They ask for verification AFTER taking your money which is honestly shady, at least do it upfront. I understand why they do it: the money is already out of your account so the barrier to stop the process is higher. According to their own website they ask for verification depending on payment method, region, or payment limit. All those variables are known before you transfer the money, so asking for verification after the fact is a deliberate choice.

I requested a refund. Will update.

Update: Refund has been approved and should be done within 14 days. I have raised the rating. I still feel it is sub-par because of asking verification after taking the money, hence 2 stars.

This website uses illegal methods to process payments of any kind! It is absolutely not trustworthy. I do not recommend it to anyone; it can be very dangerous for everyone involved who shares any kind of personal information or data. It could be an 'open door' for fraudulent activities.

After thoroughly reading the terms and conditions on your website, I found no article regarding your obligation to request any type of identification document, nor any security related to the same matter. Therefore:

The service just works. Within the past year that I've used Rewarble I've had pretty much no issues. Somebody sends a gift card, you redeem it, you can use it for whatever. The fees do get a bit high in some places though, but that's to be expected.

Awful experience when ordering over a weekend!

Upon completing my purchase, the goods were locked behind a verification. After completing parts of that verification, my final step was to send my phone bill with the number included as proof. However, the only way to do this is via the support section, which sends as an email. I sent this late Friday night, and had no such thing as a word back bar the automated email response until Monday morning.

Ultimately, you leave the service relieved you haven't been scammed or lost out. However, that way of trading will leave a lot of people short when we live in an age of receiving digital goods immediately, especially essential when it is being purchased as a gift.
