no responsibility. This Seb bloke got saved by the in store team or else my lawyer would have ended his sales career. Majority of their customers are full time uber drivers and the sales HQ team think they can undermine them by talking big and get away without taking any responsibility.

Shoutout to the whole Parramatta team and especially Emmanuel. He understands true customer service. The HQ sales team should get trained by him. Amazing bloke.

I wouldn't recommend this company for a few reasons:
1. If you finish your "flex own" contract early, you don't get any benefits. You can't even get remaining services like brakes and machined discs after you finalize the contract. I'd tell current customers to use all their services before finalizing the contract!
2. I referred my friend for "flex own" but didn't get the referral bonus because they said I finished my contract before my referral even got their car. I guess I only get the bonus after he gets a car.
3. Customer service is really bad. You always have to wait on the line, even if you have an appointment. Most of the people aren't very polite, except for a few nice guys. Simon is super disrespectful and unhelpful (0 stars for him).
I'd only give 5 stars to Uday. He's really helpful and kind.
5. The insurance process is so slow. I still haven't gotten my excess money after 4 months, and it wasn't even my fault in that accident.

Very happy with the 4 yr contract. And Simon was very helpful in the finalization of the contract .
