Placed an order for fire boards
Placed an order for fire boards, money left my account immediately. Next day recieved an email saying they couldn’t fulfill my order due to not having enough stock. Didnt even bother to call me, you would think a company would contact the customer and notify when stock would be available and would they be happy to what. Said they have refunded my money but still waiting. Wouldn’t order again as they are not reliable or professional.
Review was taken down as the company told Trustpilot that I wasn’t a genuine customer. However the review was reinstated when I sent evidence of my order. Makes you wonder why they would lie in the first place

Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing supply issues with certain plasterboard products, particularly fire boards, in some areas of the UK. Despite our best efforts to maintain accurate stock levels, availability can change very quickly, and on this occasion we were unable to fulfil your order.
Your refund was processed by us yesterday. While we issue refunds immediately, it can take up to 24 hours (and occasionally a little longer depending on your bank) for the funds to appear back in your account.
We apologise that you felt our communication fell short. We appreciate that a phone call would have been preferable, and we'll take your comments on board as we continue to improve our customer service.
We're sorry for the inconvenience caused and hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the level of service we strive for.

Their slate is consistently good quality, delivery is always very quick, and the team are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful whenever we have any questions. I placed an order paid extra delivery for my area got a order confirmation then got another email telling me that the order had shipped then another email the same day saying delivered then a follow up email to say sorry we can’t process your order as we don’t have any stock we have refunded you fully I’m just shocked at how shit this company is I strongly advise not to use this company

Our automated system had already triggered the standard order updates before the stock issue was identified, which resulted in the confusing shipping and delivery notifications you received. We appreciate how frustrating and misleading this must have been.
As soon as the issue came to light, we processed a full refund immediately and contacted you to explain the situation. While we know this doesn't make up for the inconvenience caused, please accept our sincere apologies.

Good value online retailer. Happy with my purchase and delivery time.
Roofing outlet has regularly the best prices on the window products (velux and Fakro) I am after.
Delivery is quick.
Only minor negative is the lack of visibility on order processing between the confirmation and the dispatch directly from manufacturer but since it is quick overall, there is not much to complain about.
