Shurgard Self-storage, Chingford

I had the best experience ever at my local Shurgard, self storage unit. I went there to ascertain different sized units with prices. The assistant, Cem was so helpful explaining the current promotions & the different sizes I would need to store my book & recommendations for the best boxes for the weights of the books. At no time was I rushed Cem took genuine interest in my concerns. Cem is a credit to the company, well done!

Great service

The colleague-Siobhan who attended to us was very professional, friendly and was knowledgeable in her job. She advised us well on the right size of space to choose.

Great start

Siobhan at Cingford Shurgard is most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I have been offered a competitive rate for a storage unit. Very happy with the service so far.

Poor Customer Service and Lighting

Shurgard inside lights don't work properly because the sensors for the lights are poor. The lights go out and the place goes really dark, almost pitch dark.
Its really scary when you see other another person walking around in the distance but you cant see them properly because its too dark when the lights go out. It does this after 15-20min even though you are still moving around outside your lockup. Even scarier when you are inside your lockup!
You have to walk up and down to the front of the building in the darkness until the light sensors kick back in. I complained to the staff about it and they ignored my concern about the lack of safeness I feel being there because of this problem. But they were rude by saying to me, don't be lazy and walk to turn the lights back on again. And then they have the cheek to increase the prices all the time!

Shurgard has treated me worse than this and I left the reviews telling of my experience in accordance with trustpilot rules. Yet my latest reviews that trustpilot approved, seems to be removed. Don't believe all these positive reviews because I wonder how many other people's negative reviews have been removed. Car
