Communication and Website Issues

The primary issue is inability to communicate with anyone at WOB. They attempted payments for my two trades through PayPal, who decided to close my account just after I sent the trade shipments. While that situation is probably unique, I have been unable to contact anyone about resolving this. Their ChatBot is just a roadblock, and I had to Google a customer service email address (waiting to see if anyone responds).

Compounding this issue is inability to log back into their website via my desktop or my laptop. I tried my old and new passwords, but neither work. Their Forgot Password link doesn't send me emails, either. Oddly, I can still log in through my phone app, but it has very limited functionality. I did receive communication from their IT staff, but the solutions were ineffective.

The phone app is very user-friendly, and I was able to send two shipments before I got locked out. But everything is at a standstill right now.

'Missing' book

Mostly it was fine but this is another time when they have said one of the books is missing. After the first time when we definitely remembered putting the missing book in the bottom of the box we have always double checked with one reading the titles and the other putting them into the box so we do not see how this keeps happening.

Slick operation

I really liked selling books to World of Books - their app is really slick - just scan in and get a quote instantly. The home pick up makes it convenient and the money payment went smoothly and swiftly.
It makes me feel good to see my books being resold and so reused by others. Price isn't a fortune but that isn't really why I use them.
