Smartwares Arvostelua 

Wij hebben 2 smoke alarms van het type RM520 geplaatst, 1,5 jaar geleden. Deze blijven "vals" alarm geven. Vorige week weer terug geweest en weer een nieuwe gekregen, Twee dagen later ging deze nieuwe melder weer midden in de nacht af. Voor ons nooit meer een smartwares.

I have a smoke alarm (batch T33742) After approx 2 weeks installed it just randomly starts going off... even relegated to the garage it would randomly alarm half way through the night... its loud I will give it that. However as a smoke alarm it is clearly shit.
Worse, you can go to their website and there is NO customer contact information - they dont want to deal with customers, this is the sign of a shit company importing chinese crap that they dont actually deal with customers. Take my advice, do not buy anything from them.

OK, post reply. First if there is a form on the page to contact you then I cant see it, it must be well hidden amongst all the rubbish.
Second, How the HELL does the 'orientation' of the product do anything to create a situation where it goes off randomly? It was actually mounted on a wall - there being no flat ceiling in the bedroom concerned, it was mounted high up using the supplied bracket. After its random going off it was moved to a flat surface in the garage where it continued to go off randomly until I broke the thing apart and wrenched the battery out because it was yelling at 3am in a dry, non smokey garage.

Damaged? Well it is now, but frankly there are what a circuit board mounted in a reasonable flat plastic box, a battery, a detector , 1 capacitor 2 leds, 1 resistor and a small button... The detector element labelled qc21 the unit labelled qualified 01... well it is a piece of cheap chinese crap simple as that.

J’ai acheté une prise programmable Smartwares. Le produit a bien fonctionné et l’application est assez simple d’utilisation.
Ma prise est tombée en panne peu après après la fin de la garantie. Je suis donc déçu

Contacted Smartwares Sept 2024, to advise my external house security camera only works when I am on the premises, not working when abroad as it used to. I have written many mil to customer services /help desk but just ignored, then after 2.5 months I was asked to fill a form and provide proof of purchase, I informed them it was purchased 5 years ago so no proof of purchase, please advise.

No response, do not use this company, it is not professional, it is managed by ametures.

Needed a spare part which was missing when purchased from B&Q. Contacted smartwares through the website and had a reply the next day and the part arrived the week after. Good service IMO.

Twee van mijn rookmelders van het type Smartwares RM218 lijken stuk, testsignaal doet het niet en reageren nergens meer op. Ze zouden in de slaapstand staan. De vraag is hoe de rookmelder uit de slaapstand gehaald kan worden.

Bin sehr unzufrieden mit der "Smartwares-4 Kanalsteckdosen mit Fernbedienung". Zigmal die Steckdosen ordnungsgemäß angemeldet, trotzdem reagieren alle gleichzeitig, ob ich 1, 2, oder 3 drücke, es gehen alle gleichzeitig an und egal, welche Austaste ich drücke, gehen alle gleichzeitig aus. Es hätten also 2 Tasten gereicht: ALL ON und ALL OFF.

Een heel slechte melder! Ik koop nooit meer van dit merk. Ze geven om de haverklap vals alarm. Ook na vervanging van de batterij en na vervanging door een nieuwe (<1 jaar). Mijn hele vertrouwen in brandmelders wordt hierdoor op de proef gesteld.

Patético servicio posventa, llevamos tres meses esperando a recibir el cesto de una freidora de aire Princess que se ha roto en menos de un año. El producto es de muy mala calidad. Nos dan largas y largas diciendo que ha salido y luego que h habido un problema y no ha salido.

Steeds problemen met App en online inloggen, dus zeker niet aan te raden, hebben ook aangegeven te stoppen met ondersteunen app dus koopt maar nieuw systeem

We hadden een buitenunit van de bel besteld , dat bleek niet ons probleem op te lossen , dus retour gestuurd. En na DRIE mailtjes later uiteindelijk ook het daarvoor tevoren betaalde geld retour gekregen. Ik zou zeggen niet te snel stoppen met communiceren , soms blijkt: de aanhouder wint , en dingen kunnen nou eenmaal in een vergeethoek komen.altijd vriendelijk blijven .

Rookmelders gekocht. “No need to ever change the battery.” Heerlijk duurzaam dus…niet! Na 1 jaar moet je deze gewoon weggooien, heel slecht

Helaas moest ik een ster geven maar jullie bedienen geen ene ster..
Ik wacht ruim 23 dagen op mijn geld terug wordt beloofd om het elke x binnen 5 dagen te doen
Dus niet!!

Camera gekocht van smartwares maar is totaal waardeloos omdat de app niet bestaat,

Waardeloos dit, gooi je geld meteen de vullisbak in, minder stress.

Te laat ligt al in de vuilnisbak.

Zeker slechte ervaring met koolmonoxide melder. Geeft zeer luide piep als batterij leeg is . Maar bijna onmogelijk op apparaat te openen. Heb uiteindelijk van de muur moeten slopen om de batterij te vervangen. apparaat is duidelijk ontworpen zodat batterij (normale 9 volt) bijna niet te vervangen is.
Zeer ondeugdelijk ontwerp.
Niet kopen.

Pesimo servicio post venta. No comprar aqui, cualquier problema no te lo resolveran

Helaas heb ik te laat de andere recensies over Smartwares gezien, want wij hebben een gelijke ervaring. Een paar jaren geleden een rookmelder met 10 jaar batterij gemonteerd. Deze piept telkens. Diverse keren met perslucht 'schoon' gespoten, maar helaas. Klantenservice biedt geen oplossing als er geen aankoopbewijs meer is. Ik heb sterk de indruk dat ze bewust voordeel proberen te halen uit het feit dat maar weinig mensen een aankoopbon 10 jaar bewaren.

Rookmelder Smartwares (PD-8829 10 jaar batterij) geeft vals alarm. Hangt er pas 2 a 3 maandjes. Geen vuiltje op de sensor te bekennen dus dat is zeker niet de oorzaak!

I would not recomment buying anything of their products. I bough a streetlamp though amazon, where they were the dealer behind the sale. The streetlamp have errors / fault - and eventhough I have been in contact with the eg customerservice and more. First then seem nice - but then it was clearly after a couple days with contact they keep asking for stuff they already got of information, photos etc. I did all they ask for but keep asking for details I already given them. So I fast got the feeling - that it looks liek they want to help, But behind that polite service online - there nothing really. they donot want to help with founding a way to solutions by mails & own online system. They just trying to make people give up, and have it looks like their product is better then they are. Donot buy products like my streetlamp on 130 cm high - either at the firm it self online or at others online like amazon that sell their products. There really none help, if there problems with the products.So I see it like they donot stand behind their own products since not want to really help etc.

Simple. My table lamp controller has given up the ghost.
