I purchased a Sealey grinder from Amazon it arrived the next day I have set it up in my garage and found it to be a great machine it does everything I needed to do I’m very pleased with it

My jump starter arrived quickly. Thankfully not used it yet. Looks good quality like most Sealey products, I have a few.

Great products an a trusted brand, I’ve used for years.
A pleased to say the same reliable product a reliability is still going. A++++++

Poor customer service handling charges are a rip off..il never use there product again . No mention of charges when purchasing or help from there staff..rang them directly and asked if i could speak to a manager refused that and fobbed off ..£21.00 out of pocket with their charges

Visited sealey today at there main site,wanted to see if an item I wanted to buy was suitable for purpose.
Simple you would think!
But oh nooooo
Their unable to help can’t let you check a an item to see if fit for purpose as it means they have to open a box and let you view it
Their recommendation is order one off eBay then send it back if no good
So basically Sod off we don’t want or care for your custom
Hopefully other firms will treat them with the same manner
Go to a firm that wants and respects your custom

I bought a Sealey solar powered floodlight yesterday. Installed it on a grey Scottish day! Today, it's emitting a faint whine and not lighting. I called Sealey's helpline - the phone was answered within 30 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The operator put me through to technical support within 15 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I mean, wow, these days!!!!) I got this great guy who listened, went down to the showroom to get one of the lights, then consulted with a colleague who had more experience with this model - and reassured me that the whine was normal and NOT dangerous (as Google AI had blandly stated, thus terrifying me) and that I just needed to be patient until it had AT LEAST 10 hours of good sunshine to charge the Lithium batteries, after which it should operate normally. If not, after a reasonable time, he said - return it for replacement. I GOT BRILLIANT, EASY TO ACCESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! How rare is that nowadays. So - don't know yet whether it needs to be returned, but the explanation made sense. And the return option is there. SO - BUY from these people rather than the sharks hiding behind AI answer machines!!! Yes, it looks expensive for a solar floodlight - but you get what you pay for. People need to realise that - then the likes of Sealey will get more sales and be able to reduce their prices, when we stop using these shady Facebook/Amazon/Ebay suppliers.

Ordered a STS01 folding adjustable wheel step through sealey on Amazon after previously ordering wheel steps through 2 other sellers which ended in refunds after a few weeks of waiting on each.

Anyway after 2 weeks the step arrived, opened box and already assembled to fit straight on wheel.
I have already adjusted to max height to access roof tent on a 4x4, it certainly makes life easier to gain access.

Vehicle: Toyota Landcruiser 2" suspension lift on 265/75/16 tyres.

Very happy with the price of this item, the built quality is solid, and takes my weight of 16st.

Not interacted with customer service, so cannot comment.

Tip don't bother shopping around for cheaper alternatives, just buy sealeys product.

Brought a Sealey model sl325 in 20th may 2025 jump pack it’s just out of warranty spoke to Sealey there’s nothing there prepared to do to rectify their faulty product spending upwards of £250-£300 on a jump pack. You would expect it to last more than 14 months. Absolute load of rubbish the battery is leaking fluid everywhere I tried charging it it seems to get hot and I have only given the jump pack two charge cycles in its life avoid buying this model if you want longevity, buy something else

I have just bought and assembled a hose reel GH60a. The service speed of delivery and quality of the product was excellent. My previous similar product failed due to UV degredation having been in the sun light for nearly 20 years, I will cover this one! The detailed design improvements are all good except for the previously angled hose attachment still shown on the instructions, which is now straight, and takes up a little more room. The assembly diagrams are unhelpful. It is much quicker to assemble the wheel first (fig 2) then add the three standholders without the metal legs, fasten with their hose connections then lastly fit the metal legs.

Tried to order catalogues through the website and over the telephone ....... Still waiting...............

Had an issue with my hand riveter (AK3987) slipping on the rivets.

Emailed Technical Support and had an email back from David within 30 minutes. A new set of jaws were sent out, free of charge.

Can’t fault Sealey at all.

No replacement keys available.
Bought a gun safe, lost one key and contacted sealey for a spare only to be told they don’t have any, their supplier doesn’t manufacture them and therefore cannot get them.
So I need to replace the safe now to be safe else I could end up with a locked gunsafe if I lose the key and no way to open other than I assume a very costly locksmith.
Obviously I won’t go for a sealey replacement if they can’t supply keys to their own safes
What a waste of time installing and money!!

Been using these mechanics mats for about six years now, they are fantastic.

Sealed make excellent tools, and their lifetime warranty is genuinely that! After 20 years of use, the universal joint in my 3/8” socket set broke: the pin came loose. They replaced it with no quibbles, and the new one feels even better quality than the original! Here’s to another 20 years.

I never even knew that a foot-operated log-splitter existed. Very good price and works well.
Spitting logs today I did have to put full weight (12Stone) on it however the wood is quite solid.
Shame it's made in China but hey.

probably the worst company ever i now have over 4k sat with different companies so i cannot even order the motorbike lift i want from another manufacturer until i am refunded because sealey cannot send an item that they sell because they don’t have the correct couriers then you talk to them direct and your met with patronising staff company’s is an embarrassment

Just wanted to reach out & quote that I’ve had the best customer service from Maddie , I needed a spare part for something I’d brought roughly 5 yrs ago , my enquiry was dealt with in a super friendly manner , emails replied to very quickly . I couldn’t have been helped any better …..Hope management read this review & reward employees accordingly

I contacted Sealey tools as I have a ratchet wrench - possibly around 15 years old - from their premier range that needed attention.
John from technical responded within the hour and via email we quickly diagnosed the problem.
He then proceeded to send me a repair kit totally free of charge which I received a couple of days later and easily fitted in under 5 minutes thus restoring the wrench to full operation rather than throwing it away and needing to buy another.
I have a lot of Sealey tools and have experienced similar excellent customer service in the past - whether they are from their premier range or not.
If only all manufacturers would be that helpful and actually supply replacement parts it would save ridiculous amounts of waste and result in happier customers.

I have lots of Sealey branded tools which i use daily. Unfortunately the clasp on a Sealey professional tool case broke off. I emailed and explained the issue. .. few days later I had a new case supplied.

Will never buy from Sealey , or partshop 247 again. Item was returned over a week ago , still no refund. Box was totally destroyed that tool came in telling me takes 5 days to ( assess ) return absolute rubbish . Im £234 out of pocket ive had to inform bank and ebay fraud . This has been pver 2 weeks ive been fighting this . Im a small business and this has impacted me massively as im out lf pocket .
