Needed an old washing machine taken away but couldn't spend all day watching for a scrapman.Decided to check online and found Scrap4Free.Easy to book.PANOPTIC CLEARANCE txted me.Arranged collection day/time.Was collected this morn.Great service.

Easy to use and a great, fast service. Will definitely be using again.

I was having real difficulty finding someone to take my old integrated dishwasher away. Tried leaving it outside, no joy.
I ended up asking Chat GPT (desperate times!) how to get rid of something nobody wanted, it came up with Scrap 4 Free.
I dropped in my details, received an immediate response and collection booked. Day of collection the guy turned up on time and took the dishwasher.
Amazing service. I will be using Scrap 4 Free again, absolutely brilliant.

I signed up for a free trial after 3 weeks of the free trial they sent me a email it’s £50 a month. I said don’t think it’s worth it as I’ve had about £40 worth of scrap so they cancelled my free trial

Amazing. Came within the hour to pick up the material. Never seen anyone that efficient.

Very quick pick up of scrap washing machine from my home address. Communication was clear & concise. Would 100% use again

It would have been more useful if I knew before going through the booking system to find there is no one that covers the area I live in.i did have another Scrapman lined up he just let me down so I tried this , and I’m no better off , so I’m going to drag it out and take it to the tip myself

Good communication

Very easy to arrange a collection, good communication and all sorted within 24 hours. Excellent service . 😃👍

The collection was quick and easy. Company workers were friendly and polite 🤩Highly recommend

Very efficient service - I contacted them on Saturday and the items were collected on Tuesday. Anthony was very quick to respond by text, even when I had to change the items for collection the day before. The team were friendly and were happy to move items through the house. I would definitely use them again.

Fantastic fast collection would absolutely recommend

Called them yesterday afternoon and they came first thing this morning. Great service and very friendly. Will definitely use them again.

Prompt, polite and efficient

Appalling service – completely unreliable
I requested a scrap metal collection through Scrap4Free and on 4th August received confirmation that my collection had been assigned to Slough Metals, with job reference JOB1785855817.
The confirmation specifically stated that the collector would contact me shortly to arrange a convenient collection time.
I waited, but nobody contacted me and no collection was arranged.
After more than two weeks of hearing absolutely nothing, I emailed Scrap4Free on 19th August to ask what was happening. It is now 27th August and I have not even received the courtesy of a reply.
What is the point of offering a collection service, confirming that a collector has been assigned, and then simply disappearing? Nearly a month after the original confirmation, the scrap has still not been collected and nobody has bothered to explain why.
The lack of communication and basic customer service is appalling. If there was a problem with the collector, Scrap4Free should have dealt with it, reassigned the job or at the very least responded to my email.
A complete waste of time and an extremely disappointing experience. Based on the service I have received, I certainly would not recommend Scrap4Free.
