A very doable program !
This program was fine and better than I imagine other courses are! It did its job and it has a lot of potential. The organization of the chapters made sense and the content was very thorough. I learned a lot about my car and find myself more aware of the road and my car than I have been in the past as a result of the course.
The course was mostly reading and images, with some video. The content was informative but dry, and at times, it read like ChatGPT. The extensive reading made it difficult to sustain long-term attention. I chose to adapt by completing over a couple of weeks by chapter, even though I just wanted to get it done. Would have liked to see better implementation of universal design for learning here, as it would have demonstrated audience awareness, compassion, and inclusivity: your neurodivergent learners, your full-time working learners, your busy parents (and your full-time working busy parents!!) are likely to struggle to complete or maintain long-term motivation because it takes a lot of energy and focus to sustain attention long enough to read all that AND wait for the lesson timer to count down.
The assessments could use some revision. The end-of-chapter assessments did not contain feedback on what was correct or incorrect, so I was not able to tell what I got wrong or why. If I had feedback, I could rule out the possibility of some of the questions being mis-configured in the LMS - I noticed I got a lot of 75% results despite taking my time and double-checking that I was reading the questions correctly. I can't point to any specific questions because the assessments disappear once you take them - you see the score without any breakdown of the questions you got right and wrong, which is anxiety-inducing when your driving record is on the line. Specific, timely, robust feedback is instructional design 101. BUT, the questions were good and a majority of them were well-written recall-level questions. Not obvious, but not outlandishly difficult either.
For the course owner, consider researching and testing some authoring tools that enable interactives, sims, or scenarios. I saw a lot of places, like the weather conditions sections and the "anatomy of your car" chapters, that would benefit from "tactile" (as much as it can be online) learning or active decision-making. Application activities like scenarios or simulations are better for learning retention and engagement.

When you initially registered, the court selected was Maricopa Municipal Court. However, based on your citation paperwork, your actual court is Scottsdale Municipal Court. Unfortunately, these are two different courts with different fee structures set by the courts themselves. We are required by Arizona law to collect these court fees on behalf of the courts and remit them directly. We do not keep this money or set these prices.
Had we not corrected your court assignment to Scottsdale Municipal, your course completion would not have been recorded with the correct court, which would have caused much bigger problems for you down the line.
We sincerely apologize that our customer service team didn't have a chance to reach out and explain this before you paid the difference. You resolved it so quickly that we didn't get the opportunity to walk you through the situation. A customer service team member will be reaching out to you personally to ensure there's no misunderstanding and to answer any questions you may have.
We're glad you were able to complete your course, and we can confirm we've already reported your completion to Scottsdale Municipal Court.

By far the worst experience with a company. I sent several emails and no one responded until they felt the need. The agent Syd went back and forth with me about what the court said and did not say. I would never use this school again and would encourage you to find a different school.
The only reason I used them is because they were near the top of the list. Please, I beg you find a different school!

Based on our records, the course was not completed within the original court-assigned timeframe, which required an extension request. While the court granted a continuance through February 9, 2026, Arizona state law requires defensive driving courses to be completed at least seven days prior to any extension date.
We understand the confusion, as the court document wording can reasonably be interpreted differently. However, when our team contacted the court directly to confirm, they advised that the seven-day requirement still applied and the course could not be completed on February 9th.
Once a further extension through March 10th was granted, we immediately reactivated your course. You completed it on February 11, 2026, and we electronically reported your completion to the court within minutes. The case record will be fully updated once the court receives the diversion payment check by mail.
We genuinely try to give our students as much flexibility as possible, but we are required to comply with timelines set by the court and the State of Arizona. We don't have the authority to override those requirements, even when we'd like to.
We regret that this resulted in a negative experience. If you'd like to discuss this further, please contact us directly.

Course material was very good. Help line not so much. Had a start up issue and tried to use both the chat option and telephone support. Both were a failure, no call back or response on chat. I finally figured out what my problem was but wasted 45 minutes. If the company has no help support then just removed it from the menu
