We went back through the support conversation because we were surprised to read this. Our team replied to your messages, sent you the link to your account, and then explained where the actual logo files could be downloaded - including a screenshot showing the correct Download button after there was some confusion with the separate Invoice button.
If what you were actually trying to do was continue editing or finish a different version of the design, unfortunately that wasn’t clear from the messages we received. Our team can only work with the problem that’s described to us, and they genuinely were trying to help.
Sometimes the frustrating circle is just two people trying to solve two slightly different problems.
Checkout was confusing
Checkout was confusing. Ended up paying twice, otherwise my purchase wouldn't download. Also, my credit card company issued a warning that your site wasn't secure and noted it as fraudulent. What gives?

Our checkout does not require a second payment in order to download a purchase, so if two charges appeared, you probably thought the first transaction did not go through and made another payment? Of course we can refund you one of the purchases if you paid twice for the same logo. Just get in touch with support@smashinglogo.com with your order details.
Regarding the warning from your card provider: banks can occasionally flag online transactions automatically, but that does not mean the website itself is fraudulent. Our Merchant of Record Paddle is highly respected and credible as a payment provider as well.

Thanks for the feedback. We believe there may have been a misunderstanding around our “one-time payment” wording. This means there is no subscription or recurring fee - you pay once for the logo you choose and can use that logo forever.
It doesn’t mean that one purchase unlocks an unlimited number of finished logos. You can create and explore as many logo concepts as you like for free, and only pay for each logo you decide to purchase.
That said, your feedback is useful. We strive to make our pricing as clear as possible, and we’ll look at whether “one-time payment per logo” would make that distinction even clearer.

Smashlogo was not clear that their video logo service had no updates available if you want something different than what it automatically generates. The sales copy infers that it is not capped. Otherwise the product is good. More customer service clarity is needed in their sales copy.

Out of curiosity, could you let us know where you saw wording that suggested the video could be manually updated or changed beyond what is automatically generated? We genuinely try to make the scope of each package as clear as possible, so if something in our sales copy gives a different impression, we’d like to find it and improve it.
Feedback like this is especially useful when we can pinpoint exactly where the expectation was created.

We checked the order history and can see two logo purchases, one in January and one in February, for a total of $39.
When you contacted our support team, the request was for something that wasn’t included in the package purchased at the time, which our colleague Dominik explained. We’re continuously improving our products and packages, so customers who purchased at different times may have slightly different inclusions.
We understand how that can cause some confusion, but both logos purchased were delivered as part of the respective packages.

Ich wollte eine Logo für den neu gegründeten Handwerksbetrieb. Das Logo wollte ich einfach und schlicht. Das hat auch funktioniert. Aber der Rest ist Augenwischerei. Der Social Media Kit verspricht viel, ist aber eigentlich nur das Logo und ob ich es bewerbe für Insta, Facebook u. a., es ist immer gleich. Warum so viel trara für ein und das Gleiche. Was mich am meisten ärgert ist der Visitenkartendesigner, in der Vorschau sind solch ansprechende Vorschläge, die man dann aber nicht umsetzen kann. Hier hat man die Auswahl aus zwei langweiligen Varianten. Die Webdesign-Entwürfe sind zwei oder drei Screenshots wie die Startseite aussehen könnte und die auch noch recht realitätsfremd. Jeder Handwerker würde sich dafür schämen. KI eben. Die E-Mail-Signatur einzupflegen war auch eine Herausforderung für die ich den "Priorisierten Support" gebraucht habe. 72 Stunden später bekam ich eine Antwort. Ich habe das Paket für 150 Euro erworben. Aus meiner Sicht 100 Euro zu teuer. Bevor man den regulären Preis von 300 Euro bezahlt, sucht euch eine kleine Agentur mit einem persönlichen Ansprechpartner und zahlt lieber mehr. So habe ich es jetzt auch gemacht. Das hier war Lehrgeld.
