Yep...scam. When the email communication is full of poor grammar and misspelled words, you know it’s a scam. The service can’t even be used. It may not even exist.

Tried putting money on son's account. First thing after all the information on the card. Before I could give an amount...get an email stating they charged me 45.67. Emailed immediately and after about an hour and a half I get a text saying I will be charged 15.00..service charge. Waiting on my 31.00 refund. What a scam!!!!!!!!

So I'm thinking about using this service. I thought I would look at the reviews to see if this is a scam or not due to it sounding almost too good to be true however I'm a little confused because most of you are complaining that you were billed without your consent well how did the website get your billing information to be able to bill you???? Just saying..... I don't ever ever ever fill in my credit card information to any website unless I'm planning on being billed I mean serioualy why would anyone do that that's like laying a hundred dollar bill on the sidewalk with a sign that says take it and then getting mad when someone does
Also on the website right above with it asks you to PROVIDE your BILLING INFO and lists all the details it says even in big words ONE TIME ACTIVATION FEE so that's just being a dumb was on your end the whole time I was trying to read reviews to see if once YOU provide your billing info
do you get unlimited calls from your incarcerated loved ones that you shared whatever phone number they gave you to use all I have seen was complaining how it's hard to get a refund well that's a lot of company's especially if they are based online so after they Bill you unexpectedly haha does it work or not??????

why is a place like this allowed to continue ripping people off. it's frustrating to deal with this kind of scum. \

This is a total scam, I wish I would have read the reviews first. I have written these people multiple emails about how I cannot use this DISservice and their reply is instructions on how to use it. They refuse to give any kind of refund. Customer service is horrible.

Listen here is a valid review of securtel.. I over 2months ago called securtel and was hopeful of savings..not only did I not receive "quoted " savings that "had been researched and verified" by the CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I spoke with...the EXTRA POSTCARDS that I was to receive were not even valid for the institution I was affiliated with... I have asked for a refund 6 times and finally 2 month's later after repeated timely dismissals of my request and reauthorization of there USELESS SERVICES..have I gotten a response of "here is part of your money..because YOU WERE STUPID ENOUGH TO SIGN UP... " I have been deducted an amount because I signed up .. shouldn't they be deducted an amount for LYING AND FRAUDING THE CONSUMER?

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I had issues with my card and they refused me a refund. They were also very rude and not understanding whatsoever. Please look through the reviews before deciding to put any of your money into this. I am now put 50 dollars to this useless company!

I wish i had read the reviews before i even considered this. I couldnt get to the next step to find out prices etc until i entered my card information. It immediately charged me 45.00. I am contacting my credit card company. This is theft!! The extra 14.00 for taxes/activation fees??? They clearly state "NO ACTIVATION FEES, NO HIDDEN FEES!!!
SCAM ! I am contacting every consumer resource/scam alert that I can. Shame on this business for taking advantage of people!!

This is a bullsit website. SCAM!! I never authorized them to take a $50 payment. I was simply just setting up an account. I needed that money. I have a newborn at home and a man in jail.

Got my for 45.98$ charged my card without my knowledge. This company is a complete scam. Do not trust them.

Signed up thinking I was signing up with Securustech via a link to create an account.
Securustech will ask for your card info and then allow you to choose the amount you want to spend. That is what I thought I was doing.

At no time during the process did the site ask say they were going to debit my card $49.95 and that $15 was non-refundable. Normally when you are doing a transaction it tells you if they are charging and how much. Not this site.

They only way I knew my credit card was charged was the notification on my phone and I logged into the account and saw the charge and these stupid postcards. Called within 5 minutes and I get a voice recording, no live people. Sent message and email, then they respond "Please stay and if you don't there is a non-refundable $15 fee" (not exact worst, but basically what the response said) If your honest, you should have no problem refunding people who cancel immediately and never use your service.

Anyone who has lost money to this company please report them to the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. Especially FTC so this company gets on there radar.

Anyone reading this who knows who the owners are please post. I am going to follow this page.

If you are looking for a reliable company that provides this service try Securustech. Used them years ago and no issues at all. They even do refunds and credits if the calls are dropped.

Absolute F****** garbage!!! What a rip off! If you can ever use the service their operators are out sourced to India good luck with that phone call. I did call for assistance the operator was just as useless as the web page. There's a $15 non refundable "FEE" out of your $46 if you decide to cancel the account. read the very fine print WAY at the bottom of the website.

I don't want to give one star. You advertise a false claims. You sold me a phone number, like one of those pharmacy discount cards for 48.00 with claims of unlimited calls no penalties for cancellation. You kept half of what I paid. Now it's going to take 7 to 10 business days to get back the little bit of money I had to put on an actual account to talk to my loved ones. Your manipulating crooks!!! Thriving in people that are already suffering.

total scam!! I asked to refund money because my daughter cant use the number they gave. it cost me 45.00 and still cant talk to my child total ripoff and now cant get money back and still pay collect at jail.

I give them no stars as well. I asked for a refund because I didnt intend on using them somehow I was directed to this site, and then found out how much they charged. My family member was getting out the next day so didn’t need to have that charge. I can’t understand any of the people on the phone, asked more than once to speak to a manger they say they have a big volume of calls, cmon ~ customer service is #1 I feel they are just taking from people.
I asked for a refund they say I can get it back all but 14.99 to process it, with in 5-7 business days ~ what it takes them no time to debit it from your account to begin with. I asked for that to be sent to my email. So I can have something in writing. I talked to my bank and I can dispute this within those days if the money is not returned to me.

I have been trying to contact somebody all day, they authorized my card in the amount of 45.98$ without my permission every time I tried to speak to someone, it never goes through or they say they are too busy to answer my phone call trying to get a refund back on my card now. Scared that they have my card information that they will use it again without my permission.
